Only comment I would make is the stop needs a washer and 3/8” nut on top to lock the setting so there is no movement once it is set. Other than that addition I like it a lot. Handy tool to find TDC.

How far in would u screw in the inner bolt?
I would say 1/2". Remember to rotate the engine by hand.
