Introducing Dr. Becky Bowling- the Newest Member of the UT Turfgrass Team

We are joined by Dr. Becky Bowling, the newest addition to the UT Turfgrass Team. Dr. Becky Bowling will be taking over for the legendary Dr. Tom Samples who retired in 2022. In this episode, we will learn about Dr. Bowling’s background in the turfgrass industry and how she plans to engage with turfgrass managers on pest management issues in the future.

I'm a Turfgrass manager here in eastern TN Tri-Cities area and I work more with the homeowners and the do it yourselfers, and I have been trying to get them to utilize more of the Extension Office and its resources that they have available. I think the smaller focused groups would be more beneficial to this community.
