Ed Mqz Eh, you say that. Remember last year Toyota actually sold Camrys at a loss for a while in order to boost their sales figures because the Fusion was gobbling up market share from them in the mid-size sedan segment. Full disclosure, I have a Fusion and am a huge fanboy of it.
Ed Mqz You are absolutely correct, the Camry was and probably still is the car to beat as far as mid-size 4-doors go in terms of units moved. It's just Ford (and Honda I think) are closing the gap now, which is reversing the trend that started with the Taurus in the 90s. Most of the car magazines are attributing this to the fact that even people with family cars want them to be fun now rather than an appliance that reliably takes you to work and back, and for my money I can't think of anything that helps me get to sleep better than just thinking about a late-90s Camry.
Thanks for the "Don't modify it bit" Some idiot in our school parking lot straight-piped his exhaust and blacked out the wheels on his Camry, and let me tell you, it looks absolutely awful and sounds even worse.
Blake I agree aye tinting the windows and taking off the hubcaps is the far as it goes lol u get that I work on my own cars and I get rid of the bullshit because ur broke snd working two jobs and that jewl is the dash wagon haha that's whas my excuse haha
I bought a 2011 Camry with 34K miles on it for $11,500. It has heated leather seats, LED upgrades, and a decent sound system. It is also THE MOST RELIABLE CAR EVER. Call it boring if you want. I love it. It works. You can buy a more “exciting” depreciating asset if you want. I’ll be saving for a nice down payment on a house.
I think the Camry is the most unjustifiably hated car ever. It does what it's supposed to do. It's a reliable well made reasonably affordable family sedan. It doesn't try to be something it isn't which IMO a lot of cars are guilty of. If you don't like it well then don't buy it.
Isaac Fox Agreed. I’ve got a 2016 myself, and I love it. About to hit 46,000 miles on it and she runs like a dream. Heck, as typical of a car it is, I’ve even got a few compliments here and there from some Uber/Lyft passengers about how nice mine is because of it being the XLE trim. Guess that means a lot of Camrys out there doing Uber/Lyft are the more typical LE or SE ones.
Isaac Fox Also, I just know that this is going to be a reliable car for many years to come. Despite all the tech that’s packed into it, I haven’t had a single major problem, and the only things I’ve had to do are routine maintenance as well as changing my first set of tires once those wore out. Otherwise, it’s been pretty much problem free for me.

It's actually more efficient to keep a car in working order for 10 years than it is to buy a new one...so that's one reason to not just buy/lease a car when you don't have to.
The V6 models of this car make nice sleepers though. They'll do 0-60 in 6 seconds flat and the quarter mile in the mid 14s, which is seriously quick for a fairly cheap family sedan.
splewy the problem with the v6 is that you had to shell out over 30grand and opt for XLE-trim to get one in the 07 Camry. That is serious money to drop on a toyota and why Mr. Reg talks about the options bringing you into lexus territory. My dad (against everyone's advice) bought a brand new, fully optioned XLE that was pushing 40k after taxes back in 07. Let that sink in a moment - $40,000 for a Toyota. It is surprisingly sprightly if you mush the pedal. Unfortunately the accelerator and brakes feel like a day old peeled banana.
AntLicious That's not what he's saying...He's saying for 40k you could buy a nice Lexus that has a nicer interior and the same engine, since Lexus is a Toyota.

Brand names like Camry survive because they haven't yet been associated with a terrible product. I don't think the affection goes any deeper than that. Camry and Accord are proof that it doesn't matter what you name the car so long as it's consistently solid. The Focus is getting near that territory. Maybe the Golf too? All stupid names. Chevy can try whatever youthful brand it wants, but it's not going to matter. In this segment, you pay the engineers, not the marketing department. Make a good car for the money and whatever random, inoffensive name you slap on it will be fine. Every attempt to specifically target young buyers has failed, excluding CGI hamsters.
5 років тому+3
Focus's are some of the worst cars ever made, and still are. What are you talking about?
The reason GM doesn't recycle alot of names is because they don't want to tarnish the rep of the new model. Let's face it, people don't exactly have fond memories of cars like the Cavalier or Cobalt.
In this comment section, a bunch of nerds talk about how every car that isn't a LeMans prototype is shit, because ALL CAR MUST BE RACECAR. Meanwhile, Toyota continues to be the most successful automaker in the world, mostly because of cars like the Camry.
Dell0304 Suggested it to him on Reddit (I know, I'm a sellout). He was about to get his hands on one before a Hummer crushed it. So... anyone here got a virginmobile they'd like to give Mr. Regular?
