“Especially when they refer to me as Jacksepticeye” While I did laugh, it also made me feel angry that so many people are willing to scam others with emotional pleads that I am sure have fooled others before.
I have had this account for around 7 years and I can count on one hand the times I commented. But I want to say it is people like me who genuinely appreciate your moral stance. There are hundreds of thousands of people who never comment, rate or otherwise interact with your videos but keep watching because of your character and your content. You'll always see the vocal minority bashing you for not taking these gambling deals etc, but please keep in mind that we really like you for not taking these kinds of promotions, nor making sneaky product placements or other bad things I can't think of right now. And believe me if I say I hold a much higher opinion of you than many others in the CSGO youtube scene. In the end, money can't buy you reputation. Thanks again and have a good day Philip!
I'v only commented like 3 time combined on all the kliksphilip accounts, I don't even play CS:GO but i go out of my way to watch all of his videos either because it's good background noise with smooth voice or genuinely interesting things.
Yeah, same here. I'm not much of a commenting? kind of guy, but I feel like on these ocasions it's worth it. Trust me, one day the gambling sites will run out of people to scam, the interest in skins and CSGO will dwindle eventually, and in the end, the inmoral risk of making teenagers and other people lose it all on the promise of a few fancy pixels won't be a burden on you. I'd rather have a clean soul, than a dirty consciousness.
I don’t know whether it is funny or sad when people get angry at you, when you tell them that they misused your business email. I’ve been a subscriber for about 4 years now and developed such a parasocial relationship that it doesn’t feel right to go out of my way to annoy you just to let you know that I like your videos.
@@kunai1362 dude nail on the coffin means it's the final thing that kills something. I think you meant "he hit the nail on the head", which is for someone's point to be accurate
I once sent something to your business email, just got the response "not business" and I thought about sending another email to apologize but decided against it as itd just be more spam for you to deal with. Not only that, but after watching more videos I found out you'd already said something regarding what the email was about. I am sorry for misusing your business email.
Hearing you say that you read through all of your youtube comments was incredibly eye opening. It's hard to comprehend the sheer volume of communication a youtuber of your size receives in a single day. I just want to use my little slot here to say how appreciative I am of everything you've made and done here. You're a really inspiring and honest figure on this platform filled with deception and liars.
This video with this unsuspecting title really has a lot to offer. This was great genuine stuff, thank you for that. I love how you can get a real and undistorted view of what is going on espacially in the csgo business market. Anyways, ich still have 6 minuites to go but that just flew through my mind. Liebe Grüße Philip
@@albertpirelius No he doesnt speak dutch. By chance he spammed his keyboard and magically random characters appeared which just so happened to be dutch.
"Morality is an expensive vice..." Incredibly well put. I imagine myself in those same situations you actually live and I can't comprehend how difficult it must be in reality to make the choices you do, and as you say, it's not one and done - they weigh down on you constantly. If ever I find myself at similar crossroads, know that your actions will have inspired me to take the right path.
I always find these kinds of things heartbreaking. It makes me mad that there are people out there who will take advantage of you, and even accuse you of the one being in the wrong. But the worst part is how there isn't really a way to stop it from happening either. Even more disappointing is how successful some less or undeserving people are compared to someone who genuinely deserves it.
sends unsolicited mail to business email gets told politely to stop launches a tirade of racial slurs lol this guy's gotta be trolling or is just absolutely bonkers
Commenting on UA-cam always feels like throwing something into an endless void. I just cannot comprehend that every comment gets seen, let alone by one dude. I know it's like the most side note comment in the video, but it's broken me
Right? I look at the number of comments in a video and see the number 500 and think to myself 'but who has the patience to go through all 500 of those, let alone a video with 000s of comments?'
something either wheezywaiter or vlogbrothers or maybe even one of the kilks brothers said has forever stuck with me. you can tell when you've gotten big when people stop talking to you and start talking to you in comments.
He's not insane, he's just extremely insecure about every aspect of his life and projects his self-hatred onto groups of people that he feels are at the cause of all of his life's problems.
