I find it interesting that a lot of these boutique hiking and backpacking brands that were popular years ago are seeing a resurgence in the tacticool shooting community. These are a top tier brand. I also love my 5.11 jeans. Kind of a hybrid stretch jean material with extra hidden pockets, doesn't really stand out like tactical pants, doesn't scream I'm carrying a gun.

I’m all for high quality pants, especially if durable and have some stretch/give, but have to say my attention was on that 4Runner. TRD stripes look good on it 👍

The company also makes a garment called a Vidda Pro (Ventilated) which is available in the same colors. It's quality gear. I recently bought a pair of Montane Mission pants to fulfill the same purpose, in that I can get out there in winter without feeling like a tactical airsoft mental patient, especially at my age of 54.
I went back and watched your older video on gloves, and next time you are near the Uk/EU have a nose at a pair of the Direct Action - Hard gloves. PIG's are hard to find in the UK but I have to say these Polish firearms gloves are top-notch regarding fit for use with firearms.
I have a suggestion for those wanting to avoid the huge bill associated with Arc'teryx LEAF, and that has a look at the PCS thermal undershirts used by the British military, that are sold new on the open market. Get one and it makes you think twice about buying some of the more expensive Gucci gear. And needless to say, it's been a standard issue British uniform so it's available in black, olive, and navy blue for all the branches. There's your decent tip of the day!
I use quite a lot of Clawgear uniforms and their Raider pants are quite good. Combat shirts, combat pants, softshell jackets, I use quite a lot of their stuff. The Police and others commonly use their gear in the UK along with others we won't go into! There's plenty of their gear you could review.
I really like the Vertx Delta Stretch pants (not the LT version). They’re comfortable and don’t scream tactical.

Love those pants - been using the green variant of the KEB paints for training for years (they are one of the few brands whose sizing fits tall/lanky dudes - I'm 6'5 - 200, and most stuff doesn't fit well). For my work (attorney at a large office), I wear Prana pants because they are even less "tacticool", but are still very functional.

I heard trousers, Switzerland, and 3 season, realized they were out of my price range and bought another pair of vertx. They remind me of a rich version of the discontinued magpul ones I grabbed for like $20 a few years back

Fjällräven "Vidda pro pants" is the best ever. Mine is almost 6 years old and still lookes pretty new, Ive used them heavily every year in hikes in all sorts of terrain(forrest,mountains) and weather, they are not waterproof but if you treat them with Fjällräven Greenland wax and put several layers with wax you will come pretty close to waterproof/windproof(It will be a bit stiff in the begining after the wax treatment but it will were off and the stiffness go away). I live in Sweden and the weather can be very unforgiving if you are not prepared. Thats why we have a sayin "there is no bad weather just badly dressed people", and that's why alot of people owns Fjällräven products in the north especially Norway, Sweden, Finland. They are expensive but not overpriced, if you follow the washing label and mayby treat them with wax now and then they will probably last 10+ years before you will have to do a massive repair service on them. So when you see the price tag remember that these are not "buy and throw away" pants after a year of use, but stylish branded workhorse pants that will last for MANY years.
If you are looking to pick up a pair of Fjallraven pants, and want to have integrated kneepads like your Crye or UF PRO, checked out their hunting trousers line (especially the Lappland Hybrid Trousers)
Call me unimaginative if you want, I still like TRU-Spec pants. They've got the full-blown "tacticool" pants if you want, and have much more civilian friendly ones too. I really like their Ascent pants. Works fine with a 1.75" carry belt, good pockets, but easily passes as regular cargo pants. Wear 'em with white New Balance sneakers to complete the perfect programmer dad disguise.

The 5.11 Defender Flex series are a slept on pair of jeans that aren't really anything unique except that they have two spare pockets that are meant for small EDC items as well as a reinforced waistline. The 5.11 logo is very small and no one is going to notice it. Top tier jeans, I've been rocking them to work for well over a year now with no major issues. They're also very comfortable.

as a big man, 5.11 is the only brand that fits me really well. I prob have 8 pairs of various pants and 5 shorts from them. Love them
Not slim enough for me, so it looks like I'm wearing baggy pants. Love the extra pockets though, just wish they were slimmer.

I’m going to check these out. For now I wear the KIUI attack pants. They stretch, vent, and have the softest brushed inside fabric. They are warm when wet , dry fast, and are pretty tough. You guys ever try them?

I have two pairs of Fjallraven pants and they are goth great quality and great material. I love the cotton and polyester blend that can be waxed. I’m surprised you didn’t mention that feature. They are very durable and can be rewaxed for extra water resistance. I have thick thighs and butt. I wish they had a slightly more fuller cut in those areas, they are very comfy standing up, but squatting and lunging can sometimes be an issue for me even with the stretch panels.
Stretchy cargo pants, Amazon basics one is pretty good. I have a few for work.
Just got some Enfin Leve and Acronym pants that are super nice and durable but extra comfortable. More comfortable and more pockets than my crye g3 all weather, g3 and g4 pants. Also were more than double the price over real crye g3 pants.
I love my Fjallraven Barents pro pants. They are excellent pants.

I love my fjallraven pants. They are extremely durable and look brand new. I have 4 pairs now. My favorite are the Sormland Insulated for winter and I got a non-insulated for summer, they look good and are simple. I have the Vida Pros as well for my first pair ever and they still look brand new. It's nice because this fabric they use is very durable, yet soft and comfortable. I love arcteryx and I have a lot of their stuff too but in my opinion Fjallraven has great pants and arc has better jackets and shells and stuff. Love combing these companies they compliment one another well.

I was watching this video and called it just before you said it.
I didn't recognize the pants in black. But I've been trying to find pants that fit without alterations and I excluded these for me on account of the crotch limiting hip mobility.
As for doing gun stuff I think the company does contract with the swedish military, but I don't know much of the specifics.

I'm still looking for slim tactical jeans that taper skinny toward the ankle. Just want extra pockets for extra edc things. All the Tactical jeans I've tried are still baggy and not fashionable.

You didn't even mention the biggest PRO of Fjallraven, they will repair any of their clothes for LIFE! The main reason you buy Fjallraven is to keep their clothes forever. Also you didn't mention the hook at the bottom of the cuffs to attach to your laces on your boots to keep to pants over your boots. Also why didn't you put the name Fjallraven in the title? People searching for reviews on those pants will come across your video.

I keep trying to get friends/family to get a pair but I just get weird looks bc of the separation of colors with the pockets.
With that said, spent $245 on a black pair in 2017/8 and there's literally not a single sign of wear or tear. Bought a less "tactical" color soon after, when Backcountry had a sale.
FWIW they are *not* considered light by hiking "experts" standards, although I can vouch for the exact opposite being true - so be forewarned you may be dissuaded down the road, if/when you decide on getting a pair.
