3:30 IDK if anyine else noticed, but I like the detail of Tails seemingly noticing Furnace coming up ahead from under the road like Sonic himself does in the good future version of Prey. Just a shame his warning appeared to come an instant too late.

And tails isn't playable in Sonic CD (outside of the recent collection game, of which the mode you can play as Tails is not canon). Likewise, you don't see any animals in Sonic CD to begin with, so why would Sonic mention not seeing any for miles? Lastly, Sonic CD takes place on Little Planet and it being large enough for Sonic to specify 'miles' itself is a bit of a stretch. This isn't even mentioning Eggman, who is seen with a Time Stone at the end of Sonic CD carrying it away from Little Planet, meaning they could be kept and have their powers used beyond the planet. Ultimately it probably takes place off of Little Planet, and so it would be reasonable Sonic and Tails could have collected the Chaos Emeralds.
(Not a logical explanation but a head cannon) The part where Tails sees him and starts singing, he's trying to warn him but Starved Eggman distracts Sonic with banter and taunts
tails sounds good, i like the transference of preys vocals (atleast i think thats prey vocals). the only problem us that i can't tell if my pc is lagging or if it's the video itself lagging

This should be the real mechanic: Tails is somewhere at the bar, at the left side. If Sonic doesn’t get enough score, he dies and fully touches the other side of the bar. But if Sonic gets TOO much score, Sonic will be too fast for furnace/starved eggman so they will go for Tails instead, considering it the bad ending!

There are 2 things I’d like to say. Sonic has gotten cut and technically stabbed before. Metal Sonic has sharp claws and has an overcharged dash attack. Sonic won’t get knocked out or die from it. Plus he can just time travel or jump over to kill Eggman
Plus, Sonic dies to Furnace bc he ends up running straight into the oven located inside of Furnaces chest. He basically ended up slamming into a lit fire and was cooked alive
I don't do covers, but maybe in a later version of this mod I can add your idea, for now I'm thinking about trying to rescue a mod abandoned by its own creator.

Theres a mod for prey but its the good future where sonic turns super sonic and survives instead of him dieing from furnace theres a 1.0 versoion and a 2.0 and the last version is 3.0
In the mobile version of Sonic CD, you can play as Tails, after finishing the levels with Sonic. I don't know if it is the same in other versions of the game.
