Hello , first I would really appreciate your efforts for making that video . It was very clearly and technically made to understand those automobile words . I reached to you in search of my car hunt to buy . So I read about KIA SONET PETROL power train breakup and came across the word 1.2 MT , 1.0ACMT & 1.0DCT . I am clear on first and lateral. I am still not clear what does ACMT means and where does it stand in the hierarchy from MT to DCT .

Fun: DCT>AT>CVT>AMT
So if you love fun.... Go for the DCT. But again with the reliability issue it faces, Torque Converters are the best option, they are reliable and shift quite fast. If you want efficiency: CVT is for you. AMTs are still very jerky and you feel the shifts. But they are slowly improving.
Need everything and can let go some inconvenience: Manuals rule!

Rather than saying automatic transmission you could have precisely called it Torque Converter. And how could you miss rubber band effect of CVT?

DCT in Venue and Seltos are having heating issues in Delhi NCR stop and go traffic. Which is a huge downside
In the DCT gear box or dual clutch transmission gear is very quickly shifted around 0.8 seconds and so the tachometer does not shows the fall of the RPM as a result the overall mileage is more due to less engine load and negligible throttle response Also insert the gearbox the overall performance and power is more than compare to other transmissions due to the negligible uneven wastage of power and torque while shifting gears ⚙️

Search the piston does not reciprocate 16,000 times a minute but the crankshaft rotates 16,000 times a minute so the tachometer so 16,000 RPM Or speed

Generally in the modern cars the planetary gear box is used with fluid flywheel also in some modern cars torque converter is used instead of planetary gearbox and fluid flywheel

I own 2 car DSG.
1st volkswagen Jetta diesel with DSG. Milage is 22 on highway.
2nd volkswagon Polo GT TSI with DSG. Milage is 19 on highway. And 0-100 in just 8 sec.

Sorry to say but the new ford ecosport is equipped with the DCT gearbox which have been facing lots of clashes and official legal problems. This gearbox is manufactured by CATERAC COMPANY.
