Not a difficult job, but those of us who have had these cars for the long haul know- you want to get the OEM part for the hydraulic mounts. All aftermarkets ones fail quickly and often- fine if you're a flipper or a used car dealer I guess. The other two mounts its ok to cheap out on, but the hydraulic one you want Motorcraft. You can get them online for about 75, although there are occasional periods when they are out of stock for awhile.
I got the dog bone and right hand side mount done, but on mine the 2 bolts in that battery holder are so deteriorated I can’t get them off with anything. Thinking about just drilling them out
Don't just break the plastic like just straight pull the plastic out and don't worry bout it, it ain't gonna hurt anything and you can do what you need to
It took me like 5 minutes to pop the side engine mount out and back in and bend the tabs in place. I don't know what the difference in cost would have been since the customer brought the parts, but I think it's a really silly design regardless. All mounts easily done in less than an hour, for a one hour charge. So, at least for me, the hourly rate would have been the same regardless if they got the side mount already put together.
Use a wood block between the jack and engine to better distribute the load and prevent damage

If you can get the heads off you might be able to grab the rest of it with vise grips to get the rest out.
@@HomeownerRepair I ended up melting the plastic around the bolts with a soldering gun! Worked out good lol
