Thanx once again for a great video!
I bought the 1.25 in 3v one month ago, and its quickly becoming my go to Knife. I actually didnˋt have that much expectations, just wanted the blade in my collections. Have been really impressed actually how versatile the blade is. Was afraid its going to be too thick, but naaah the blade geometry is fantastic. Cheers from Finland!

I used to have one of those. In fact, I think that is the first good fixed blade knife that I ever bought. I ended up selling that one and now I have a Bravo 1.25 LT because I wanted the extra blade length.

Thanks for your very informative and in-depth review overview of this particular knife going over the whole history of it and giving it a background make s me more informed to make a decision between the Bravo or the Bushcrafter.not sure yet but this definitely helps thanks

Sir, thank you for your review. I agree that the BRK Bravo 1 makes a great utility knife. I have the Bravo 1 without the thumb ramp. The sheath I received with mine is different from the one that you have. It is a very plain and basic leather sheath. It works alright, but it is hard to get a belt through and the knife rides high. I think you can still get a sheath like yours. I am hooked on Bark River knives. I like that they are made in the USA. They are expensive, but the quality and finish of these knives are first-rate. If anyone is thinking about buying a Bark River I think that you cannot go wrong. These knives will last you a lifetime. Thank you and God bless.

I have two Bravo 1 on preorder. A CruWear and a Magnacut LT version. All started with a Bravo 1.5 in 3V. Thanks for the awesome history lesson!

I have the 1.5 version. I love it except for the uneven grind on the blade.

I have that bravo 1, got it round 2008 or 9 from a friend that was a dealer. This is a excellent knife. On the early version the sheath didn’t have the holder for the ferro rod. But I really like this sheath, excellent quality and can be carried on a wide belt.

Look her brutal version "Mike Stewart" from Russian "Beaver Knives" with 6.2 mm blade, anatomic grip and Italian leather.

So I have yet to invest in BRK other than one used one. I'm skeptical honestly from what I've seen

Great video. I've been wanting to get a Bark River knife, that would definitely be the one to get. I live in Michigan and they are made here in the Upper Peninsula. Would have to save up for one. Didn't know they made knives for the military, that's great.