I feel like there's a couple things about annoying fans that stem from UA-cam/online. One, UA-camrs often talk as if their fanbase is their "family". While UA-camrs often do care about their audience (if even for a certain amount of them that... Simply care about nothing else other than money), it's impossible to have hundreds of thousands, or millions, of people to be your friends/family and you keep contact with them. It is, quite frankly, impossible. I think it's very difficult to be a fan with someone with countless amounts of fans, and become friends/acquaintances with them without meeting them IRL. I think that's why successful people on this platform often have UA-camr friends. Oftentimes, they can probably talk to each other about the difficult part that most people just don't seem to understand. And unfortunately, you talking with us about these things, I think, makes a lot of people feel like they're "friends" in some way, so they get some sort of special pass. On a side note: I do appreciate your videos talking about these sorts of things! It gives an extra viewpoint on what it's like being a UA-camr, and really sheds light that it isn't always just "record a thing and upload = money". I also do appreciate your views and actions on gambling. I hate gambling, quite frankly. A friend of mine learned his lesson when he lost his AWP Asimov, and I'm glad it was his most prized CS:GO skin rather than a developed lottery or casino habit. You're doing good, in that regard. Two, I don't think most people understand what it's like being a UA-camr, and thusly don't understand that misusing your business email is like calling you while you're at a workplace, on your workphone, to talk about their cat. Even if they're a friend or family, it would still be quite inappropriate.
Channels like this are like a double edge sword. On one hand, it lets the most loyal of your fanbase understand and appreciate you on another level, and you get to pull the curtains away and just, talk. But on the other hand, as you said, it can make people feel like their "friends", it only takes a small number of people to muck everything up. Clearly, the vast majority of people don't mail Philip, but at the same time, enough people do that it causes a problem.
woah, it really feels strange to suddenly realize that whatever i write to philip, he's already seen it, perhaps a dozen times; for some reason, it comforts me - it feels strangely good to know i get to enjoy being so average and irrelevant... and yeah, thanks for the video philip!
I'm legitimately scared because I don't remember if I wrote something extremely stupid sometime in the past. On either of my accounts that were subscribed to Phillip. I write a lot of comments at 6am in a sleep deprived state of delusion, and even though Phillip doesn't usually upload at those times, I still fear I may have made some unfunny/repetitive/useless comment that ultimately amounted to nothing. On the bright side, I will now carefully consider the value of each comment I make, and leave the horrible ones to the replies where they belong
@@soupisfornoobs4081 well they use to be a comment history but it got removed a few years back.. I am kinda on the same boat cause I didn’t really make any comments of value
You say you’ll read all the comments and I feel like I’m barely noticed as a human so this probably won’t be seen by many eyes. But thank you. You stand up for what you think is right and you give me hope. There are people who still care. Life is worth living to meet people like yourself. I hope you have a wonderful life wherever your future takes you.
I feel like this is a video that you have contemplated on posting multiple times. Lots of outcomes running through your head of how it will be received and what happens because of it. I really enjoyed the whole thing, gives great insight into somethings I don’t think I’d ever come across; all while being very interesting. You’re a very unique UA-camr with an unwavering moral stance on certain issues. I don’t know what decision I’d make if so much money for promoting such negative things was staring at me, but I’d like to think it’s the same as yours. Seriously thank you, and stop procrastinating here!
Fantastic video, my experience entirely. I very much relate to the "knowing my worth" part as well haha. Really great insight into day to day UA-camr life.
Think I started watching your channel back in 2013. Still probably my favorite youtuber of all time even though I've moved well past the days of playing CS for several hours daily.
You are the closest thing to a role model I have when it comes to youtube. It's nice to know before hand what hard decisions could one day come my way if I ever have the luck to make it on this website. I really respect you
I swear, every video of yours I watch, I get slightly more depressed about my future as a working adult, but somehow more accepting of the fact that working day and night won't turn you into a billionaire in your thirties.
I love you Philip. Not sexually (sure, tell yourself that...you know you do love him like that), but I just feel a deep appreciation for you. You're just a stand up guy who sticks to his values and admits his mistakes when he makes them. Also you put in a hellellalot of work which probably goes unnoticed by the vast majority of your viewers. It's great to get more insights into how you work and your thought processes. You're one of few people that I can wholeheartedly tell: Stay the way you are! Hoffentlich kommst du bald nach Frankfurt am Main!!
