'Jimmy' was my weed dealer in Simi Valley in the early 80's. He kept that capsule and turned it into a usable bong. He certainly wasn't an astronaut. He had the commercial and some other gigs that he did on VHS and popped it in one night. I felt a sad.

We really do need more Nazi GI Joes nowadays. Back when GI Joe action figures were educational and toy makers had balls.

The media and figures should be inducted into our national museum. Before it is lost forever. Please do everything you can to preserve this history. 🙏 I hope they preserve these films. They are part of the history of the children that grew up in the 60s. In commemoration of the first space mission to WWII and beyond.

My favorite toy is a kid! I had all four of the original Joe’s. As well as the bivouac set, the 30 caliber machine gun set, the MP, the shore patrol, the army and marine combat sets. And a bunch more. I was so disappointed when they went Adventure Team, and away from the military themed gear. At the time of course I didn’t understand it was due to anti-Vietnam War sentiment. But that ruined it for me. Even though I do remember getting a talking Joe with the life like hair and beard.
