That was a great share thanks!
The places you are camping are pretty damn incredible!
Hey Moto- Love the pigtail bridges in the Black Hills.
Nothing like it. Nothing!
Roll Tide! Matt
Crazy dang road - one of a kind!
Your chair sure looks comfortable
I bet it WAS comfortable. 😂
WAS
@@MotoGiant I’m teasing
The Black Hills are one of God’s great gifts to motorcyclists!
Iron Mountain Road, Custer Park, Spearfish Canyon, 14A.
It is really crazy how good it is out there, if only everybody else didn't know about it 😎
New subscriber. Thumb up Thanks
What a great camp spot. I haven't pulled the trigger on a trip that way yet. Wow 😮 I thought you broke your chair.
I’ll probably be on my way that direction July 30
I had to rewatch this my be your greatest video
Hammock hanging biker gang. Hahaha
I'll have to watch the rest on break I gotta go to work at 6 its 530 😥 I don't wanta. Lol.
I kind of liked the meadow that was below your camp site. Seemed really peaceful down there. On the way Wednesday. Bike is half packed. Waiting for it to cool off a bit.
that meadow is where my doe wound up every morning checking me out
This is the king of all stealth camping sites.
Sucky weather with drizzle and low ceilings keeps the helicopters from flying, so that's a plus.
This entire area is on my To Ride list.
As always, thanks for sharing. I love Low Budget Motorcycle Camping Adventure. It's my kinda adventure.
Great. I just spent another five hours planning my back road ultralight ADV moto camping trip. So far, it looks like Central Kentucky to Nashville, down the Natchez Trace Parkway, down to the Texas coast at Galveston to camp on the beach, down to Boca Chica Texas to camp on the beach and watch a SpaceX rocket launch (hopefully the big Starship first orbital flight), more or less follow the Rio Grande River and southern Texas border to El Paso, stay at the Jonquil Motel in Bisbee Arizona (owned by Sterling Noren of the Motorcycle Travel Channel), angle northeast through Gila National Forest to the Very Large Array radio telescope (more space geek stuff), Pie Town New Mexico for pie, and to northern New Mexico to see the weird alien looking hoodoos at the Bisti Badlands, a bunch of Must See places in Utah (Canyonlands National Park, Moab, Valley of the Gods - maybe a week), some of the Wyoming BDR, a few days seeing the places in South Dakota, then make my best time on back roads across Iowa and Missouri and back to Kentucky, camping at Land Between the Lakes in western Kentucky before the last day ride home to central Kentucky. There are at least a couple of ferry rides in there. The one near Galveston Texas is free.
wow that sounds like a great trip
That isn't the same place I remember you camping at last time, is it? Seems like you could see Rushmore right from your site.
it is the exact same spot from 2020,
Did you go through Newcastle Wyoming on your way to Casper by chance
I actually stopped a New Castle, and was going to have lunch there but the burger place had 5,000 people in line so I just kept rolling. I bet it was good they had shakes too
@@MotoGiant in 2020 I hung out there on my way to camp 5
What size tarp do you generally use Don? And just lines?
Tarp videos coming up, lots of info and suggestions very soon!
Awesome
I clicked on this while UA-cam was still processing the video. I was tempted to be an idiot and post "first". I gave it an automatic thumbs up instead because I know it'll be great.
I was right. This video was great. Your stealth camping videos epitomize my ADV motorcycle camping ideal, and this particular site is the lord god Kahuna stealth camping site.
The weather could have been better but on the plus side, low ceilings and socked in rain means no helicopters.
8:30 - Finally, the answer to the question I've always wondered. Does a Moto Giant Sasquachian shit in the woods?
Johnny Law didn't stop because he's not being paid to confront giant outlaw motorcycle saschatches. It's called officer safety.
