Then it got me thinking if that's got some deaf folks thinking "oh, I didn't know it made a noise", and now they're wondering what kind of a noise a middle finger makes. Maybe they're imagining there's a constant sounding of something like knuckles cracking. Or maybe I'm just thinking too much.
@@unaigzsg Agreed, I meant moreso to say technical Magnum Opus, or even better visual technical Magnum Opus, given the atrocious IMAX sound mixing. Unfortunately the movie itself has disappointed me in many ways, but the joke works better without the long winded explanation hahaha.
@@ExitStrategy1609 where do I said that David doesn't blink? I got the vibes for a "monster" from this video... "inspiration" I think you called in english...
Now I need a horror film where the monster is just David.... And everyone acts like it's the most horrifying thing they've ever seen but it's just David.
For everyone wondering, he cuts and reverses a 30-odd second clip over and over again. If you look at 1:14 you can kind of see it change direction 😀 I guess the clip at 3:00:10 was a mini hint! Love it ahah
Not blinking for four hours straight. That‘s some true dedication to the art No but seriously, how did you manage to not blink for over 50 seconds David? That‘s actually quite impressive!
Every year, in our household, during the holiday season, we would put ‘fire burning in a fireplace’ on the television, but this year, we have something new to play to spread out holiday cheer, thanks David!
I heard there is a David F. Sandberg's cut! I think is very different of what we got here. Please UA-cam, release the Sandberg's Cut!! I need to pick up this on Criterion edition.
This is balls on a filmmaker, this is perfectly cheesy, perfectly acted, perfectly edited. Everything about this scene is flawless, every film student needs to study why this scene works
Never before have I been so moved by a piece of art. This is truly inspirational and I can honestly say my life has been changed... forever. This film touched the deepest parts of my soul in such an intimate way that it almost feels like it was made specifically for me. I thank you for taking me on such an emotional journey through the intricate recesses of time and space. This has been an experience I can only describe as transcendent. No doubt future generations will be profoundly impacted by this work and find solace in it's complex simplicity. It will reach beyond the limits of culture and human understanding to guide even the highest of lifeforms across the galaxy to the treasure of pure, unfiltered, genuine existential expression. I am in a permanent state of blissful awe from the glory my ears and eyes have just witnessed. Thank you for this gift.
One of Sandberg's finest works. Using influences like David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky and a little of Christopher Nolan's recent TENET, he develops an intriguing experience that makes us question how he thought of it all. For some, the film may seem too long, but the suspense makes the runtime seem a lot more dynamic (reminiscent of Hitchcock films). Perhaps the only disappointment be the lead actor - who does a better job as a director - giving us a very cold performance, but that doesn't take away the merits of production. A Solid: 8/10 ✔️
Scorsese: My new film is 3.5 hours long.
David:
David: Hold my Middle Finger.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: Extended Edition: That's Cute

Nice short film.
@shutter Authority... The UA-camr i aspire to be like❤❤
“Short”
What do you mean short film it's four hours
@@juillotine woooosh
It's short like as in dimensions cos I'm watching it on my phone so it's like only three inches wide.
3:00:10 is where is gets magical.
Shazam!
This shit could be in Twin Peaks
I have no idea how that effect was accomplished. Anyone know?
Tenet before Tenet

Originally, this was gonna be a four episode mini series on HBO Max.
Everyone is talking about how well directed this short was, but no one is commenting about the acting, what a performance 👏
I honestly believe he's David Sandberg. It's amazing how fully he immerses himself into the role
Short? It's four hours. It's a feature.
Yeah, great performance. It's almost as if he weren't acting at all!
"Flipping off noises" thanks for thinking about deaf people.

Damn, David really made it to Hollywood. His garden is so big that he has someone blowing leaves for more than 4 hours.
LOL, had to raise my volume up at max to hear that!

It's not a Sandberg film without it
Yes, she dies at 3:00:10
Idk. I might have to re-watch a few times to fully understand everything.

I mean I came in here with my mind made up but I got to say this video made some valid points
He does not only flip us all for 4 hours straight, he doesn't blink once while at it... that is true commitment.
He does blink, every 50 seconds or so
Joke's on you, I was flipping YOU off from my side of the screen the entire time and even a bit after you left.