I'm only just seeing this video now but jeezo, if it didn't reflect a huge amount of my experience with YT/sponsorships-especially the part about nothing coming for free. As much as the money from sponsorships is now a necessity and I kinda panic thinking about when the next one might come along, it's a bit of a treat nowadays when I get to post a video without one-completely free of the pressures associated with Estimated View Counts. Anyway, yeah, loved this, thanks for making it!
I didn't think that such a serious video could come from a business email and Spyro gameplay. It's a real eye opener and has given me only admiration for what you do
Thank you for the video. Videos like this where you comment on your life as a UA-camr give a perspective I don't think you can get anywhere else. They always make my day. Keep up the good work.
As someone planning to freelance, this wasn't minor to me. It provided a very interesting insight on this side of it, so I have to be grateful to Philip for this video. Also because it's likely that, after this video, his business email will receive even more abuse
philip's videos are so relatable, that by watching them for so long I feel like I've known him for years yet i'm only following the steps of the online presence of a guy across the world, who yet still makes me feel welcomed with every video and mananges to catch my attention at even the most simple topic. btw it's 14334loss
i really watched a 19 minute video on business emails when i dont even have one myself and i enjoyed it. what is going on edit: okay i may have lied, i have a business email but i havent received a single email to it so guess i just wanted to know what it was like to actually have an audience lol
i dont even have it... the dude is just entertaining to watch... and honestly i hope he doesnt change... i mean sure he would get more money.... but i would lose another great youtuber...
I'm certanly verry impressed and admire you for turning down the gambling deals, I can say with 99% certanty that I would've taken them, you made the morally just decisions when the vast majority of people in the same situation would've done otherwise. You are one of my most beloved, respected and admired creators.
"Resentment towards humanity" I feel that way often. From badly designed products that are unusable sold to unsuspecting buyers, to companies like zoom lying about their chats being encrypted, to youtubers promoting gambling to kids, to decisions made by uninformed "people in charge" mainly motivated by money. My point is, anything that is primarily motivated by money is going to be worse that somethibg motivated by pride in ones craft, wanting to improve, wanting to be the best, love and passion for their jobs and genuinely wanting to make the world just a tad bit better by, well... Doing their job properly. The upside is, it's even more validating when you make a decent living without breaking your principles. It's a good feeling to achieve something despite people shitting on your ideals. F* em* I say!
Philip was already the most genuine person I watch actively, but this video showed a side of him that solidified it even more. at this point he's the only one on here that truly feels like a real person, like a friend, rather than an influencer.
As an aspiring youtuber with a small 2.5k subs this kind of content is great. Thank you for staying legit and wish you prosperity on the upcoming ad deals :) Huge fan! Cheers!
Its incredible to see a youtuber like you who manages to keep me interested for 20 minutes simply about your experiences using a business email. Your narrative skills and editing are on point, keep up the good work!
Phil, your turning down gambling ads is what makes you such a great youtuber. It's a mark of your moral strength. I can see how you have trapped yourself, too. As you say, by being so morally grounded, any mistake will draw hate to you. Bear in mind though, that most hateful comments on youtube should not be given much credit, no matter how painfully rude/wrong the commenters are. It is too easy to fall into the trap that positive comments are false, sourced from a twisted idolization of your personality, and negative comments come from the majority. remember that this is NOT TRUE!
He has one of the purest intentions from any CS UA-camr I know. He actually cares about his effect on his viewer, and that's just beautiful. Thank you.
I'm really sorry I couldn't comment anything meaningful. I just don't have a straight mind when commenting on UA-cam and always jumped between thoughts and deleted it all afterwards. What I can say is I really like this 'behind the scenes' stuff and am looking foward to more similarly themed content in the future.
