I have had one since the release (I missed the early access) but I keep going back to using them as a pack strap light because it’s the best light I have found for that use. The larger light and battery is a plus for me at least the battery life is far better

As I’ve mentioned on other videos, I quite like Olight products, and I ordered one Oclip pro in the last sale that I’ll hopefully get in a few days, as they were out of stock and just sent out mine today. I can’t wait to get it and start playing with it 😁

Generally I like upgrades that make things smaller and lighter, but I can see the thinking behind this one. Olight just makes great lights. User-friendly and also colorful (for flashlight-misplacers like me). Thanks WS! I'll be checking out your older review videos as I see a bunch I missed.
Yea there’s like 200 videos on there some of the older ones are short and sweet and before I had a decent set up but I don’t think they are too bad the channel isn’t even a year old yet 😄 I like Olight a lot they are one brand I got a while back and I have stuck with them. They aren’t my only light brand but i definitely have more of their stuff than anyone else. They innovate and put out new stuff and colors all the time.
Absolutely! They are one of the most innovative and people pleasing companies that I know they do more colors and bring out more good gear than every other light company I know of
Salut mon ami it's a very good lamp, however a few small negative points: if you don't remember to lock the lamp, it lights up much too easily in your pants pocket (you realize this when you feel the heat on it our thigh), the battery which is not replaceable in the event of a problem with it (apart from returning it to the olight after-sales service) and I find that it is not specially designed so that it clips to a pocket or a belt, it sticks out too much. Otherwise nothing to complain about, it's a good little edc lamp. in France, currently, it is 48 euros (around 50 US dollars). Peace from France

I definitely always use the lockout feature on the lights it doesn’t take much longer to turn it off and continue to hold the button in till it locks out. I have had tail click lights come on in my pocket before while working so I do appreciate the lockout feature. Internal battery’s are here to stay i know a lot of people who carry a cell phone that you cannot change the battery in and every few years they have to get a new one. Having removable batteries or a battery pack is the best but custom made batteries would be hard to buy. I carry mine on a pack so i don’t have a problem with it and as for belt carry its hardly any thicker than my leatherman
I have been offing stuff through Olight for 7-10 years now and I have upgraded to a tier level that gets free engraving on the website/app but sometimes for certain online sale events they will offer free engraving for a few days that is how a lot of people get it done
I think the standard clip will be around for a while but I think with the extreme popularity of the pro eventually the original will cease to exist. I give it less than a year if I had to guess. 😄
@whitetailsurvival2430 I wonder if they’ll release a oclip 2 or if they’ll just stick to the pros models… I guess it will all depend on the sales of each size. I’m also looking forward to comparing the oclip pro to my perun 2 mini, specially regarding the size of both of them. I wish you a Merry Christmas, and that the channel keeps growing more and more!
Thanks a lot I appreciate that to the max! It’s definitely going to be smaller and lighter than your perun mini. I really prefer the size of the pro over the original and I really enjoy the improvement on battery life. I’m not sure if the next iteration will be a 2 or pro max 😂
@@whitetailsurvival2430 hahaha certainly, Olight naming often reminds me of Apple, so pro max wouldn’t be a huge surprise 😂 When I first saw the original Oclip it reminded me of the old 4.5 volts square flashlights that I had when I was a child but in a tiny size, so maybe they’ll end up doing a huge one hahaha

I love olight, and these are my favorite lights. The clip and the magnet make them incredibly versatile.

I find the upside down clip odd. I wonder why they didn't do it the conventional way.
I think it had something to do with the magnet and the way the light switches through the modes. I’m not positive though
