Just as Plup does, Wizzy tends to close his eyes after getting the grab on the tech chase. That way his eyes don’t get so dry after Lucky takes his sip of water.

There's no sham in spamming. If it works it's the opponent's fault for not having an answer.
I hope Scar is able to change his perspective. Once he's free of these burdens he'll play so much better.
It's especially hard for him since he was for a long time one of those shit talkers lol. It's good that he's turned around to this extent, though still has a way to go.
Scar was also one of the most aggressive and stylish players, so it's hard for him to let go of that playstyle

@@MrSlowpez10 oh for sure, that's why making Top 100 (his goal) would be a massive accomplishment in and of itself. The average melee player now is so, so much better than even 2-3 years ago.

@@cungpao81 It was kinda my roundabout way of saying to not hold your breath lol. Scar is a husband and a father now. I don't even have kids but being a homeowner and married cuts down the time necessary to be able to compete with the real pro players. Unfortunately I think Scar's days of truly competing with the best are over :/

If some longshot chance it ever does though, that'd be pretty ridiculous. Being that removed from competing in the current meta into being a real threat would be pretty unprecedented

Bro there's just something about the mind of someone playing a fighting game competitively that's just absolutely ridiculous. There are those little things that I haven't accounted for such as grabbing, when you grab, which characters love to do it versus which ones don't and why, and so much more stuff. Like what the fuck. I wish I had another way of saying it but it's just absolutely big brain.
Yeah this is my biggest issue. I consider myself extremely intelligent (arrogant I know), but I can’t even begin to comprehend how mango, who barely graduated high school, is able to keep 50x more options and potential scenarios in his head mid fucking game.
(Not a knock, mangos doing better than me financially-just goes to show how many different kinds of intelligences there are)

i saw someone say wizzy closes his eyes on the throw tech chases, he totally did, does anyone know why he does this? does it just make it easier for him to react to the tech?
I believe the reason why is because it allows him to rest his eyes for a bit. His tech chases go on for a while, and if he didn't blink the whole time it would hurt his eyes and make him tear up and all but he can't just randomly blink during the tech chases because he might miss it. Since he knows that during the throw animation nothing else is happening aside from the animation he has time to close his eyes without worrying of missing anything in game. I don't know if I explained that well enough but I hope it makes sense

why tf does everyone bring up stomp knee? literally all of the characters have confirms, shine dair? up throw up air? up throw rest? down tilt fair? even mid tiers, docs got up smash fair, dk up cargo giant punch, roy down tilt fsmash. like stop acting like falcon is the only one that has a reliable kill confirm, fox has like a billion

I feel like its a meme making fun of the old era (maybe now too) of getting hyped at everything falcon does, even if its as simple as stomp knee
@Reno Quichca fox shine near the edge kills the entire cast in two hits at any percent and you can react to di on up throw up air, and sheik down tilt fair, and up throw rest, whats your point? and saying its like rest is not giving anywhere near enough credit to rest, since it kills at actual 10%, falcon knee does not. And saying its a confirmed kill off a read, requires you to win neutral and then get a read, similar to how marth has to first get a grab to do something like a chain grab? you know win neutral -> punish
That’s sort of true, but remember that stomp has a bigger hit box than all of the other openers you listed, and links to knee at a wider range of percent. It’s also an arial which means it can be drifted and done OOS.
and stomp is like frame 14, + jump squat + any air time in-between, its not a fast option and if someone is spamming it you can play around it, fox can dash dance grab it, or dd shine > whatever he wants since shine is set knockback
