- Riding my motorcycle on Iron Mountain Road and Needles Highway before stealthing on the mountain. Motorcycle camping can be found in most places, even places where you might think that tourists will not be able to. Sometimes even I am surprised how awesome these spots can be.

Another great vid! Really liked the music, a great fit. And it’s awesome that you name the highways, such a big help for a rookie like me. We have the same general thoughts on crowds, I do so much better without people. Helicopters in a National Park, yikes, what a way to enjoy nature. I’m always amazed at the great places you find to camp. I don’t want this trip to end!

I agree with your assessment of South Dakota if you're a motorcycle rider, definitely worth the trip....and yes, too many people in the hot spots. But even in just the remote back roads it is stunning and far fewer people.

What an incredible place to ride. I've been looking for some really twisted up roads here on the island but I haven't found anything like that so far. I'm all about the stealth camping. Looks like you found a great spot.

In the last episode you were speaking about the technical issues you were having with recording/editing. Did you get it sorted out? And in that vein, what gear are you using (camera(s), editing software, computer/tablet, etc.)?
I'd been to Mt. Rushmore many years ago while in the USAF, long before I was a motorcyclist. I was actually a little underwhelmed. The Sturgis Rally doesn't excite me in the least. Don't care for big crowds of people. You're doing it right, IMO. I know what date you uploaded this, but what was the date when you were there?

I watched this already but just watched it again. Rerun worthy! I now have an actual list of places to visit and I just added this area to the list. It looks like I'll make a southwest US loop and a northern loop through the western states as a separate trip, avoiding the coastal commie states, of course.
I hate that you will miss the Commie States of America, because the coastline is amazing, BUT, the eastern side of those states has far less Marxists if you care to dip your toes? Either way, the Rockies have most of what a growing boy needs (mind Commie Colorado - mostly the front range)