I had the rare 2010 Camry with the 6 speed manual and 150HP 4banger. It was actually a really fun car and it pulled pretty hard. Not the fastest or funnest car I've ever owned, but I love the thing
willthefuneverstart bro, i put an intake super charge on my mom's 2000 camry. bro, i raced a lambo one time on 35, i hit 80 and he looked like he threw out the anchor bro. roots or centrifugal? nah man, intake!
DrRyan82994 I like them too... I think what I always look for is reliability... That's why I picked an Acura... next will be a Lexus for sure! Don't get me wrong, I like Mercs, Bmws and Audis but I just can't accept paying that much for something that probably won't last 10 years without major problems.
So? My 99 CRV has 400km on it. My 2000 focus se got to almost 500 (310miles) km before i had to get rid of it, ran to the day it was towed, it was just too rusty to keep.
My Mom had her 2007 Camry until a Methhead and a Opioid addict hit and totaled the car while we were parked the Car rip 2007 to 2017 the car had 350k miles and other than some Oil issues the Camry ran right along until that fatal day then we got the 2012 Camry
My 2000 Camry sounds like a lawnmower when going up any sort of incline. I love that little trooper. Reliable and I've gotten laid in that things many a times. It's hard to shit on something that's been so near and dear to my heart, so I won't. Love you, Toyota. Kiss me where that sun don't shine big boy.
Liamv4696 What do you drive? Some shitty GM product? I would never buy a Camry but you cannot deny that they're wonderful cars for what they're meant to do. Get from A to B reliably every time.
Streetmastaalex lol... A Lancer GSR, and trust me, I've driven past too many Camrys on the side of the road because their owners refuse to do any routine maintenance.
So did this guy play on a drum line or what. Indoor drum line is like the most obscure thing one can do in high-school other than be a normal member of your school's anime club.
Yep. I tell people I'm in indoor percussion and 90% of the time I end up giving a 15 minute talk trying to fucking explain it to them. "It's marching band, but only percussion, and it's in a gym."
Part of me loves the camry as a daily go between for handling life....the other part of me feels like they should all be burned down to the ground for being so mediocre and forcing me to deal with a shit ton of young guys who pay 05 sti money for the ABSOLUTELY MOST MUNDANE AND BORING VEHICLE YOU COULD EVER OWN!!! I think owning a 1984 Buick lesabre was more enjoyable than driving around the 06 camry my ex loved making us "enjoy" together -_-
nezerac Like he said, it's the car for people that have no desires when it comes to car. They want something that gets them from A to B with no drama of any kind (at all... they want an appliance). It's a necessary evil serving a vital purpose, so those of us with actual passions and desires can have our [enter your favorite, but not entirely sensible mode of transportation here].
powermatt Logically. Shouldn't they charge MORE for a no drams, A to B, that has very little maintenance and charge less for the firespitters that often end up wrecked or sitting in a garage with a blown motor? I think people should pay more for appliances and less for cars. The world would be so great :D
powermatt I have one and I consider myself to be a car guy and I actually still like it, granted it wasn't my first choice when I was shopping for a car but nonetheless it was the best choice considering my current situation and needs, and yes I will definitely modify it partly because I'm a car guy and also because there are two other girls at my work with the same exact car, color and everything (mine is silver) but being the guy I am I still want it to feel like my car.
pianoman3214 Ha. The ECU for the 2AR-FE is about as excited about physical exertion as your morbidly obese granduncle. A full exhaust system including the headers and a cold air intake would probably do next to nothing for power output. It's kind of the same story for most modern ECUs, but especially so for the Camry. I'd still be that guy who modified a Camry anyways, hahaha. A set of lightweight 7-spokes and maybe a little rear wing would do wonders for its appearance. The stock lines look pretty decent for an econobox.
Owner of an 04 Camry LE, beige, with a 4 cyl and an auto. It is the most faultless car I've ever owned. It has never stranded me, and has been cheap and easy to run and maintain. It's also the most soulless car I've ever owned. It has the personality of an accountants' accountant. It's literally the closest car in the world to being an appliance. Frankly, I'm amazed you could stretch a video about a Camry all the way to 7 minutes.
One of your better videos. Funny in a non laughing way. I'm laughing hysterically on the inside only because I don't want to hurt my body from how hard I should be laughing lol.
My dad bought a 2014.5 Camry new, but I've gotten him to come to his senses and he will be purchasing something anyone would be happy to drive, a 2009 M5!