This is my favorite video on youtube. It’s hard to explain how raw and genuine your tone is, I really just appreciate how transparent and thorough you’ve been in your youtube journey. My favorite thing to hear you talk about is when someone is such a blatant asshole you just can’t help but to give them a good look in the mirror. You really give a level of sincere insight that’s hard to find. I’ve watched this video a thousand times over the past 3 years and still can’t help but crack a smile at the Jacksepticeye line. I love your videos phillip, and while ideally you’d never sellout, you’ve done more than your part for the longest time and I wouldn’t look down on you for it. I hope one day you take the money and run. You deserve it.
Philip is such a cool dude, I knew he was a good person when he released his OCD video but this really shows how strong his morals are. Philip I respect you the most out of my subscriptions. Keep your head up and ignore the hate you get. There’s a lot more people than you think that appreciate your work❤️
I have been watching your videos for at least 2 years now and you have almost become a idol to me, heck, I even started wearing dressing gowns! Keep up the good, honest, videos. I would never use your business email to get attention from you because I respect your hard work and I would never want to get in the way of a new video. You are the only UA-camr I can say that is the best. Thanks Philip Oh, and don't promote gambling.
Isn't it kind of ironic how most of your videos consist of you choosing a topic you're interested in and or wanting to share something about and then taking every possible point of view on it to evaluate what you're getting from it or how to answer a specific question? I feel you take every step to question yourself, which I btw find very pleasing to watch, but then receive such emails from some of your fans clearly unable to do the same. Your videos always not only make me think about something from the most possible point of views, but also my own probably biased perspective on it. And since I feel you always point out that most of your conclusions are very particular to yourself and not all of your viewers, I will try to make it clear that I could be horribly wrong about what I just wrote. Isn't that great?
Thanks as always for your transparency and showing us a slice of your Youtubing life. After this and "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished", I hope you don't end up a broken, jaded man for being challenged at every step of trying to be successful differently. If it means anything, it seems we lot are thankful and appreciative of you.
The lack of respect people can have for others is infuriating at times. You make free entertainment for everyone that is very high quality, and rarely include baked-in ads, yet people still want more...
It’s like a effect (forgot the name of) where the dumber people are the smarter they think they are and it’s kinda like this where the worse someone is the better people think they are not with all cases but still
It is interesting to see you replying to all sorts of comments regardless of the video/release date/comment context. It is unbelievable really. Too many half a million channels o UA-cam can't keep up with their comment sections while you can keep up a mil, a 600k and a 300k sub channels. Thank you for doing this.
Philip, thank you for never taking these ads. I was very young when I started watching your videos, about eleven years old. I didn't watch many csgo youtubers at the time, you were one of the only csgo youtubers I did watch. I started to trust your judgment from a very young age, and I do believe if you did take any of these sponsorships it could have very well pushed me to go through with it. If it wasn't for you and warowl speaking out against it, I might be a very different person now. You did good by avoiding these sponsorships, because I know it could have very well pushed me to do it if you would have gone through with it. Thank you.
Honestly, I have never realised the potential effects of your theoretical gambling ads. While mostly I think people should get their money up, never thought about how impressionable kids are if they are REALLY into a youtubers content. I've been following you for such a long time now, and throughout the years I always looked up to you. Your creative output has even pushed me to a more creative road as well thus looking back I am 90% sure if a person as you, a person I looked up to at 14-16 years of age, promoted gambling to me in a positive light, I would most likely fall into gambling much deeper than I have. Thanks for looking out for us younger nerds Philip
Thanks! People only see the money involved but don't realise this is my life work I'm making and putting ads on, and it isn't worth tarnishing that for short-term gain when my dream, once I have all the money in the world ... Is to make the same content I do now but without the ads.
Hey Philip, I don't comment on many videos, but I just want to tell you that your videos have been really helpful to me. I never would have thought that watching someone talk about a video game I've never even played would end up leading to seeing so much insightful stuff. In particular, your game development stuff on 2kliksphilip, the mid development hell vid in particular, have been really helpful in getting me to actually work on my projects to conclusion, even when I start to lose hope. I won't give you my sob story, neither of us really need that, but I'm just really thankful for all you do, and wish you the best going forward.
If you advertise something, you are now a shareholder of that product. You make money directly off of the prospect of that product succeeding. It is important to never advertise something malicious or wrong.
