A sus is right and D because you get rid of the third. However the rest are ADD 2 because the 3rd is still there. I.e. adding the d to an open c chord, is add 2 because the E is still there.
hey Dr. Groovy, sus2 should be without the 3rd. If you have the third and the ninth (2nd) that would what ever the chord is add nine, ex Aadd9 or it could be minor Amadd9.
@@groovydjs It does, just for nerds in case they want to know the correct names. Your intros and outros are cool too, keep them coming and thanks for all the lessons.
@@_-Skeptic-_ I didn't think anybody was noticing those at all. lol I've made a shit ton of them and sometimes don't think it's worth my time putting them in there...but, if you want them, I'll keep doing them. CHEERS!
Simply brilliant, Scott! Thanks very much for all these Groovy lessons!
My pleasure!
Great lesson (and title) Scott. Realized I throw these in quite a bit, nice to know what they're called.
I hoped someone would "GET" the title. lol
Its a little thing that makes a real big difference. Dresses up a song and makes a picker look talented. Thank you!
You make it sensible. Great lesson Mr. Groovy!
Thank you kindly!
Thanks Scott! You are a great teacher.
Glad you think so! I am glad to do what I can for y'all. Take care my old friend.
Great lesson, Scott! Yeah, Scott, everyone rushes for the home run and always skip the other bases
Exactly! Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the....um, roses.
@@groovydjs Lol that's right now
I love you Dr Groovy ❤
Right back at ya!
Nice! It kind of adds a sense of urgency to the music. As always, groovy!😎
Thanks for listening!
Dsus2 is one of my favorite chords. I wrote a song called "Grumpy" that uses that one a lot. Csus2 is good too.

Will you put a how to video? Play finger picking pattern for Blues. Man, Hank Williams junior.
hey Scotty, what happened to the awesome collection? the Strat plus's etc, I have an 87 plus Fiesta red. cheers NZ
Howdy, I sold everything off. We are downsizing and getting ready for the old age thing.
Does over the shirt squeezing count as second base?
Sure thing, as long as you can do that and play guitar at the same time. A lot of hammer ons should provide you some time to do the other.

But...it sounds cool.