TheNGplus the last generation mazda 3 looks a bit alright, the ford focus kinda pulls it off too but the current toyota corolla and camry? Maybe it would grow on me later on, but I kinda hate them right now.
I have a grey 2014 Camry with 289,000 km on it. It is the most boring old man car that I could ever imagine, but I don't regret buying it for a minute because I am now a boring old man. It gets great gas mileage for a big car, has plenty of room for the family, and just keeps going. I had $600-$700 in maintenance costs last year, though this year will be double that because I needed new tires. My goal is for it to last until the kids move out. Four more years would take it to 450,000 km - which is perfectly possible in a Camry. After the kids are gone I won't have to worry about back seat headroom/legroom any more and I can get my dream car - a Prius Prime. :D
Man I love my 09 Corolla. Got it from my parents when I got out of high school and its still chugging strong at 167k miles. It was the car I learned to drive in, my first car, and I still use it today. I love it
Camry is for the rich and wealthy in my country. We, the people, drive Corollas. Lots and lots of Corollas. Corollas are nice. Yeah... They're... Nice... *sobs*
indeed, Camry is a luxury in my country also. But Toyota did not sell the low trim Camry models like in the US (standard wheels with wheelcap, no foglamp). The design are better too. And guess what, in my country, Corolla is still considered a luxury, a quite affordable one though. Even the lower market model, The Toyota Vios / Belta were still expensive. People in my country usually get a Toyota Agya.....absolute shitboxes
same here in brazil (but mostly because toyota only sold the most expensive camry) and corollas (the new ones) are seen as an expensive car and the camry is so expensive, that rich people rather get an BMW, Mercedes-Benz or an Audi
Mr. Regular, have you no love for Saabs? Please review my '95 Saab 9000 CSE. It's a turbo stick shift with enough room under the rear hatch for you to store the bodies of an entire high school cheerleading squad, or several dozen cubic feet of brown mulch, or half a cheerleading squad concealed under one dozen cubic feet of brown mulch.
It's not regular enough. That or Mr Regular doesn't want to test one because if he pulls over, police will find half a cheerleading squad concealed under one dozen cubic feet of brown mulch and arrest him.
SiliconClassics Saabs are neither as prestigious as TheLaXandro suggests nor as shitty as Mr. Foreman claims - they always occupied an oddball niche for upwardly-mobile creative types who wanted to drive something different. And yes, now that they're cheap they've been adopted by hipsters and the Vermont LGBT crowd. But the 900 is iconic and the 9000, while less unique, is culturally significant enough to warrant some attention from RCR IMHO. C'mon Mr. Regular - headlight wipers. It has HEADLIGHT WIPERS for Chrissake, and they're every bit as useless as they sound!
If you watch Season 1 episodes, especially the earlier ones (I suggest you to watch the Echo review, Dodge Grand Caravan, Honda Accord) you'll notice the weird vibes that were constantly present on Season 1....but not much on later seasons FuZionSniperzZ
I had a 85 iroc still do and my friend had a mustang gt in high school. I'm 31 now. Back in 09 we was 17 his rich mom bought 1 of these new bc she didnt want to show off which was much respect for her. Or she was cheap idk. We borrowed her car every weekend and raised hell in it. Lots of memories. Back then in 09 a 09 camey to poor people new was so futuristic
This is the first funny RCR since before Corvettes at Carlisle. Glad to see you're back in true form. Because there was a stretch there where things got kinda lame.
There was no 2.5L yet, and when it came for MY2010 it replaced the 2.4 altogether, not based on trim. Great video though:) I like these cars because unlike Altimas and Optimas and many others, Camrys don't pretend to be anything they're not. They're boring, they know it, they own it. I like honest cars. This humility and the low expectations makes it actually kinda fun to mess around in one. And! The 5-speed auto paired with this 2.4L would hold gears even at redline when you put the gearshift in positions other than D. The newer ones, with the 2.5L and 6-speed auto, upshift just shy of redline, even in "manual mode" into a gear above what you've selected. For shame. The 2.4 also sounds better and revs a bit more eagerly.
The Camry was sold as a large executive car in the UK (up until 2002/3 I think). It was never very popular here. Smaller Toyotas always sold better but I think the Camry's final nail in the coffin in the UK were that potential buyers were swayed by the range of Lexusssss on offer in the early 2000s. Interesting how it's a fairly mainstream car in the US. To me, it's a big car that is perhaps not that cheap to run
Do you require every one of your donors to clip some sort of red strap to their keyring? I'm seeing red straps in a lot of the handoffs. (My favorite so far is the classic "remove before flight" tag, obviously.)