There was a small part of me that wanted to send a little positive message to your business email while watching this, and at that exact moment was when you talked about people mis-using your address for non-business related things. So I'll just say I appreciate all the stuff you do here on UA-cam. Even with a mundane topic like business emails you find a way to make it interesting and I really appreciate that.
Love these videos about the management aspects of youtube. It is fascinating to hear about promotions and MCNs from someone who is part of them. It is really eye-opening as well to hear about gambling promotions from the perspective of the youtuber. Even if what these people are doing is wrong, I can't say I wouldn't do the same given the opportunity. Of course, the potential for self-hatred could be enough to drive me away. It is a matter of priorities I guess--money vs. ethics. It reminds me of BIll Gates's situation in a way. He engaged in many anti-consumer, cutthroat business practices as the head of Microsoft, but ultimately put all of that money towards philanthropy. Does the philanthropy justify his cruel action? This is even less cut and dry with these sponsorships as they are taking money from people who the money will make a great difference to. Either way, utmost respect for upholding your principles. In my opinion, the real cowardice is falling for the safety and immediate benefit of profit rather than holding onto moral standards and being respected in the future. I truly sincerely hope that being the good guy works out for you (and everyone who chooses that path).
@@kliksphilip but to be honest the richer you get the less you’ll give away I mean Jeff bezos WAS the richest person in the world but out of a lot of the billionaires he gave the least
Dear Kliksphillip, I have been following your videos for a while now and I have never commented or said anything so far. However I want to thank you, for posting videos the way you do. You stay true to yourself and dont just jump on any bandwagon that offers the biggest amount of money. Even when taking the moral high ground you stay polite and offer your perspective on the subject matter, instead of saying "I'm right, you're wrong". In the end, what I want to say, thank you for being you and keep up the excellent work. I hope you read this. Have a fantastic day
Finally, after binge watching your kliksphilip videos for the last three days i've decided to comment!!! i love your videos and i feel like im watching a snippet out of a book about your life maybe? every video is more interesting that the last one and i just can't stop. Hidden gem you are man. Thank you. Hope you have a nice new years eve!!
jesus man, this is a lot of suffering do stay strong, keep your moral up, regardless of how people treat you.. what matters is that you were strong for yourself, not how others view you
Glad to hear you read the comments; just wanted to say that I really appreciate your videos. Pretty much everything you post across all channels interests me in some way or another, whether it's CS, game dev, UA-cam, technology, or anything else (even if I don't expect it; I've started juggling now because of your videos). I really like how honest and genuine you are with videos like these; the line "look mum, I've made it" really resonated with me in this one. Keep doing what you're doing for as long as you enjoy it :)
One thing I've always wondered is how the businesses offering promotions find business emails to offer promotions in the first place. Everyone's email is probably on some sort of data-sharing list but are there ones explicitly for "business?" How much are the list people making off of companies buying lists of emails from them?
you know what, after stumbling upon this video again while checking out my favorites list, and being reminded of it sometimes at random points in my daily life, I have to say that this is probably the most memorable and human video Philip has ever made.
I'm 3:12 in, and I hate ppl who comment early, so yikes, but I literally had to pause and just say how fucking much I appreciate you not having peddled gambling sites... Like, that's truly truly impressive, and I've lost so much in skins when I was younger and bought into this shit, and it just means a lot in regards to knowing that at least not everyone can be corrupted by money, and that integrity DOES get noticed, and means so much, even in the face of you having missed out on so much fucking cash, it truly does not go unnoticed. So yeah, thanks for restoring my faith in humanity, at least a little. Your seemingly incapability to stoop so low is so rare (regarding the 💰 offered being very enticing), yet so integral to who we are as humans. Even though you're the odd duck out, that's all it takes for hope to exist
A lot of people generally associate 2 things as being as bad yes 3kliksphilip has done sponsored stuff but it’s the amount and how scummy you choose to be that determines if you are bad or not 3kliksphilip hasn’t done gambling website content and that’s pretty impressive
Great video, Philip, keep up the good work. Really made me laugh at 15:38. Ps. Long videos like these are awesome, don't know if they take more time than the other types, but yeah, this was awesome to watch.
