To be honest when I saw the title of the video I thought it would be grant playing SC2 while having socks cover his hands.
That would've been great, another funny idea would be if he wore kitchen mitts.

how to make Grant happy
1. Let everything be mindcontrollable with objectives too
2. Make evey unit tall
3. Let ghosts ride ultralisks
There should be mod called "Grant Edition"
And have Zero Hour end when you kill all the Zerg hatcheries
Don't forget to have guys come out of the outhouses.
And make tutorial skippable

its funny how a different cloak hero totally changes the pacing of a stealth nobuild mission. Zeratul made a joke of the tosh mission, and Tosh was able to be a tanky boy to brute through zeratul's mission.
I laughed so hard I literally had to cry when Tychus said "pardon me a moment" when the mission was supposed to be over, then he flushed the toilet and the mission finally ended. This was glorious
Grant is so effortlessly funny, with silly things like "Big fan of blending the eggs blah blah blah cooking show", I love these videos.
Thinking there was a broken a trigger and findin out you just had to wait for Tychus to finish his bathroom break, was hilarious. Can't wait for part two and to see the winner!
Have bought some socks for myself.
Tychus wandering around confused in the Odin, taking a piss and then celebrating is the most Tychus thing to do and I was laughing my ass off the entire time
I do agree that throwing Fenix at your problems is a good way to solve things
If only it worked in real life.
@sc2_Nightmare in my experience you just need to know where to throw Fenix at the problem; and also source a Fenix to throw. Not as hard as you might think.

I first picked up StarCraft a few weeks ago after watching a GGG video pop up in my recommended, and so I’m still in my first play though of the game. It blows me away that he can finish half of the campaign in the time it takes me to beat one level. 1:10:12

If you do a similar idea for the future: Would probably be better to do the competition as a segmented run/ only measuring time in missions. While SC2 is old enough to run perfectly on most PCs, custom campaign level loading times can vary. Not sure if it's a big deal, or is it worth the hassle of setting up tbh, but just wanted to mention that as an option
Now when I think about inflation, the prices in StarCraft never increased. They always stay the same. I wonder what would it look like, if the prices for units would increase each mission

The annihilators dancing catch me off guard everytime and I can't help to laugh.
I was fast forwarding through zero hour till i stop for a second right when you said "the people on the vod didn't hear me because they fast forwarded through this" i then proceeded to rewind the video 5 minutes and watched it all

I’m pretty sure that grant was playing ghost of a chance on brutal. It’s no wonder that he was dying so much.
As if I could upload such a long video within just 5 days .... it's more a speedrun of my bandwith than an SC2 speedrun ...
Protoss on the trian misson is so much easier especially when you got vanguards and annihilators then the attack,armour and shield uogrades make them so scary against the terrans

So, if you can run the campaigns with the “wrong” race units, can you do a marines only challenge for Zerg and Protos campaigns?

Charity runs are a good idea, how about a run in wings of liberty where every mission you randomly roll to see what combat unit you can use (maybe use an online roller and ofc only add units you have unlocked at that point) maybe you might have to do the Dig with only Vikings, the Great Train robbery with predators or Reaper only All In. Sound hard and every mission would be wildly different.

Hey Grant, here is idea for the next challenge: how to beat missions in the most difficult way possible, for example, kill first 19 evacuating colonists out of 20, and then try to save the rest colonists including marines, or allow Orlan to hire Mira, and then to beat both of their bases, etc
You just lose immediately if Orlan hires Mira, you dont get a chance to fight them.
But you can destroy her base before you hire her. Would you still need to pay her after you destroyed her base? 🤔