I have a 2010 Toyota Camry LE Base in super white exterior. Has the updated 2AR-FE 169 HP engine with dual VVT-I and Single multiport injection. The updated 6 speed automatic with sequential sport mode shifting. Has the same exact interior color as this 2007 model. Has all auto windows, power driver seat, automatic lights, cruise control, exterior temperature reading, a trip meter with odometer, 6 speaker audio system. 2 on the front dash, front doors, and the rear on top of behind the back seats, not on the rear doors. I love my 2010 model. Has the satelite radio capability but don’t have it activated and don’t have the signal for it. I have those black door guard strips on all sides of the car. Has 180,000 miles. Recently got the alighment done to it. Also has rear LED dot brake lights with the red turn signal indicators. Uncle bought this used with 35,000 miles and has 180,000 now. He got it in October of 2011 and he drove it for awhile and then my grandma drove it and then my mom did and now I drive it and been driving it for a year and 2 months and had 166,000 miles when I started driving it. Has the OEM 7 spoke hubcaps aftermarket with the fake lugnut styled. I bought the Toyota logos to go on them and have 3 extra hubcaps if they get stolen or fall off the car but most of the time I keep it in the garage at home. It’s a good car, has great acceleration and passing power and I topped it out at 120mph before in 5th gear. My Camry doesn’t have a government limiter. I do the 5,000 mile oil changes and do it twice a year because I only put 12-13,000 miles a year on it so yeah. I plan to keep it forever.
I have owned a 2006 Thai-made Camry and the aircon is as cold as the environment shown in this video. Yes Toyota, please continue making icy cold car aircon systems especially for tropical climates! and the car is god damn reliable as well :)
Kcus Kcidu No no no, we don't have ours anymore but what I meant was that the generation of Camry in 98 looks a lot better to me than the 2007 generation of Camry
I prefer the 2007 model, though i do like the 98 as well. Looks like my 99 Accord. Though do remember, in the '07 you get the 3.5L V6 rather than the 3.3L ;)
it's great car, have an '09 and it's a great car. Can go from Indy to Pittsburg with 1/4th a tank to spare and only needs oil, brakes, tires, and an alignment every 3 months
I had a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid from August 2006 to January 2020 was a great car consistently got 35mpg to up to 45mpg even at 150k miles, have bought family s 2012 Toyota Camry SE 2.5 November 2019 & very happy again sport tuned suspension & paddle shifters to change transmission shift rpms, average 33mpg the 2.5 is more efficient & more hp than previous 2.4
Wow I feel dumb for modifying my Camry and making it a track car now...nah I'm glad that I put the effort into it, the track guys love to see something different.
Mod a Camry if you want they have potential to go fast and look good despite what he thinks. The 3.5 V6 Se gets to 60 in 5.8 faster then some V8 cars. Fun fact ... over seas they have something called the Aurion which is a camry and its has a TRD model which comes with a Supercharger on the 3.5 liter and pushes put out on the Aurion to 350hp.
+Toyota4Life They had ONE model of aurion in AUSTRALIA ONLY that was supercharged. You don't modify a camry, people who modify camrys are the same people who bought chrystler 300's because they looked like rolls'.
Bro. You fail to understand THAT YOUR OPINION. Now STFU Any car can be modded But the camry can become much better when modded. Whats your point Toyota STILL made a supercharged camry doesn't matter if its ONE or 100.
+rewtuser Bro who cares people get laughed at all the time AND life goes on fuck do i care. Sad you cant see how closed minded you are. I wont laugh at anyone for modding a camry if its done in a tasteful way. Gets my respect since it isnt common. Im not the type of loser person to laugh at someone because they do thing their way. You can laugh at someone all you want will it effect them? Have a good day
If you had an award for "Most Regular Car", this would probably be it.
....I drive this cars "little sister" fucking siblings! BROWN BROWN BROWN
***** And yet, Ford, Chevy & Dodge want to-but cant replicate it. Its kinda funny really
MalikCarr True, but you gotta admit, the engineers from the big three each had a photo of the Camry as the car to equal or beat for many years
Ed Mqz You are absolutely correct, the Camry was and probably still is the car to beat as far as mid-size 4-doors go in terms of units moved. Some idiot in our school parking lot straight-piped his exhaust and blacked out the wheels on his Camry, and let me tell you, it looks absolutely awful and sounds even worse.
lmfao
Yeah, really sad too. Sometimes he'll pull his e-brake on this one puddle during rainy days to do some "sick skids"... It's honestly pathetic.
