Try it with subsonic and place your thumb at the back of the slide/ bolt thingy stopping it from moving back it will sound like a BB gun

Most of the sound was from the action cycling. Some spy guns are single shoot to mitigate the sound.

Yes it's a real firearm, it shoots 22lr which is kinda weak and he is using subsonic rounds which makes that Ruger stupid quiet.
