Hey all, we have taken on feedback from the freediving community and re-uploaded this video since completing our wave one training with Jack and the amazing team at "Free diving FNQ" - if you're ever up in Far North Queensland and would like to learn how to free dive safely and comfortable to maximise your time in the water and take incredible underwater photos we encourage you to check out the molchonovs movement here: www.freedivefnq.com/
Hi Anna and Jake. Thx for sharing your expertise. Clearly a video to view and review at will. Great tasks distribution, Jake talks and Anna does the model. I like the ton used to relate the technical details as well, it helps actually a lot to make the things more understandable. As many of your vids, you both provide “daily tips” to make videos easily and that is the point! Around 4.00am here in France, I am an early person, best time to appreciate a video since all around is quiet. Take care.
Hi Jake and Anna. Did see that video again today. As fyi Gopro Light ZEUS MINI is waterproof until 10 meters..😇 this may be not enough for you 😂With underwater photos we see that knowledge of the place is essential, of course, combined with the weather and the brightness of the moment. So you really have to do some scouting to find the right places where to actually take the photo, as clearly explained in the video therefore ACT LIKE a professional and not like someone on vacation... This work can take a significant time not sure that the average vacationer will make this effort even if it is critical to have photos that stand out. Another demonstration that this profession is also an art despite a mastery of the equipment used.😉
Has your dome ever been scratched from the case its in? I had mine for a week and there are scratched all over the center and It was only in the case it came with...
Really great pictures 👏 I had the first go pro (then the Hero 2, 4 and 5) and I made my first underwater shots in 1996 in Mauritius but this GoPro 10 is awesome 👌 best cinematic greetings from a small german UA-cam filmmaker 😂
Hi Jake! Nice video as always. I have a question, I know you said you don’t use red filters or so, but do you recommend modifying white balance inside GoPro? Like going more for the reds or so?
@@JakeRichandAnnaChah Will try it out, what about pictures, is there a difference in quality of pictures, if u take frames out of video versus photo mode and burst?
@@JakeRichandAnnaChah but from some other people's reviews that the gopro 11 heats up more easily, then the device shuts down. have you ever experienced something like that?

We keep the white balance on auto, have never changed it for any of our underwater shots, all edits in our workflow are done in post production :)
Kool!!!! Liked#8 !!!
Lovely
thanks Goharn :)
Is there some good iphone app for editing, with same results as pc editing?
Depends, for photos of course. Lightroom mobile 🤘🏽 for videos, it’s a bit trickier
@@JakeRichandAnnaChah Will try it out, what about pictures, is there a difference in quality of pictures, if u take frames out of video versus photo mode and burst?
Just realized the change in channel name, Noice 🙂
what orientation do you used in dome? portrait or landscape? thank you
Depends on your photos - you can use it in both ways 💫
@@JakeRichandAnnaChah i will try portrait next 🙂
how about dji osmo action 3?
I don’t recommend as it doesn’t offer burst mode and only shoots 12MP photos

Is this a repost? Either that or I dreamed this entire video already lmao
It was all a dream :) haha, yes, we re-uploaded the video as we had to make some edits to the original upload
Are photos better taken using the photo mode than grabbing a frame on a video?