***** damn lol, I could probably get better "skids" than him in my stock 1978 ranchero with 140 hp
I'm just waiting for him to hit the curb and mess up his plasti-dip wheels.
Blake I agree aye tinting the windows and taking off the hubcaps is the far as it goes lol u get that I work on my own cars and I get rid of the bullshit because ur broke snd working two jobs and that jewl is the dash wagon haha that's whas my excuse haha

It might be the missionary position of the car world, but the end result is still the same.
I have an 05 with 145000 km on it. Best car I've ever owned. I live in Northern Australia. Cars live hard lives here. My Camry is unbreakable.
And you'll still be driving it and loving it even after the house is paid off !
I have an 05 with 505,000 km on it :D I love it.
Love the mindset. Stay humble. Blessing are coming your way. 🙌💯
I think the Camry is the most unjustifiably hated car ever. It does what it's supposed to do. It's a reliable well made reasonably affordable family sedan. It doesn't try to be something it isn't which IMO a lot of cars are guilty of. If you don't like it well then don't buy it.
It's also the most loved.... Best selling car in America. F-150 is still best selling vehicle.

Isaac Fox two years later, the new Toyota Camry is trying to be a sporty car, but it’s really not, and it looks strange.
techguy123 imo it looks nice and the engine is amazing for what the car actually is, 301 hrsprs i mean

theFailQuail why do you care about price? work your ass and get money. If price is stopping you from something, then go fix that issue.
AntLicious It's not that the price is the stopper, but for the same price you can get something a lot more interesting
MRLebanonnn Fail quail is not open minded about toyota engines. I'll take any toyota engine over any other type of engine.
AntLicious That's not what he's saying...He's saying for 40k you could buy a nice Lexus that has a nicer interior and the same engine, since Lexus is a Toyota.
Camry the car that says "generic car"
artistic amnesia The car that says "I have no passions in my life, but I must drive."
artistic amnesia the car that says "i have to get to point B as bland as possible"
Ed Mqz The car that says
"Passion and thrill? I might poke my eye out if I tried that."
Ed Mqz camry the car, thats for liberal art majors
artistic amnesia yep
This is the car for the Juniors in high school who load up on red bull and donuts when the first snow falls then go rip around the church parking lot in the mom's Camry.
The Toyota Camry: the Kenmore washer/dryer of the automotive world. It does what it sets out to do, which is meet the basic definition of what it is, without being really good or bad at anything. To quote Bob's Burgers, if it were a spice, it would be flour.

Haha. Do you live in Houston? That's the mentality people here in Houston have. Nissan Altima drivers think they drive an Infiniti. Honda drivers (Accord fegs) think it's an Acura NSX, etc.
L30NHART Southern drivers are fucking nuts. I visited Louisiana and Texas last year. Holy hell the retardation was immense.
L30NHART In NorCal. I drive a Focus ST and my buddy drives a 2015 Fusion (2.5L). He drives the Fusion like it's a Ferrari.
Rucifel I always do the same thing when I'm riding shotgun with someone who isn't a good driver, I press my foot down like I'm hitting breaks lol. Glad I'm not the only one.
Yes! A million times yes.
Dear GM.
People don't stop buying cars with old names because old names are old and they don't like those names anymore.
They stop buying cars with old names because of what YOU did to those names.

Bring back the Nova, and build it Right.
Bring back the El Dorado, and build it Right.
Bring back the Grand National, and build it Right.

Leslie48 no gm sucks
AntLicious
And they're gonna keep sucking if that's the attitude.
+Leslie48 I wouldn't care what they called their cars, as long as they designed and built them right.
Bring back Pontiac, Saturn, and Hummer but make that last one more of a luxury brand.
Every time I see an Oldsmobile I nut
thats a regular car
It's not even that. Stealing Mr Regular's quote from his Malibu video.
"This is a car."
I was not expecting this to be dirty, so when that first joke hit, it harder than CUMMING OUT A KIDNEY STONE, ERRRR.
On that note, thank you Mr. Regular for giving us a BLAST of the old RCR. Loved the raunchiness of this. Keep doing what you're doing, I fucking love this channel.

Focus's are some of the worst cars ever made, and still are. What are you talking about?
Totally agree, except that "Focus is getting near that" aged pretty badly thanks to that senseless dual-clutch automatic
"This is my 19... uhh 2007 Hond- Toyota Camry."
Mesder13 Harold Slovinski's cousin? Or maybe it's DAN ARNETS! My wife's been driving the car.
Toyandasan Camccordima???
