Cpl Prins - always loved your mischievous smile and knew something was afoot (sweat & kak) when that smile came up. But you & the other Cpl team prepared us well for 7Med, Many happy memories of you, Van, & Sargent Loubser and sadly cant remember the others. Great listening to you.
Hey Mr Brown - good to see you looking good! Been a long time my friend. Remember visiting your folks in Parkmore. Think the last time we had a beer together was in Omauni, Sector 20. Good memories of Prins & Co 😊 Take care. Mike Andrew
Another very interesting episode. Thank you for sharing your story Johan. As a normal base medic I enjoyed it very much and yes, we were also called bad names by some. I used to just laugh it off as I knew these guys had an inferiority complex. I must also say that most of the NCO's and Officers at SA intelligence school were I was based, treated us good. One of these were S/Major Kevin Ridden. He was a boffin with the mortar and whenever the troops were having weapons training he would include me(without having to clean the weapon😂) I really enjoyed that.
Never a dull moment listening to your guests . Dankie Koos.
Thank you Dr Prins for sharing your story and thank you Koos and team for this platform.
