Hi there, my name is Eero Westerberg and I am the head coach of VAHVA Fitness. My specialty lies in mixing the Western and Eastern knowledge of health and fitness together into a combination that actually works, is proven and produces real tangible results.
I developed my methods by studying health & wellness and strength & conditioning for over a decade and by working as a professional in the field for over 6 years. Together with my training partner Samuli, we also traveled the world for over 4 years researching different ancient methods of strengthening and taking care of the human body.
Our programs and courses are well praised and endorsed by countless personal trainers, teachers and coaches, PhDs in physical therapy, physiotherapists, martial artists, recreational and professional athletes and many others just to name a few.
Although our training goes deeper than the surface and offers unique ways of developing the body and realizing one's potential, we also have complete beginners starting out with our methods.
It doesn't matter whether you are in the beginning or at advanced stages in your physical journey, sky is the limit for all of us and we all want to look better, feel better and most importantly move better.

I know you get loads of questions, but I am a bit stuck in a problem: had to remove a part of my inside meniscus... WHat exercises would you recommend for someone who is almost 50, but want to remain active all the time? I thank you in advance.
      All the best.

I do this for 5 min a day after waking up to get some juices flowing, great exercise. Going in all kinds of directions and even on the balls of my feet. Love it.

Jack Dempsey (old time boxer)would train like this in a shed(small house) made low for him to stay in low position , this is very good exercise

Eero, I think this is very nice. It has given me a bigger idea about how our body works at different level above ground. I never thought of it before. Thank you for sharing 👍

There is something similar to this in Northern Praying Mantis style kung-fu training, called monkey walk. With the monkey walk, the knee comes all the way to the floor with each step. The hips are low and the torso is completely upright. In addition, the opposite hand alternately comes up in an upright throat-grab (hand in C-shape with thumb and forefinger at the top, like you're holding a cup) type movement as you walk. You are always low to the ground, moving at constant height, instead of moving up and down as you walk. It is quite difficult.

I use a hand vacuum to clean the house, and vary between bigfoot and duckwalk to reach the ground. It looks funny, but my legs feel really capable nowadays.

If you ever walked in a heavily forested area with a lot of brushes. You find yourself in this position a lot.