The reason GM doesn't recycle alot of names is because they don't want to tarnish the rep of the new model. Let's face it, people don't exactly have fond memories of cars like the Cavalier or Cobalt.
Do it right, do it once
justsumguy2u was the cobalt that bad? the ss seemed like an amazing sleeper
pianoman3214 It was pretty bad.
Sam Stoner couldn't it do a 1/4 time of around 12 seconds though? that's pretty fast for a two door coupe
justsumguy2u exactly what I was gonna say lol you can't recycle names that bring up horrible memories
my 2000 Camry has over 391 thousand miles on it and still looks and runs great
Kip Paseo considering that the Camry looked terrible coming out of the dealership, I doubt it looks great
Im sure its got no paint, no interior, no power and no mait has been done on it.
Bout as much fun as a sneeze.
Kip Paseo that’s a good car choice for a person that doesn’t know about mechanics
2007 with 190,000 still runs great!
2000 V6 with 220k.
Runs great.
In this comment section, a bunch of nerds talk about how every car that isn't a LeMans prototype is shit, because ALL CAR MUST BE RACECAR.
Meanwhile, Toyota continues to be the most successful automaker in the world, mostly because of cars like the Camry.
Agreed
Very Ironic after what happened to poor Toyota this year
Awww, look who's defending their boring Camry.
Okudzeto Ackah who are you talking to?
I'm still waiting for a PT Cruiser review.
Lol I know right
Omg yes I loved that video lol
Dell0304 Suggested it to him on Reddit (I know, I'm a sellout). He was about to get his hands on one before a Hummer crushed it. So... anyone here got a virginmobile they'd like to give Mr. Regular?
That's gunna be a hilarious review
Edward Cullen Doug?
this car cant be that bad, i mean, it does have v-tec after all.
George Washingturnt I see what you did there...
I see -_-
:P
George Washingturnt HAHAHAHAHAHA
No it has vvti variable valve timing intelligence, which is the same thing as v-tec
JohnMarion383 no its not, vtec is known for augmenting your fuel's octane level.
JohnMarion383 I think he already knows
I like that I can find this video by searching 'rcr brown'
I had the rare 2010 Camry with the 6 speed manual and 150HP 4banger. It was actually a really fun car and it pulled pretty hard. Not the fastest or funnest car I've ever owned, but I love the thing
this car has a reputation for being the best car for drifting in the middle east
Deadly totally agree with you mate those drifting videos are super crazy
Is this Matt Farrah's Million Mile Lexus?
God dammmmmit, enoooough
Ethan McAuley Is this Matt Farrah's Million Mile McAuley?
Tommy Edmonds It's a Toyota Camry not owned by Matt Farah
deathpony698 cheeky slag.))
willthefuneverstart bro, i put an intake super charge on my mom's 2000 camry. bro, i raced a lambo one time on 35, i hit 80 and he looked like he threw out the anchor bro.
roots or centrifugal? nah man, intake!
Toyota's are awesome, easy to swap parts around, simple, cheap, and durable, engines won't complain. And they look great
The automatic camry v6 does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds... that's as fast as a mazdaspeed 3... just let that sink in....
"But but but... It's does it without any soul! It's just so boooring."
Shut up, your grandma could beat you in a drag race lol
Yea and that's only .5 seconds off the 0-60 of a 2015 mustang v6 with the performance package!!! Not bad for a granny car :)
Coffee please Yeah no, I like the camry, my comment is kind of aimed at all of the people in the comments calling it a boring car
Coffee please But its still a camry.
Probably one of the most reliable cars ever made. My uncle put 270k miles on it before he sold it.
So? My 99 CRV has 400km on it. My 2000 focus se got to almost 500 (310miles) km before i had to get rid of it, ran to the day it was towed, it was just too rusty to keep.
+Dangerous Amoeba lies
+Dangerous Amoeba so my geo got over 9000,000 miles and i still have it
@@bcuz8998 lol
My Mom had her 2007 Camry until a Methhead and a Opioid addict hit and totaled the car while we were parked the Car rip 2007 to 2017 the car had 350k miles and other than some Oil issues the Camry ran right along until that fatal day then we got the 2012 Camry
Man this got really weird. Good to see a return to the older style, I was missing the raw lunacy of the old videos.
My buddy had an 07 Camry and it made a fantastic road trip car. If I found one of these at a good price I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it.
The Toyota Camry.
The common cold of the car world.
Unpleasant and everywhere, and theres still no cure.
Liamv4696 "Prius," the devil whispered.
