Thanks for the entertainment Tom! I know it's been said many of times, but this echo chamber says we are all ready for some spring carp'n! We appreciate you keeping the fire stoked thru the colder months Tom
Going through a little winter storm right now here in Texas, you know cool 50 degrees lol🙄. Can't wait for a nice day to go out, great video Tom keep them coming.
Yes, you're right. Unfortunately, environmental factors are to blame for that. My pike spots have been high and dry for 4 years because of ongoing drought, and the catfishing was very poor last year due to a fish kill. Maybe I'll get some catfish and pike videos in 2025, we shall see. Thanks for watching.
You catch some great fish Tom. Those rocks were be a killer for me. On the average what is the water temp. when carp begin to get active again? Thanks for another good video

Oh man, I would pay good money for 50 degrees! Right now it's -7 here, high of 8 tomorrow.
The Master! 👏👏👏
Please, don't blame me, but there hasn't been a catfishing video for a long time, as well as a video about pike fishing...

I’ve read reports that when you see carp surface, they are actively feeding and they are cleaning out gills from silt and debris.
Could be. Other theories I've heard include: gulping air, shedding parasites, decompressing swim bladder, and just for fun. 😁

I'll start fishing for them again when the water gets 45-50, but the action is really slow until the water gets to 55 or so. Thanks David.
Hi nice catch, what diameter is your new line, and what is your link diameter and strength, and are your hooks offset
All the gear and tackle I use is listed in the video description. Thanks for watching.
What size hooks are you using? or any specific type.
