@@DeathfromAboveWargaming sorry I cant find where I saw it now but I want to say there was a recent announcement of a tournament pack for alpha strike balanced for 350
@@DeathfromAboveWargaming The Wolfnet Radio Podcast has put together what they are calling their 350 Format tournament pack. The idea is you put together a 350 PV force, and then play 200PV scenarios drawing from that pool.
The basic restrictions are a max of 16 units. No mech variant may be chosen twice, max of two of each chassis. You may select up to 2 of the same variant/chassis for BA and Vehickes.
Their tournament pack also comes with scenarios designed around competitive play.
The tournament pack can be found here. wolfsdragoons.com/alpha-strike-army-construction-rules/
Would be very interesting to see you guys try your hand at the list building side of this. There are a lot of hard choices to make while putting together your list.
Thanks! Will take a look. 200PV should get Kevin about 2 mechs 😁
@@DeathfromAboveWargaming Yes it really forces you to make tough choices, encourages combined armed arms. I was surprised you guys did not know about it as you're both connected to Aries games these days.
I think there would be the potential for some great content, what with list building and bat reps. You guys and Wolf Net are putting out some of the best Battletch around and seeing you guys help push this tournament format would be awesome.
This sounds very familiar to something I sent you for the Patreon contest. 👀
OC vs Wolf has always been on the docket! 🙂
@@DeathfromAboveWargaming Well then you might like my submission. I set it up for a narrative campaign versus a one-off. 😉
🙂
So only mechs with the "OMNI" ability can act as battle armor carriers (unless the BA has the "XMEC" ability). Those second-line clan mechs don't have that ability and lose some of their shine as a result. The Baboon unfortunately falls under that less shiny category.
Oh snap you are right! Still a good 20 pointer to round out a force, but forgot it isnt an Omni!
Spoiler:
A clan victory...a sad day indeed...
Are you guys fucking kidding with these ads? I just got ad blocker because of your channel
