Crazy 3 wheeled Ferris Commercial Procut 61” Kohler 18HP

Crazy 3 wheeled 1989 Ferris Procut 61” mower. 18HP Kohler Magnum runs smoothly, and a Peerless 820 6 speed transaxle. Rare to find this with a 6 speed instead of the weak hydrostatic. Seems normal until you take a sharp turn. It is like a roller coaster!

I looked at a new one they have added a lot to them with all hydro drive and rear suspension. They remind me of the old Yazoo mowers from the 70s I worked on as a mechanic at a golf course in Miami they were very tough units had the 2 cylinder Wisconsin engines on them and were about indestructible!

They can be a bit hard to find, I just had to be a bit creative.. :). Ours was TK serial number 845

How do you release the hydros on this machine?

This particular model didn't have hydros. It was a conventional transmission, 7 speed.