So... You hate reliable cars? Maintenance bills do put you on edge... I get where you are going!! *BROWN BROWN BROWN*
kma198199 reliable cars or throw away leased boxes of dull horror?
Liamv4696 What do you drive? Some shitty GM product? I would never buy a Camry but you cannot deny that they're wonderful cars for what they're meant to do. Get from A to B reliably every time.
Streetmastaalex lol...
A Lancer GSR, and trust me, I've driven past too many Camrys on the side of the road because their owners refuse to do any routine maintenance.
The Toyota Camry is for the person who treats a car as an appliance.
what if I treat mine like I want to hit a million kilometres with it
@@edbo10 that too, as mr regular says, your first car is for making money not robbing you of it
yup
Kid even had a lanyard on his keys, couldn’t be more perfect
"I don't use an EZ Pass because that's how the government tracks you now brace yourself I'm going to start talking about chemtrails" 😂😂😂😂 lmao
Now let me tell you what they don't want you to know about 9/11....
It's a necessary evil serving a vital purpose, so those of us with actual passions and desires can have our [enter your favorite, but not entirely sensible mode of transportation here].
powermatt
Logically.
Walter Esese put a cold air intake on it. Yo...
pianoman3214 Ha.
"And I waited in a 2 hour line when Taco Bell opened up in Saint Clair" IM CRYING THIS IS SO TRUE
The owner of that Camry... such a Camry kind of guy. He should never buy anything but Camry's for the rest of his life.
🤧🤧🤧🤧 good one
Very true. I have an 08 camry and ever since I bought it I figured im a camry guy for life or at least Lexus/Toyota fanboy
The list of temptations has me crying 😂😂😂
See Toyotas are perfect for long road trips because, as a passenger, it's very easy to fall asleep
One of your better videos. Funny in a non laughing way. I'm laughing hysterically on the inside only because I don't want to hurt my body from how hard I should be laughing lol.
YESSSSSSS. YOU FINALLY DID IT.
This is Clayton, by the way, and I'm happy you're still on the go. Also pleased you finally did a Camry.
first gen camry solara, coupe v6 5 speed. Black. One of my favorite off-the-radar cars to this days
I had an 02, same powertrain. Loved it for many reasons. Next car was an FR-S, and the shifter and clutch were _a world better_ in the Solara.
Camrys are the lullabys of the car industry
oops...... I modified one..... at least its a v6
well thank you sir.
well on lowered springs, like shit honestly. but stock ride height its fine. nothing special
My dad bought a 2014.5 Camry new, but I've gotten him to come to his senses and he will be purchasing something anyone would be happy to drive, a 2009 M5!
OMG Doug Demuro's Nissan Skyline R32 GTR ??!!!' :O
Where?
omg. this is like regular car inception. the most regular of all regular cars.
Your review are the best, I can't stop watching them. I dont comment as much but as long as I leave my 👍👍👍
It's about time the crazy reviews came back. Looks like we got the meat this time. Awesome review. Probably one of the best ones yet.
This one is more attractive to me then the newest one. I hate the look of the new one.
Agree
They're making big mouths now
RickTrajan shout out to my big mouths. mazda 3, peugeot 208 you know who you are
TheNGplus And then there's the 3008. WTF happened in the styling department?
The more regular the car, the more MEATY the review. :)
Ceziar you must live in Miami, the capital of Corollas
Afghanistan?
In Argentina Corollas are the luxury cars a Camry is just an impossible dream
same here in brazil (but mostly because toyota only sold the most expensive camry) and corollas (the new ones) are seen as an expensive car and the camry is so expensive, that rich people rather get an BMW, Mercedes-Benz or an Audi
The intro song made me cry 3 times. Pure perfection.
As a Prius owner I think I can safely call your description of Toyota owners 100% accurate.
I see you're trying to top the Avenger review.
I can see a lot of Season 1 weirdness in this episode.
Sean C Yeah the ".gov speech", as I will call it, definitely calls up the disturbing/funny vibes the first two seasons channeled well.
Akbar Fariz I know. Its great!
Akbar Fariz how do you know the different seasons?
If you watch Season 1 episodes, especially the earlier ones (I suggest you to watch the Echo review, Dodge Grand Caravan, Honda Accord) you'll notice the weird vibes that were constantly present on Season 1....but not much on later seasons FuZionSniperzZ
It’s fitting that the most regular car would have the most Mr. Regular review

Lol, I got a Camry and I'm a senior
Steel Eagle They're great cars!!! Like honestly, there probably isn't a better first car.
