Thank you all for watching and I will see you all in the next video :))
I hope you enjoyed and sorry for geeking out over sexy bikes.... I love seeing these things in person.... also I did a break down of some of the new shimano in here as well for each part
Seeing the DA come onto the market, nice.
But the price is insane. 😯
It's all that damm cuban coffee you drink
Can you do some videos based on what you’ve come across during your time in the cycling industry? Do a story time on maybe some theft in your store, horrible customers, big spenders, poor products you’ve come across, crashes & racing ETC. I love this channel, I reckon you could excel in so many other topics within the industry. Thanks GC.
thats actually a really cool idea.... I will for sure do that one day
@@GCPerformance18 awesome! 😊 thanks bud.
"God, I gotta go to the gym!" 😂😂🤣🤣 At least you are honest.
I go to the gym so much and I feel pretty in shape but i guess the awkward hsape who knows...... I looked like a lil bitch doe lol
What's truly "absolutely insane" is the price
Truly and utterly.
it is isspensive
Sick looking bike right there . Love the look of those Cadex 65 wheels also . Great video
yea this build came out so nice
The frame geometry just looks so good and curvy
yea the bike looks fast
Thank you for showing the weight in metric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mentioned it in a really rude way in another one of your videos (apologies), and your reply was so nice. Literally subscribed to your channel because of that. Love your content. The sounds you made in that squeeze test were hilarious 😂
you are very welcome, thanks so much and I try to support and get back to all comments when I can
Actually kinda heavy. But it could just be the deep wheels and disc grouppo. I still have not yet seen a rim brake variant in the wild.
I've weighted one without pedals, sram red axs and prc 1400 at 6.9kg
Any bike under 8 kg is lightweight
That thing weighs as much as my custom aluminum Émonda in a size 56. That color makes it a looker though there’s no arguing that!
color is top notch
Something about how the F12 looks, makes it looks a bit iconic to Pinarello. The F looks more like a flawless concept CAD design before any brand has had a chance to work on it.
16.10 lbs for $17K? That is insane, my 5 year old Colnago is less than 15 lbs.
It is beautiful I have to say!
yea but i mean 65mm depth wheels
work your ftiness or lose weight big deal 1lb
So weight is all you care about? That’s what decides everything?
Don't like the silver eeatpost.. but that’s me. Id have to do a hydro dip and get it black with a very subtle design
I love the painted seatpost look I think it will be a thing to come for all companies
Crazy how few Pinarellos I see in my area. Live in a town full of doctors/lawyers/finance people so it isn't like money is lacking!
lmao maybe because of avaiblitly
What do you see? Cervellos and BMCs around my parts. Shame, not many Bianchis though
It’s more like Pinarello is super niche. Every time I think I want to buy a Pinny, I always end up getting something else. I ended up going S Works.
Nice Build! I like colors on bikes.
the color is so nice, silver is really solid looking
@@GCPerformance18 i agree. Pinarellos are flashy bikes and colors make them pop on any group ride. The Orange F12 is absolutely stunning. I have an F10 on Cideral White and find as sexy as the day I bought it.
8:03 ah yes, I am feeling froggy because I am a frog. My best friend is Kermit.
hahahhaha
Beautiful bike indeed. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful bike. But 17k 😳 And compact gearing in Florida? That thing needs a 55-42 up front.
lol I have only seen a compact crank for the new durace for some reason I do not know
Wow, you must be Jan Ullrich, props to you.
The biggest problem with getting the dogma here, isn’t the money, but the stock availability.
we are starting to see more and more of them pop up
Definitely my favorite build you featured yet!
thanks
Great review as always! But can I ask if you could do a comparison video between a s-works venge/tarmac sl7 and a pinarello dogma f12/f?
Finally saw one of these in my LBS, over 2 thousand more expensive than the F12s in there!
yea they are more money for the latest model, but how good looking was it in person
@@GCPerformance18 It was absolutely incredible. Its my goal bike I've set for myself, once I get to the weight I want to be at and stay there for a year.
