This is one of my favorite games after just a couple plays. There is so much more thinking and combo-ing than most pure drafting games. Trying to make the most of the production chain is important, getting things built before they would produce is awesome.

Very much like Century Spice Road, but with a better theme and more choices.

I don't know, for me CS Road has being very boring and monotonous, but IWW I've already played over 20 times and still thrilled to play it more, because you don't need to wait to get your stuff going, like in CSR, in IWW once the drafting is over - it's rock-n-roll time!

Like century spice road crossed with 7 wonders

Exactly. The cards remind me of Century SR, but the gameplay is similar to 7 Wonders. I found Century a bit boring being restricted to one action a turn, so this looks like a better replacement for Century without creeping into Splendor territory. Great review.
