Thanks for watching and commenting!! It’s so much fun researching and learning the various makers and their history. I love a good research rabbit hole lol.
Hey thanks! That means a lot. “Cool funky fresh” is an awesome compliment for my finds. Definitely so encouraging!! More to come. Again thank you so much!!
Cathrineholm lotus bowl set with NO chips??? Wow, wow, wow. The tall green pitcher goes well with the pink, blue, orange. It’s a great complimentary piece.
I wish I had a slightly bigger house so I could keep some of these finds!! I need maybe like additional 2000sq ft no big deal !! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!
Aww thanks. Yes I plan on including my horse in videos. I think it’ll be fun to get her opinion on various vintage stuff. The chickens always show up when I film too. I think they want to be on camera.
Literally give. I went to a sale the other day and picked out two drinking glasses with geese on them. Probably 1970s. The guy said “oh just take those they ain’t worth anything” I couldn’t do it. Had to give him something. I mean he brought the stuff out and put on the table. He hung out in his yard waiting for strangers to show up. Lol.
Awww hey thanks. I love glass too!! Don’t know what it is, but it’s fun to collect, research and sell to someone else who also loves it. I can remember being a little kid and just staring at all the stuff in my grandmothers china cabinets like “wow nan has so much treasures” I think that’s where it all started. She noticed me staring at it often enough, that decades later she left me a bunch of it when she passed. It was pretty cool. I need more china cabinets honestly lol!! Thanks for watching and commenting. More to come.
Lol yeh if your mouth was a weird shape and you could get a good seal on the top. It’d be a stunner!! Thanks for watching and cracking me up!! (Also I’m not now sitting here thinking about how to best cut the top off a swung vase.)
Just found your channel ~ enjoy your enthusiasm for glass & learning more about it. Glad you beat Joe to the vase, and congrats on picking up more subscribers! You're genuine & that always attracts people 😊
Hey thanks, yeh Joe is an early bird and usually beats me to the sales. Great guy, owes me lunch lol. Thanks for your encouragement, it mean a lot. I love researching and learning. Any excuse for tucking in with coffee and scholarly pursuits.
Yes yes, the weather helped too. Both days were high 70s and sunny! I’m sure some of that stuff would not have been out had it been rainy. Thanks a bunch for watching and commenting!!
WOW! Awesome finds. This past weekend, I had a guy run after me at a yard sale. I was getting in my car after making my purchases and he called out, stopped me, ran up and asked if I had purchased a specific item. I said yes and he offer to buy it for $40 (I had paid $10). I knew I had found a good item. I think I can get $90 + for a vintage shell clock.
Rock on!!! I was that guy once. Missed out on vase by moments. I asked the lady who bought if she’d take double what she paid but she was on to me in heartbeat. She gave me the side eye and sternly said a very long “noooooo”. I didn’t press further. I got scared lol. Thanks for sharing that story and best luck selling it too!!
Hello UK I hope to visit one day and ride a horse there. Sometimes when the weather is just right I pretend I live there!! I’m learning as I go and thankfully have found some decent pieces to learn from. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
You are really a great researcher with a vocabulary. You must pay attention to all things and have a good photographic memory. You have a great treasure hunting future. Good luck from an old fart antique dealer.
I have a terrible memory lol. Without notes I’m a fish on the dock. My mother was a reference librarian with a great vocabulary so I owe that skill and researching skills to her. Thanks so so much for all your comments, encouragement and watching!!
Great finds! UK viewer here. You tube suggested you to me a couple of videos ago. Like your style. Listening with headphones though - took me a good five minutes to discern that the odd clucking noises were coming from the video and not my immediate surroundings! 😂
Hahaha yes I need to mention I have chickens more often so folks know what they’re hearing. It’s thrown a couple people off. There is also a horse occasionally snorting in the background too. I swear none of those noises are coming from me.
Liz, you’re doing great! Wow can’t believe you found such great stuff. Be sure to list the swing vase for its value! I hope you’re having fun going to sales and learning more about glass. Do you get the adrenaline rush when you find something good? I miss going to sales but maybe sometime soon I’ll be back at it. Enjoy your channel. Take care, Jan
Thanks Jan, I would say there is a definite rush followed immediately by second guessing myself lol. You could check EstateSales.net to see if there are local online garage sales. You place bids and then pick up the items, usually the day after the sale ends. Thanks again Jan for watching!
Hello, new subscriber from North Carolina. Love your video and WOW, such great items! My favorite is the Catherineholm dish and the green square bottle.
Agreed, those and the Fenton vase are my favorites from the sales. I also like green glass planter by Indiana glass. Tempted to keep it. I mean, there are a lot listed soooo maybe I’ll just hold…..Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Hi!! I wrap the item like a burrito, with bubble wrap, the big bubbles. Tape that so the item cannot slip out of the bubble wrap when being removed from the box. To cushion the item in the box, I use newspaper or paper bags torn in half or bubble wrap from a local business who sets it aside after they receive items. I try to use eco friendly bubble wrap and reuse bags and packing materials to not create more waste. I try to ship in the usps priority boxes because they are made from recycled materials. I have a video about packing large glass which goes into it a bit further. Thanks so much for watching and asking question!!
It’s always more interesting to watch someone when they know their stuff and want to learn more. Thanks for sharing.

What's your tip for packing glassware? Thx
