Imagine slow dancing in the kitchen/living room with the love of your life while this song is softly playing in the background.
I discovered this song during the lockdown and spent many an evening doing exactly as you described. It was glorious.
No need for imagination, my friend ❤
I was JUST thinking how incredible it would be to dance with my crush to this song. What an incredible tune ❤️
@@snackropolisyou’re living the life my friend
Amen ❤
I could spend ages listening to Rachel's voice...
The bass, the trumpet and that voice. I stumbled upon this song on Spotify weekly discovery.
You guys are killing it!!
Same here!
I came across them from a Chris Stapleton playlist... Bloody amazing
Troll😡. Take your stupid comments elsewhere!!
Same here on pandora....love these guys. So glad I heard them. Rachael's voice is amazing
Same here 😂
This track will still be a banger 200 years from now. Bet.
Let's take a minute and give Mike Olson some love. His Trumpet work on this track is outfreakingstanding. He plays incredibly well while not blowing the mic off of the stand.
This group is like musical cocaine
Wow....she's killin that stand up bass....and the young lady's voice is soulful.
This band is nothing less than incredible. Heals my broken soul
I come back to this video everyday , seriously
I am so head over heels for this band.
me too! obsessed!
Lyrics:
I could spend ages reading the news
I could spend days, singing the blues
But I turn up the tv light
Give up without a fight
Better than pretending to know what's wrong and what's right
I could spend ages asking myself why
There's a million ways that I could say goodbye
But I turn down the lights
Come on baby come inside
Better then being some fool's bride
Better than pretending to know what's wrong and what's right
Turn down the lights
Come on baby, come inside
Better than pretending to know what's wrong and what's right
Better than being some fool's bride
Well it's better than pretending to know what's wrong and what's right
Oh what's wrong, and what's right
Yeah 😍
Wow this is so beautiful. Bless you all for sharing such talent and emotion.
I’m not sure how this song got on my phone but I was immediately in love oh my goodness. I had to hear a live version
I can’t believe you guys aren’t bigger. You have it all, it’s true and real soul moving music. Keep it up.
It's a sad commentary on the state of music. I feel rich for finding these guys.
Unfortunately...real , true music...being done by actual musicians with talent and soul are fading away...however, lucky for us, every so often a group pops up and reminds us what music is supposed to be...a conjurer of memories of good and bad, and something that truly moves a humans soul in ways that isn't possible by any other means
Love love love this song. Just discovered this band, and I’m obsessed. Pure joy to hear.
I don't know what to love best; the bass, the voice, the drums or the horn!
I haven't had a worthy sound system for quite a while, like only the speakers on my Mac. Sad, yes. Worse is, once I put the headphones on I realized how much of Bridget's bass I was missing. She is so much the heartbeat of this band and is just an incredible player (and composer). They all have great chops on their instruments. Not the least of which is Rachael and her voice, of course.
Just discovered these guys - my god that voice!
This band is much better than many artists and bands that are at the top, even remembers Beatles, simple and perfect
This song is absolutely terrific. I wish they still played it.
I saw them this week at the Ryman in Nashville, and they actually played it! First time I had ever heard them play it live- it was incredible!
I too saw them at the Ryman. Loved them so much that we also went to the second show. Soooo amazing!!!!! Rachel's voice had me hypnotized
Accidentally showed up with the video speed at 1.25x and it sounds like a Motown song from the mid '60s
this song is underrated and I love it
That is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life.
Can’t believe I just stumbled across this in the last couple weeks!! It’s been playing daily since @lakestreetdive The Voice, the bass, the brass is amazing! Such a good band!
Are you kidding me? That’s as thick as it gets. Music at its best
This band never gets boring - many thanks for that!
sounds amazing, this band is growing in the right direction. luv these guys.

YEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
In the zone 2:25
God I love that stand up bass tone. Fantastic band. I still say they should add some keys but they're bad @ss without too, The keys would just make it over the top.
this is amazing!I just wish there was a bit more reverb on her Vox its dry af
I wish I had her voice, and I’m a guy
Trumpet dude kinda missed the mark IMO, but otherwise incredible performance for such a beautiful song
Bass chick is a cutie
Missing that organ tho :/
:)
They're good together, but that Rachael is absurd all by herself.
trumpet during the verse is horrible.. big mistake there
it was perfect for this song. its called droning
I loved it.
Thanks Miranda love this song life hurts we've all been there.
