Introduction:
This immoral, devious, ruthless, subjugating and penetrating book distills three thousand years of the history of power into 48 brutal and very clearly explained laws. Here you will find all those people who throughout history have touched on the topic of power. Some laws teach us about modesty, some about secrecy, while some point us to uncompromising opportunism, but regardless of our moral objections that I hope you will form by watching, these laws are completely real and observable in our everyday life. The goal of publishing this work is not to show the way of gaining power, but rather the opposite, to recognize other people's attempts to control our everyday life.
In other words, you are watching my interpretation of the 48 Laws of Power, a self-improvement book exploring history's lessons through the lens of might, summarized visually for your entertainment with the author's permission (Robert Greene). Keep in mind not to take what's presented at face value. It is not to be taken literally but rather with a grain of salt. The script follows a very "if, then" formula. Simply rejoice in some of the ridiculous stories from our shared history.
There's a natural progression to the quality of the videos. While I have considered simply deleting older content (and hiding the fact that I am also imperfect) it shows the humble beginnings of this channel. The learning curve from the texts, voiceovers, editing to the visuals has been intermittent, but consistent. Creators grow with each piece of work. I cannot dislike my initial work as flawed as it is, because it's allowed me to improve and I've enjoyed the creative outlet for art's sake.
I have since recreated this 3h series into a bare bones 30 minute animation with a higher skillset -- ua-cam.com/video/670ZGMBjrPI/v-deo.html. It's the thousands of hours put into this that got it 12 million views and counting. There is no shortcut. I may have put in the work, but it's a humbling experience to see viewers who appreciate and see value in one's ambitions.
It is my wish that you see these laws for what they are and comprehend the perspectives within with your own good judgement and in tact moral compass. If you take offense I am glad, because I fundamentally agree with you. People who abuse their power in society are abhorrent. Here you can see how they maneuver for the protection of your loved ones, to fortify your very soul against the devil's machinations. In this day and age.
Reminder that the laws are not rules. They're general principles. They're situational and not instructional. The laws are separate. They're not meant to be harmonious. This is still a summary filled with my own interpretations of the book to make you curious. It's not a substitute. I recommend reading it. This is not advocating bad behavior. This is a dojo teaching self-defense from the very people you condemn.

Its crazy, your summaries years ago are what taught me about the 48 laws of power. Since time has passed ive seen these first hand and even had to take some Ls being on the other side of them. Great to see your new upload all this time later, personally learning these so I can make up for past mistakes not paying close enough attention the first time
This book is very helpful in handling manipulators. Manipulators want to conceal their manipulations and ensure you are not prepare and/or have no defence to their schemes. Im in experience this book helps to manage manipulative circumstances , highly recommend reading it and/or watch depictions of it for ones wellbeing under such circumstances.

I'd LOVE a reupload with slightly better audio quality. This extended version gives us just the extra amount of context/historical lessons that we need to go deeper into what Dr Greene is trying to convey with them.

This is such a briliant break down of the book that you should concider dialing in the audio track a bit more cause its a but difficult to follow. Maybe put a compressor on the voice and drop some of the low mids.

You could really say the 48 laws of power is protection against madmen. Not necessarily against evil, but more against insanity. An evil man may want you to rise above your station and become greater however a madman will always want to kill you no matter what you do, the worst thing you can do is give them an opportunity to do so.
