Battlemaster living up to its name. The Wolverine as well, it was just as tenacious as its namesake. Also, the first issue of the Shrapnel Battletech magazine has a good story about the aftermath of the Clan Wolf conquest of the Oberon Confederation.
This is was a really balanced match, I could have seen it going either way actually which is surprising considering one lance is completely assaults and the other is just a hodgepodge. Not being able to use the long/extreme range really hurt the oberon.
Oof! Losing that Atlas really changed up the game in Aaron's favor, though it ended up being really close! Think of it this way though, that Wolverine pilot may have lost his mech but the salvage and prestige he gets for that Atlas kill more than makes up for it! "Somebody promote this man!" Seriously fun watch as I paint up my remaining mechs while I await my Kickstarter stuff! Can't wait to see how you all incorporate them Clans into your games! Keep up the great work gentlemen!

Hey - thanks! They are geared for Dark Age (3100ish) tech and chassis - we picked this for two main reasons: first we didn’t want any overlap with the Kickstarter mechs, and second it gives players a foot into the latest ilClan era!
Yes - though I would expand and say they are good with AS in general. Let me if you see anything specific to our optional rules that breaks them more. Am definitely interested in ideas to knock them down a peg. Definitely a TMM thing imo. Even under RAW AS, at point-blank a skill 3 pilot on hits them barely more than half the time. In CBT it is very difficult to get that +4 target mod without moving grossly out of position.
I’ve played a few of your missions and fast movement seems to be very valuable in them, rather then the rush the table edge or center killfests that come with the AS books

Nice report. Those 2 shots in the rear arc seemed to be pretty critical during the game. I think the split force idea would be definitely better.

I loved that short story. It's a really nice call-back to a mission in MW2: Mercenaries, which I don't think was canon before that story.

Mix of places - Outland models makes a lot of Z scale stuff you can use, ebay and even etsy have some niche stuff.

A few places - the buildings are Outland Models Z scale, some stuff is from X-Marx, some is home made. The battlemats are from PWork or Deep Cut!
