Although this sounds gorgeous, the subtlety of the English lyrics have been lost somewhat. Cassandra just stating that she's outright evil and that Varian was a goody-goody makes very little sense to the plot itself. It's a shame, because everything is written fairly well and the song is gorgeous!
I think it's "For jeg har tapt mere enn du tror," not "tatt", which changes the meaning to "Because I have lost more than you think," not "I have taken more than you think." A subtle difference, and a subtle sound, but that is what makes more sense to me (I'm a native Norwegian speaker). I could be wrong, I haven't seen the lyrics listed. Another correction--"vett" actually means common sense, not wit. Otherwise, great job! I always love it when you come out with new translations, but especially when they're in Norwegian. The Danish ones are also always great, just because Danish sounds so inherently funny to us Norwegians. :-)
I think it makes more sense too because in the original she says she has nothing left to lose, so saying she has lost more than he thinks gets closer to the original meaning. "Mister troen" is also more like "lose faith" than "miss faith," though notice "mister" is translated as "lose" in other places so idk if this is done deliberately for the sake of variety, but this is part is actually p close to the original ("Then you'll see you'll lose your faith and lose your soul ")
@@mar_mar_33 Firstly, that’s not how the saying goes. Secondly, I am the guy you told to shut up and the guy who said that the Greek version of Next Stop Anywhere wasn’t bad.
Why is no one talking about the awesome work in the lip sync? The Scandinavian dubs don’t really care about that too much but this one is simply great, they actually changed many things of the original lyrics to have the lip sync correct. Does anyone know who is the lyricist?
im not a hater,i swear, but i feel like it just does not fit with the original song because its not the correct lyrics but thats only because i listen to this song on repeat
Jeez, Norwegian goes HARD in Disney songs. Love it.
She's not my favourite Cass but she fits the villain vibe perfectly and her voice is amazing.
Great job as usual. ;)
Yeah, we have like nothing more to add xD.
@@8is Good pun. ;) lol

Not bad, all things considering. Cassandra’s voice is pretty fitting, and Varian sounds decent.
Anyone else think she’s Elsas dark twin ?
Boy, she would have made an amazing Norwegian Elsa, instead of what we got...
I think I saw someone speculate that the animation for the black rocks was based on scrapped ideas for evil!Elsa.
Puoi mettere "Stronger That Ever Before" e "The Girl Who Has Everything" in italiano? Grazie

I thought the exact same thing!

Agreed! "Lose faith" is a better translation.
I'm not a native Norwegian speaker (but I'm Danish) & I think I can her a p sound more than a t sound too

Generally speaking, Disney Norway tends to care for lip synch a bit more than other Nordics
She kind of sounds a bit like Eden
Maybe do the Dutch one...?
Ok
Why are there italian captions lol
Because that's my native language
Ohh that makes sense@@FlamSparks