Surprised to see people still going with compact 50/34 cranks on ultra high end bikes instead of semi-compaxt 52/36 now that you can get 11-30 and 11-34 cassettes.
I think it was just what they had in stock. I don’t know why
Because it's better gearing for all but professional cyclists..
Super clean build 👌 beautiful work dude
Glad you like it!
How do you compare this to sl7 as to ride qualities? Which one is more agile and aero?
after TREK every one is doing the brushed chrome decals.
how is the downtube on this frame?:)
lmao I love the brushed color
Salute GCP número uno beautiful bici 🙏👍🔥💯🇵🇷
Now that's a beautiful bike! I own a 2021 Prince. The performance is mind blowing. I use Mavic Comete Pro SL 65mm wheels. I think the performance of the Pinarello Prince is better than my Cannondale System Six? That bike is 15,000 Euros here in Europe.
Absolutely beautiful bike. Thanks again for such great content!
thanks so much!!! I ho9pe u are enjoying the tarmac still
It looks like a black and white movie from the old days. But beautiful bike
it does right
With the new DA Di2 wireless setup, are sprint shifters still possible, or do you need to run wires like 9170?
No you can still plug in the older sprint shifters into here. The new shifters still have ports for them
@@GCPerformance18 Thx. Just watched another vid where the guy attached sprint shifters to them. ua-cam.com/video/ARzsCVObM3I/v-deo.html
I think we've moved beyond dentist bike into radiologist, or crypto magnate bike. She sure is pretty, but I'd be nervous as hell for the paint work every time I hit a rock, rolled over a dead iguana, parked it at the coffee stop or *God forbid* had to ride in the wet.
this is an expensive bike
Quick Question, I want to get some Princeton Carbonworks Wheels, but I'm not sure what hub type to go with. Does it really matter that much? What are the advantages, if any if I go with the more expensive option?
just preference really but the tune and white industry are nice all the princetons I got were tune
I thought Pinarello used Italian threads on their BB's? Pinarello has stated for the first time about bringing improved compliance to this bike. Any feedback as previous Dogma's have measures to be a bit more unforgiving than others? Granted its a pure race bike and an unapologetic one for that, but a little compliance goes a long way on helping prevent tire chatter on broken pavement.
I do not know the compliance but this is italian threaded bb
Hey GC, how would you say the geometry of this Pinarello Dogma F compared to the Specialized Sworks Tarmac SL7?
Very similar to sizes. But the best thing is they have half sizes
Amazing, because I’m a size 52cm in the SL7, but I just bought the size 50cm in the F
“Hey hows it going everyone gc performance here”…. 😆🤣😂
lmao what is so funny
pinarello é dez incrível.
:))
Thanks for the nice Video! Can you make a comparision between the Dogma F and the Tarmac SL 7?That World be useful-perhaps although with the Trek Madone SL9?Thanks a lot for your perfekt Vids-greetings Tom
Great suggestion!
Excellent video as usual, very informative and watchable to the end👍I’m expecting delivery of my Emonda SLR9 in a couple of days which must be one of the first in the U.K and I’m now really looking forward to it after your reviews on the new Dura Ace. I have a holiday home in beautiful Clearwater….. where about is your store?
Unless i see a squeeze test on the downtube i'm saying its a replica.
Joking ofc. Beautiful bike.
hahahhaha
18k = Freaking out the whole freakin ride
hahahhah
7,5kg? Taglia bike? Peso ruote? Grazie
It will be nice from you if you can make some tests by mixing the new R9100 (or R8100) with the old R9000/R8000 transmission.
I mean by that, i have an Ultegra R8000 crankset and i would like to know if i can use it with the new R8100 tranmission (chain, derailleur etc...).
And to see if the 12 speed chain works on a 11 speed cassette and crankset and vice-versa.
Was wondering about this too because of the new 160mm cranks
Yes you can. Should work with 11sp crankset. Also a 12 speed chain will work fine with 2x11 setup but not with 1x11
pinarelo religion !!
:))
why pinarello paint only setpost, not stems/handlebars or wheels?