17:14 While what you said did not deserve the response you got, you did somewhat invite it by telling the guy "You can f*** off". I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that like all humans you have a limit and that moment, maybe you had reached yours. But still, there had to be a politer way of conveying your message. Ignoring all of his emails after your very reasonable initial reply would probably have been the better option. But I'll say again, you did not deserve the hate mail that followed. That sender is one troubled person.
Thanks for making videos Philip. During this pandemic I've been on a month-long kliksphilip-bender where I marathon videos from all your channels, many of which I've seen already. Cant help myself, your videos have such a great rewatching value! Your voice, the topics you talk about, editing, music, all of it makes a perfect package, hands down you're my favourite content creator on youtube. So thanks for making videos, for all of your channels, I genuinely enjoy them.
Imagine being so desperate for attention that you sign strangers up to the BBC. I wonder how many people get BBC registrations from that one troll? lol Thanks for not advertising gambling sites. I don't think you need to feel guilty about that at all: If it's enough money to change your life forever, how many other people's lives would be changed for the worse through gambling addiction? Somehow I doubt it's large amounts of people loosing small amounts of money, rather than the opposite. Being a decent person ain't glamorous, but even if it's just entertainment your videos do improve people's lives. For one thing, I'll never forget that legendary scene of you running around a city with your keyboard. ^_^
This video is so precious. Every time I watch a kliksphilip's video, it feels like he is personally adressing *me* personally, even though I have never sent an email to the buissness email. After watching this video I was tempted to send some motivational and supportive video to Philip, but, luckily, stopped myself, because one of the purposes of this video was to stop stuff like that from happening. So I decided to do it here. Keep up the great work, Phil. Your content makes my days brighter.
I never ended up getting the Spyro Reignited trilogy, I loved the games as a kid but seeing the game get the generic Dreamworks look was a big disappointment. I also felt it would have been a better idea to remake each game one at a time, since then they could spend more time on them and polish them more, and from the looks of the gameplay in your video it looks like it could've done with it. Great video btw, it's honestly amazing how awful people on the internet can be. I upload stuff elsewhere, barely 3 views a day, but I'll always remember the first ever comment I received was 'who hurt you?' and staring at what I'd made for 30 minutes trying to figure out what I'd done to cause that kind of reaction. I then realised the guy was spamming everywhere with all sorts of horrible comments and it wasn't worth thinking about, but negative comments often find a way of being more memorable than positive ones, as sad as that is. Despite being one of the humblest and politest UA-camrs I watch, it's a shame to see even you get targeted by people who just want an excuse to show off how many racial slurs they can cram into a single paragraph. Thanks for giving us another insight into your life, it's always interesting.
There always be people who will try to get the worst or the best out of you, and I like the way you deal with it. I wish everyone would look on these the same way as you. You show a great example for every UA-camr in today's society, and I really respect you for it. Stay strong , and always keep this way of thoughts.
Couldn't you block all email from "@gmail.com" and the common free services and that would severely cut down the amount of non business emails you get. After all who looking to do business is going to use a personal email.
I feel as though you are one of the last few remaining 'original' UA-camrs. You haven't sold out and still make videos that are pure enjoyable, fun, silly and creative content. That was the magic of UA-cam when it first came out. Thanks for your awesome videos Philip!
Philip: You can't just use my business email for non business stuff 😠 Everyone else: Haha the keyboard goes brrrrrrr PS. Love your videos man keep up the good work
crikey, this video seriously struck a chord with me, as i too feel like ive been trying to process the same philosophical debate over self worth recently to some extent. what it boils down to is me thinking anything i do only for myself is masturbatory, but anything i do for others would be perceived as performance, or to inflate ego. nothing is right. or at least, it doesn't sit right within my own mind, because of course i have my own values. there are things i can do that absolutely no one else will recognise as ever happening, but the way it affects me can change the outcome, which circles around yet again to the idea of it affecting only me being masturbatory. its an incredibly viscous debate with seemingly no end, and i cant imagine how many hours you must have spent circling the same thoughts round and round in your head given that you clearly have attention on you and I don't. for what it's worth, everything you said in the video, i wholeheartedly respect, and sympathise with as sometimes it really seems like this form of human contact where your values get contested is so corrosive and toxic that it makes you wonder who the hell is sending you this shite. but then Plato comes in and defines the groundwork of justice for you (how you treat others is how you will be treated in due course) and you meet a junction, a junction of hope that that will happen and that humanity will reach this karmic juncture and thus justice will be served (potentially unbeknownst to you) or that 'that just isn't how life works' and it is a net negative upon you and your psyche. it gets so incredibly convoluted... to the point where it is impossible to justify and it just feels like time wasted whenever you muse over this subject. i realise what i have said right now potentially covers no ground as it ends up coming full circle on itself, however i just hope that you can know, somewhere in a cavern of your personality, that what you do is highly appreciated and the decisions that you take that no one else can see on the surface level ARE appreciated, even if they only bear their fruits in years time. thank you for this video.
