My favorite toy is a kid! I had all four of the original Joe’s. As well as the bivouac set, the 30 caliber machine gun set, the MP, the shore patrol, the army and marine combat sets. And a bunch more. I was so disappointed when they went Adventure Team, and away from the military themed gear. At the time of course I didn’t understand it was due to anti-Vietnam War sentiment. But that ruined it for me. Even though I do remember getting a talking Joe with the life like hair and beard.
"One two three four got one Joe get some more" is forever in graved into my mind.
Gosh man I hope Hasbro releases reproductions of these 1964 GI Joes for the 60th anniversary next year! They are so AWESOME!!🪖