I think because of ware and tare
bugs me that the seatpost and seat tube aren't closer to flush
thats always looked like that onpionarello
I picked mine up today with Dura-Ace C36 wheels though. I am a little sad it doesn't come with a powermeter at this pricepoint.
that is awesome!!! and yea I know I think shimano is stil working on getting those out thats why alot of bikes are not coming stock with a pm, same with the sworks tarmac sl7 with shimano but the sram version does because they have it avaiubloe
who makes to water bottle cages? nice bike !
I do not know the bike is long gone now I am sorry
You said you might sound overhyped talking about this bike, but how can you not while while talking about this “effing” beauty? (Pun intended)
thats what I am saying, this bike is so nice in person
Well done sir 😊🚴♂️ride safe
Thanks ✌️
The bike Looks wow, Beautiful. But the price tag, I’m good.
yea the price stops people int ehre tracks
My dream bike!
this bike is a work of art
Sorry for my bad English-it World be nice, when you explain your subjective advantages and disadvantages of These bikes in your opinion-1000 thanks
Where is the squeeze test??? Bikes got to get the frame squeeze test from now on 😆
hahahahha
TOOOO heavy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dogma F supposed to be half a pound lighter than F12..? My F12 rim brake model in 55 size is the almost same weight as this one. It's probably disc to disc comparison I suppose.
ahhh okay thank you for that I appreicate it
Hmm.. I'm just wondering how Ineos will make Dogma F at 6.8kg They still need Lightweight wheels (probably tubs) I guess..
Man looks sweet
yea it is
Funny, from the naysayers, you’d think that cycling was a weightlifting championship.
Or maybe the reason why they care for weight, is coz they need to blame the bike instead of themselves as they keep losing.
lmao I know, its a literal pound and they act like its the difference of getting dropped or not, this is a full aero bike with massive aero wheels and cages and pedals on there, not bad at all
This is a custom bike that costs a small fortune. And it can't get close to 6.8kg (a psychological milestone).
For us normies much much further down the food chain, this is now a 9kg bike.
And everyone CAN feel the difference between a 7.5kg and a 9kg bike.
So when those of us are used to a sub-8kg (low/mid end) rim bike are looking to upgrade, we want to see more exotic materials, higher groupsets.... not 1kg extra to heft up a hill. Few of us are cycling to be heroic, but a light bike makes us feel that way.
So yes, 1kg does matter, especially when it's associated with a higher price tag.
Or not?
@@pigeonpoo1823 You must be Marco Pantani, hey man!
@@pigeonpoo1823 so basically, you’re just mentally weak?
Lol and that 3kg actually makes very little difference.
5kg literally results in only 0.4kmph, and your power meter will likely tell you that the a try al wattage increase in very minimal.
So, yea, if you find yourself slower; it’s likely to be just in your head. You are unlikely to be going fast enough for that the matter. Heck, even a change of tyres would make a larger difference than that 5kg lol.
@@87togabito you're absolutely right. In every respect. Can't disagree.
But the subjective feel of a lighter bike is what I desire.
a 9kg Prince will not feel as much fun as a 6.8kg rim Emonda. They would both cost comparably (ish) in today's money.
So all I'm saying is that some people may prefer the feel and fun factor of a lighter slower bike on shallow rims than the outright pace of a heavier bike.
Just because you can afford a Tesla Model S doesn't mean you've cheaped-out by buying a Cayman.
Have a nice day
Hello, on the Ceramicspeed homepage its written: Please note while there is design similarities this OSPW is not compatible with the 12-speed Shimano 9200 or 8100 series derailleurs. Could you tell me the Partnummer of your OSPW?
That OSPW is not compatible. There will be a specific 9200/8100 launched in November. Small yet required adjustments to the mounting pin and rotation stop tower.
@@paulsollenberger7103 thx. highly appreciated your feedback. That was my understanding.