I haven't played cs:go in years, i don't really care about upscaling, but i still watch your videos. I watch your videos because of YOU, because you are an amazing, interesting and upstanding individual. I always feel cozy watching you rant in your videos, it feels like i'm talking to a friend. I appreciate everything you do philip, and i'm grateful you are doing what you think is right.
I stopped the video to read that reply from the upscaling kid. I hope someday that kid gets a conscience and realizes that spamming edgy words and phrases to someone over the internet under an umbrella of anonymity just makes you look like a fool. I'm sorry you have to deal with people like that, Philip. Also, it's weird seeing the full names of UA-camrs or streamers that all you know them from is a pseudonym. It makes me feel kind of dirty, like I'm watching you in the shower or something. But sometimes I think we forget that even the people we interact with online are human beings with lives outside of this place. If you're reading this fellow viewer, just take a minute to remember that the guy or girl you watch and wait patiently for new content from has other responsibilities and desires outside of their videos. Warowl, Houngoungagne, and 3kliks love what they do but in the end it is a means to an end. Incredibly well put. If ever I find myself at similar crossroads, know that your actions will have inspired me to take the right path.
I always find these kinds of things heartbreaking. It makes me mad that there are people out there who will take advantage of you, and even accuse you of the one being in the wrong.
I've always really appreciated the lack of gambling ads, it's nice to have ads feel genuine.
woah, it really feels strange to suddenly realize that whatever i write to philip, he's already seen it, perhaps a dozen times;
for some reason, it comforts me - it feels strangely good to know i get to enjoy being so average and irrelevant... and yeah, thanks for the video philip!

I feel that way often. Oh, and don't promote gambling.
Honestly, I have never realised the potential effects of your theoretical gambling ads.

One thing I've always wondered is how the businesses offering promotions find business emails to offer promotions in the first place.
Anyone who thinks Philip is a sellout is delusional
I wonder how many people get BBC registrations from that one troll? lol
Thanks for not advertising gambling sites.
Ok
But even him use Gmail as his business mailing address, and as far as I know, Gmail did not support email domain blocking.
@@doggo_service Gmail allows you set up filters based on the sending address
@@tae523 nice troll, but dude its not a joke so that rlly made no sense
might miss reachouts for collabs etc. tho from other real people
I feel as though you are one of the last few remaining 'original' UA-camrs.
You haven't sold out and still make videos that are pure enjoyable, fun, silly and creative content.
That was the magic of UA-cam when it first came out. Thanks for your awesome videos Philip!
Philip: You can't just use my business email for non business stuff 😠
Everyone else: Haha the keyboard goes brrrrrrr
PS.
7:04 I thought he was having a stroke. Then I released he was talking about Hongunuge or this 🍌
This self reflection session is exactly why I watch this channel

What the hell is wrong with people
I haven't played cs:go in years, i don't really care about upscaling, but i still watch your videos.
They want to sit on their couch at 3 a.m. watching infomercials and eating McDonald's just like the rest of us. They have parents to visit, homes to clean, grocery shopping to do, and more. They are real people, with real lives, and found they can entertain others and live comfortably at the same time. So don't go harassing them because you're still waiting for the next video and it's been longer than usual. Be patient. Be understanding. Support your favorite UA-camrs both financially AND emotionally, and the content that they put out will be the same quality content you subscribed for.
