I love this song. Her voice is amazing. The dynamics of the song and the quiet breakdown is just so great I can't even put it into words how much I love the feel of this band.

more than just a great band, these guys are great for music and exactly what we need right now. they booked the magic bag in ferndale, sold it out, and by the time they made it to town they could have sold out a venue five times the size. people are starving for this.

I like the stand up bass and the soulful vibe of the vocals. Wish they had some keys as well, I think it'd really add to the dynamic. Just my opinion though. It's still pretty good as is but I can't help but imagine it with keys.
Oh man, now that you've said that I can't get the thought of keys out of my head either, ha. I'm totally with ya. This song is great and the vocals are absolutely killer, but it feels slightly hollow without keys, horns or something else. Also just my opinion. To each his own.
Yeah see?! at least I'm not the only one who felt that way. I think the keys would have really added backing behind the already beautiful vocals and really fit in the pocket between the bass and drums.
The album version has organ accompaniment and it is sweet. Sweet like candy.
