The extra dishes you need to wash to show us all of the ingredients is not ignored! We appreciate you, Ann!
Hi
I love these videos so much, but whenever I see them all I can imagine Is how long those would take to wash
ua-cam.com/video/ibmSlUCSviA/v-deo.html
@@Saige_L I wash as I go or have a little helper (my younger siblings) it speeds things up a bit
@@Saige_L Wash as you go along. I've always found that to be best. Even while cooking Sunday dinners, or any other large meals where lots of utensils are used!
I know it probably hasn't been that long but it feels like forever since a classic Anne dessert video!!! What a way to start 2021 😍😍😍😍😍
It's been like a whole year! When was the last one- 2020??
It's because 2020 was the longest year ever
@@shadedway5277 well a year is 12 months...so no. It has been SINCE last year but hasn’t been a year.

Gg btw I'm never playing amung us with u again
Before finding how to cook that I almost stopped baking because of the fake content by content farms
But when I found out this channel I started making more and more cakes and Ann I tried your giant magnum and it turned out to be amazing plz keep on inspiring others for baking more and more with your marvelous (sorry if I said that wrong I'm not a native speaker) creations. All the best for your new year for making lots of new videos
Happy New Year Sai I'm so glad that you loved the giant magnum 😀
Your english is great! :D

As an native english speaker you were great. If you like Ann that much consider becoming a patron of her on Patreon and donate money so she can make even more videos.

Can you do a how to make fudge? I see a lot of “quick fudge” recipes around but I don’t think it’s the same! I’d love for you to do a video about different ways to make fudge (eg, w powdered chocolate vs chocolate chips, different flavors, etc)
omg yes
I totally agree that it’s not the same as regular fudge...but my fast fudge recipe is just powdered frosting and melted peanut butter. An excellent quick gift, but not quite as tender as regular fudge.
Fudge sounds great
@@chihirorocks I have never heard of powdered frosting though...
I think a comparison of all the different ways to make fudge would be cool!
Side note: That cherry sauce (mixed cherries+jam+whole cherries) can be used as a sauce on something called Kaiserchmarrn - it's a traditional austrian sweet meal and it is something like thicker, smaller pieces of crepes.
That sounds delicious!
It's called "Kaiserschmarrn" :) and yes, it's quite popular to have a fruit sauce to go with it, traditionally made out of plums, but it can also be apricots, cherries, apple sauce, or anything else you like.
@@fedupwithusernames Yeah yeah, that's what I meant (auto correct is really weird sometimes) :D

I keep forgetting it’s mid day or morning in some places and I’m like “dang why is this video being uploaded at 3am?” 😂
i think its 9pm in Australia right now
@@siriustargirl 8:23pm at this moment, 7:30pm when I upload 😀
hahahahahha yeah for me it was 1:30 i think, i was like ALRIGHT the new years celebrations are over, time to go to bed.... anne: are you sure about that...?
The video came out at: 9 pm, here where I lived, so I could watch it when I got up, I appreciate it 🙂🙏
What is even more astonishing is "how is she talking about cherries? God, it's freezing outside!"
3:38 The butter melted! It's always incredible to see the tiny details that show a person is truly passionate for their craft when they, as Tom Scott said, remember the beautiful but unnecessary details.
Me: Getting late. Well I better get to bed.
Anne: let’s talk about chocolate and cherries.

You should really do a Queen Ann's version of Queen Anne's chocolate covered cherries 😁
Yes! I'd love to see something like that. My grandma adores those and it'd be so cool to be able to make em myself for a birthday present or something.
Sending virtual hugs to anyone who needs it ☺️😁😊
Thank you 💕

No but the way you scrape everything so cleanly is so soothing.... No wastage at all!!
Now that's as fresh as it gets! Cherries and chocolate are such a *berry* lovely combination!
Sometimes I don’t look at the video or pay attention to what you say, I just listen. It’s peaceful.
Hey Ann! Hope u hv a sweet year!!
Perfect video for the first day of 2020. This season has been a great season for cherries and this is a recipe I'll try. Thanks
awesome, I think you'll love it 🍒
I like how it’s a desert with multiple elements but all has a theme
I love your videos because it’s not just a recipe with a voice over, there’s trial and error and I find this experimentation fun and interesting!!

Your finished product is always so lovely. I love that you use whole and practical ingredients. When there’s a simple way of doing thing, you use that method. When there isn’t, you always explain why something must be done in a more arduous fashion. You’re a great teacher.
I love baking and cooking and you helped me learn a lot of things about food otherwise I would kill my friends and family by food poisoning
So , thank you 😊
That's a PERFECT dessert, it's literally got everything in it, the indulgent ganache, that light light mousse, that fluffy light cake, those crunchy choc-coated cookie bits and that delicious All-natural cherry sauce, it's one of the most well designed desserts I've ever seen!
Starting out on a yummy and wholesome note!

Oh, this makes me eager for spring! Just a few more months and this area will be abloom with blossoms. 🌸
What a delicious and unique looking dessert. Also, Australian cherries look next level!
THESE ARE SOOO DELICIOUS!!! Definitely as a baker myself I would recommend this recipe....if you don't like cherries raspberries work just fine...only 1 thing to keep an eye on is that raspberries can go soft a little bit faster than cherries so keep an eye on them.
Thank you Ann for this delicious recipe
i like the cherry pitting tips! cherry season is summer, right? i can make this in July in the northern hemisphere? LOL
yeah you can! I'm also loking forward to making that one, my mouth is watering already!

I use flash frozen cherries. You can get a big bag from the shops for a fraction of the price of fresh and they're great for jams and baking.
Does anyone else like the video before watching just because you know Ann is the best??

Hi!! My name is Wil, and I’ve watched your videos for a few years now, they’ve helped me through a lot. I make cakes for my friends and family all the time, but I’m allergic to food dye, so I never get to eat any. I was wondering if you could make a video trying out natural dyes in cakes, frosting, and fondant? I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much for all of the lovely content that you provide!!! 💖

Happy New Year from Croatia dear Ann!!
Watching your video was far better than the fireworks show I saw yesterday

I have so much trust in this channel's recipes. I feel confident i can recreate them with these thorough instructions
I'm not even a quarter way in and I've learned four different methods for removing the pits of cherries.
I love that even she knows there are only so many ways to say Bake until a skewer inserted comes out clean, and the much more fun and obvious way to tell if the cake is ready, 'Bake until you smell the cake!'
ready to start my year by watching ann at 3 am 😎

“Welcome to How to cook that I’m Dan Beardon”
Just came from there!
This is not just food, it's straight up art. :)
Ok, so, important question for all your fans in the northern hemisphere: Can we make this with frozen cherries or do they have to be fresh?
It should work with frozen cherries.
Yes it will i see no reason why it shouldnt
Why does northern hemisphere matter?
@@rapa2894 It's winter in the northern hemisphere, so good luck finding fresh cherries up there right now.
For most of the recipes, frozen will do fine. However, I'd skip the cherry on top because any cherry that looks fresh right now will have been preserved using chemicals. If you want the visual appeal, top it with a KitKat stick or cherry cream truffle instead.
Wishing you and your family a happy and safe 2021. Thank You for helping keep us sane in 2020.
I'm sorry but the tweezers look like you're operating on something 😂