Mines an 07 silver with black rims and tint and going to be a senior
I can't believe I just discovered this channel. My life is forever changed.
This car is great.
It just looks like a piece of drywall with wheels.
Drives like it too. With less fuel economy than expected tbh
This is the first funny RCR since before Corvettes at Carlisle. Glad to see you're back in true form. Because there was a stretch there where things got kinda lame.
There was no 2.5L yet, and when it came for MY2010 it replaced the 2.4 altogether, not based on trim.
Great video though:)
I like these cars because unlike Altimas and Optimas and many others, Camrys don't pretend to be anything they're not.
This is top 3 funniest reviews you've ever done lol the M3 and Neon were the others but this is hilariously accurate
I have a 1985 Camry with 112k miles. And everyone keeps looking at it, like "Oh, wow. You still have one?" and "How much are you selling it for?"
Yeah, well. It's definitely a rarity.
Please take good care of it
The Camry was sold as a large executive car in the UK (up until 2002/3 I think).
I don't know about you but I really like my old 2004 i4 camry, it does it's thing and it runs really smooth.
Wasn't expecting a Crazy Town reference in 2015. It immediately brought visions of the cheerleader scene from Orange County.
if you have the 2AZ-FE engine watch out it might have an oil burning problem
2007 Toyota Camry, the car that appears in commercials that advertises anything but the car.
Doesn't the V6 version have the same engine as the Lotus Evora?
same block
It's way different though... The Lotus version has like 7 more hp!
Bryan Liguori 30 more hp
Ssshhhhh. Youll make car people angry if they see you're pointing out grandmas car is quicker than theirs
I have owned a 2006 Thai-made Camry and the aircon is as cold as the environment shown in this video. Yes Toyota, please continue making icy cold car aircon systems especially for tropical climates! and the car is god damn reliable as well :)
Mr. Regular is my spirit animal
Mr. Regular, thank you for all the jabs at band geeks!!!

You say "chubby chasing" like it's a BAD thing.
Mr Regular LIVES. I was in tears from watching this, well done.
My dad's old 98 Camry looks better than this gen of camry to me
Your mom looked better in 98.
+Ealdy yours aged well mmmm
Kcus Kcidu No no no, we don't have ours anymore but what I meant was that the generation of Camry in 98 looks a lot better to me than the 2007 generation of Camry
RandomVideos ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I prefer the 2007 model, though i do like the 98 as well. Looks like my 99 Accord. Though do remember, in the '07 you get the 3.5L V6 rather than the 3.3L ;)
This is the most regular car to ever exist
I got almost that same talk in the intro when I was 17 and getting an 05 Toyota Corolla LE...
Marching band and indoor Drumline...
Oh so many memories
has anyone looked up that link yet?
it's great car, have an '09 and it's a great car. Can go from Indy to Pittsburg with 1/4th a tank to spare and only needs oil, brakes, tires, and an alignment every 3 months
Modifying a camry should punishable by death.
Note to self, don't try to eat food while listening to RCR
Unexpectedly entertaining and hilarious video
Time to go remove the modifications from MY Camry :(
I knew a guy that supercharged his late '90s Camry. I don't care what anybody says, that's cool lol
ddremoboy Those TRD kits were pretty bad ass. Tried to get my dad to buy one for his 08 Tundra when we still had it.
Wow I feel dumb for modifying my Camry and making it a track car now...nah I'm glad that I put the effort into it, the track guys love to see something different.
+Bad Drivers of SE WI Why?????
I come back here frequently just to watch Mr regular close the passenger door in the beginning
What I learned from this Review is.... as MaximBady use to say:
Sooooo..... Camry's is like Condoms.... SAFE N FUN :)
A 2007 grey Camry LE with a grey interior. Now this is a regular car. Nice.
The official car of Americans who shop at Wal-mart.
marklarizzle they will If TWD ever happens for real
That isn't too far from the truth.
They mostly have trucks and SUVs
Lol but i own a camry and shop at target.
z I feel embarrassed now of having one but I’m a sophomore so idc as long as I have a car
The intro to this video is so incredibly accurate... I had this exact car my senior year of high school and it was BEIGE!
Now STFU
Any car can be modded But the camry can become much better when modded. Whats your point Toyota STILL made a supercharged camry doesn't matter if its ONE or 100.
Toyota4Life Yep, they can become much better when modded. Much better at getting laughed at because you're driving a modded camry. Get a grip.
Have a good day
Toyota4Life "in a tasteful way" Coming from a guy with a 'stanced' car in his profile picture, I'm afraid you don't know what tasteful is.
