(filmed mainly on gopro hero 9 black, also drone and sony a7iii)
Hey and welcome to the channel if ur new!
So i spent a bunch of time underwater last year and was lucky enough to see some amazing moments underwater. Some moments really are etched into my memory and im anxious to travel and go see more of the ocean across the world! All of the footage was filmed with the gopro hero 9 black, sony a7iii and a dji drone and edited/colour graded in davinci resolve 17!!!
Unfortunately even at a remote island like here, there is a bunch of plastic floating around in the ocean, and its just not right. Something needs to change, but also theres gradual change happening in parts of the world to a more healthy lifestyle and hope i can help even a little so that the future ocean is cleaner and has less plastics,,,

Beautiful, love it. When you are filming with the Hero 9 are you filming in 1080 60fps with boost enabled? I find sometimes when I enable boost the footage is somehow less stable. Wondering if you have found the perfect settings for the best quality footage?
Thank u so much! I usually film 2.7k/60 or 4k/30 and have boost on when its available, i think that the boost mode really struggles in lower light conditions so it might be that? I have a couple videos going over my most used settings on the channel but the perfect settings usually depend on the situation!
@@RyutaOg thanks! Any particular reason you like 2.7 60 and 4k 30? If you filmed 4k 60 the slow motion quality would be the highest quality I would think. Id say you are right about struggling in low light its a shame about that. Well your videos are beautiful! Happy filming and enjoy this beautiful earth friend ❤ 🌎
@@dinnersat630 mainly cos my laptop cant handle editing 4k/60 and usually i upload to youtube in 1080. 2.7k gives me a little room to crop without losing too much quality and my laptop wont crash on me haha

Hey, I have a couple questions about the GoPro hero 9. Does The Max have to have a case to go underwater? And also do you have to have a camera stabilizer to make it look good?
Hey!
So the hero 9 and gopro max are different cameras! The hero 9 is waterproof till 10m without a case and the max is waterproof till 5m without a case!
And as long as u have hypersmooth on boost mode and gopd lighting the stabilization is really good! If u wanna add extra stabilization then u can use davinci resolve to do that, there is a video on my channel explaining how to do that if ur interested.

@@Kepgolf they kind of have different purposes! if u wanna shoot 360 degrees and have more creativity then the max is great. From the hero 9 u will get better video quality and a more compact camera! So yeh both are good but mostly depends how u will be using the camera :)
