Great playthrough, thanks for sharing this. I was a bit worried this would just be a 7 Wonders clone, but it seems like there’s enough difference, especially with the dedicated solo mode.
I've decided to have my copy of this game from retail after watching your gameplay. In the past, I watched a couple of IIAWW gameplays from other channels, but so far yours is the smoothest one. Thanks, Mike!
Great play through. looks like a fun and quick game. At the end i think you missed 1 blue in your production phase (13 instead of 14), which would have let you get Rosewell built as well.
@@OneStopCoopShop because i am trying it now and with this rules of keeping only one card resources are far more scarce for recycling. Game is fun but somehow i can't mix my cards well enough and keep drawing copies of cards.
I am in my production phase, doing materials. I produce 1 material, I use to finish constructing my recycling plant. It goes to my empire. It produces two materials. Do I get those materials now or next production phase?
Next production phase. Production for a given resource type is all at once, before buildings are done. Now, if you used that 1 material to build something that produced a DIFFERENT resource, you would get that resource. That's why you go in the specified order, step by step.
You miscounted your blues in the last round you forgot to count the one on your civ card. You claimed 13 but you should have gotten 14 which would have given you just enough to claim the roswell card. That would have given you 9 more points and let you become a living god :).
You can reuse the ressources you piut on the empire card? I always thought you have to spend it right when you get them and everything on the empire card could only be traded for one crystallium?! EDIT: But great and helpful video anyway, thanks!
WOW, you really talk very fast ! Being British we speak more slowly! Sorry for sounding rude but I like the idea of the game but not sure if the rules!
At the start of gameplay, looks like you're getting a little AP... You guys doing these videos need to remember you have an audience and we really don't care watching you go through AP and explaning every option in detail. I guess that's the point of a solo "playthrough". I'd rather watch an accelerated playthrough where your choices are made more quickly so we can see how this works without all the AP drama. ONe reason I cannot watch Rahdo vids :(. It would also be helpful if instead of explaining the game, then playing without explaining, to do this instead; explain it WHILE you play. I've seen too many videos where some dude trys to explain a game, then proceeds to play it and doesnt explain what he's doing. Explaining games without playing it at the same time is the wrong approach.
It's interesting to hear this feedback, when usually what I hear is that my plays are much faster than just about anyone else's, and people either appreciate that or think I'm going a little TOO quickly. Sorry if this vid wasn't very helpful for you!
“Remember you have an audience and WE don’t care......” ummm, since when were you the voice of US?!! Don’t assume you represent the masses bud, most of us have been enjoying these vids for years so stop being so self entitled.
I was actually impressed by the speed at which the decisions were made considering the variety of options. The explanation at the beginning was quick and to the point and with it out of the way you get a faster playthrough afterwards. I really think this was a good video.
0:50 = Set-Up
1:56 = Basics of Play
5:22 = Playthrough
Thank you for this. And the edit makes it zip by quick. Really cool
that's a great set up! easy for saving space and tracking rounds. great job, as always...
Oh, thanks! When I'm playing a game 10 times in a week to prep for a video, you know I'm going to find little shortcuts ;)
Great playthrough, thanks for sharing this. I was a bit worried this would just be a 7 Wonders clone, but it seems like there’s enough difference, especially with the dedicated solo mode.
For sure! Nothing wrong with having both games in your collection, I’d say.

Great! Glad you liked the play :)
Thanks for this great playthrough. I just bought the game and have been having so much fun playing solo.
It’s a fun one! Glad you are enjoying it

YoungSlimOne oh man, really? More points!!! YESSSSS :)
Thanks for the playthrough video! It's perfectly clear. :)
Glad you found it helpful!
You could have had 14 blues at the final round, not 13, so with that only one extra blue you could have built both Roswell and Alexander Tomb.
I am pretty sure that when you dig for 5 card you must discard 4 of them without any recycling bonus and keeping only 1 .
You might be right! Been years since I played this

@@OneStopCoopShop thank you
wow great score! I tried it out this evening. 20 points xD Had no idea what to do =) Great video
You’ll be outscoring me soon!

It's an even more wonderful world than I thought! :)
Great looking game, would you think of doing another play through with the expansion?
I sent my copy to Colin, so he might at some point.
A really nice surprise at the end of 2019. Not the game of the year, but fun nonetheless.
I agree! Wasn't sure what to expect, but I've really enjoyed it. Review is coming tomorrow so you can hear all about it :)

No, you're right. Resources on your empire card can only be traded. Did I mess that up in the playthrough?
You need to do -15 pts when you play a A card like in this game wtih Aztec A ;)
How many times can you dig for cards? Is there a limit? Thanks
Not sure, sorry! This is a 3 year old video and I haven’t played since 😅😅
The only limit is your hand. Remember, you discard two cards to gain one.
Would you prefer this over 7 Wonders?
André Thannhäuser I discuss that exact question in my review video tomorrow!
But, in short... yes :)
this reminds me alot of the manhattan project card came
Cool! I only played the board game version
Shame you have to minus 15 points for the A side, but great video nonetheless! Fantastic game, too!
WOW, you really talk very fast ! Being British we speak more slowly!

See if playing it on x.75 speed helps out. This is an older video so I've slowed down some since then :)

One Stop Co-op Shop it was helpful to the rest of us, keep up the great work and remember...you can’t please everyone and why should you 👍

Whiny much. Egocentrical much more
