I will say this that I think it’s great that he and the ex are at least trying to keep their daughter out of their drama because I know firsthand that that is something that really does mess with kids is when they are stuck in the middle of an extremely toxic relationship

Yes, but that song was written about (the end of) his relationship with Scarlett, Griffin's mother. The marriage he's talking about in this interview is with Stephanie Luby.

I have read his books, I think he falls too hard, too soon, gets married, and then gets trapped. Do I think there’s toxicity on his end? Potentially. I’m not gonna sit here and say he has never done nothing. But I think due to other stuff in his life prior he just falls too soon and too hard, ask questions later.

Get what you are saying but as men all we here is about terrible men in relationships and how its always the man who is toxic but more men need to tell there story's as I know for a fact so many guys I know have had kids to women who make there lives hell but because they love there kids and don't want to live with the usual.. oh he's a dead beat dad who walk out on them then they feel like they are forced to stay and put up with it. If more men where honest maybe they would feel less shame to walk away in those senerios
