Different album but I know what you mean. Everyone always suggests "And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope" but honestly Pyrrhic, Intra Venus, and Painters of the Tempest pt 2 are easy top 3 for me

I just want to make the statement that a lot of people doesn't talk about the incredible performance of the two vocalist together, It's incredible that Charles and Mark (Xen) can sing at the same time, a mean, singing the same lyrics at different times is difficult, really hard, singing two different lyrics in different times but at the same moment it's harder, but now, Marc and Charles can sing at the same time, different lyrics one on guttural and the other one on clean vocals, that for me, since the first time I heard them blew completely my mind! And of course, everyone, the bass player it's amazing, the drummer and both of the guitarist are unbelievable, but the singing at the same time for me was something very special.
You've got it with the light vs dark in NEO which goes even go the way Marc Campbell (harsh vocals, growls) looks compared to Tim (clean vocals, violin). Lots of bands do this but I think Neo has it down. Painters of the Tempest (II) is probably their best mix of chaos and beauty.
Xeynor is one of the best growlers in the metal scene at the moment and no one will change my mind on that. He rivals original Mikael Akerfeldt for me. This band is so amazing.

This quickly became one of my favourite bands, that seem to be killer live. Such tasty blast beats, like they said the classical influence, those audible basslines,... These guys sound unique.
They’re so good live! I’ve seen them twice and they haven’t disappointed me yet. They’re also the sweetest group of guys, I was lucky to meet them in 2018.

100% Pyrrhic hits you in the feels
For me it's Eyrie that hits me, the calmness I'm the first part, Tim's violin and voice and then that explosion half way... Neo at their best.