That thread in bleed port ❤❤❤
shit is need
Lobe your reviews Grant!
thank you very much
Thats so heavy
how many tooth range for the front Mech?
they can go up to a 54t
@@GCPerformance18 I meant what is the number of teeth between the small ring and the large ring is it more than 17 teeth
This makes me want to cry
Lol why
@@GCPerformance18 It is the coolest yet hottest thing.
18k honestly not suprised
Yea I know. Im sure
what a beauty she is
hell yea
imagine crashing it on your first ride.
hahahahh wtf
What's the tire clearance on this?
I beliuve it can go uip to a 30
@@GCPerformance18 thanks.
whats the size of this frame?
55
This is the China Pinarello from Aliexpress, right?
fug no
I'll still take that white addict thank you very much 👍😄
the white addict was amazing i miss that thing
What bike stand is that?
specialized stand they do not sell it
Arent the chain too short?
no the chain is not
This is an f12 ??
this is the new dogma f
17k bike prob 💖💖💖
yea I think they sold it for 17.5 plus tax
same price as a 2022 Honda Civic lmao
Yes, what a total scam! I guess people pay it....
people who are buying this would not buy a honda civic doe...... I dont look at my gym membership monthly and be like damn this could fed a family for a week.... naw what im saying
@@GCPerformance18 I do :) no hate, its just amazing at how much research and development costs they lump consumers with. Marginal gains is expensive I guess.
still heavier than the SL7 with the recall plug :) lol
hahahha yea but htese have massive 65 deep dish carbon wheels
Ah yes, not to mention sl7 is way more aero than this right
@@HardiKhu Define "way more aero" Haha
@@peteravolio2695 im replying to edward kohn, if you get what i mean tho
If I’m spending that kind of cash on a bike it’s gonna have one too many ‘R’s in the name and make about 200hp at the crank.
I dont like motorcycles but I understand people like different things
It's a shame that the disc brakes ruined the look and the aerodynamic of this bicycle. 😞. Disc brakes is the biggest marketing scam in the history of bicycles. Very sad.
I like the look of them at first I ddi not but I guess seeing them over and over again I prefer it noww and rim brakes just look boring to me but it is just my preference
Instead of struggling with one arm trying to weigh it just strap the instrument onto a bike stand 🤣
I’m not at my store and I don’t want to be in the way at that store so I just do it outside lol
A kilo heavier then GCNs weigh in with their 56 size bike? What the?
hahahha maybe it is the wheels idk but this is a real world weight with nothing to benefit, I do not sell pinarello or nothing
too bad about the discs
they look nice
Espetáculo
:))
$17k bike sold. Wow
lmao this thing ahs been sold, people wanted to buy more
$18k your a** better not get dropped on the first roller, that’s all I’m saying.
lol it wil happen
this beauty ! oh my god, i need to earn more money !
this bike screams beautiful
So what whats the point
lmao what u mean, it is a super nice bike
In before anyone goes “OMGWTFBBQCHICKEN … my 1996 Cannondale with steel this and alloy that was only 1kg … lulz disc brakes”
hahahhahah it wil always coime no matter what
@@GCPerformance18 too true!
And it's a 96 Cannondale...
This guy talks a million miles a second.
lmao im sorry.... I try to dleiver information and then I forget and get rushed... I am working on slowing it down
Lol shaky arms 🤣. My guy take your own advise new hands and new arms. You the best though...
im pretty jacked but for some reason I guess the angle and everything I shake so much holding it up
🙉🤔🥺
Would not world:-)
That Dogma heavy AF. LOL
no it aint that aint bad for a size 56 and massive deep 65 aero wheels
@@GCPerformance18 just kidding. Really making fun of your hand shaking during the weighing. Sick bike bruh.
Fantastic looking bike but for that money it is sadly just too HEAVY.
Slow Down! Stop drinking coffee ....
lmaoo I am sorry I speak way to fast
17k. Lol
hahaha
I feel sorry for the customer wit those wheels and tyres. They've been tested as slower than slow.
lmao
shaky arms ...10oz!!! lol..someone needs to do some core workouts : )
I guess it was the angle I was holding it but man I looked like a bitch lol
17 or 18 grand rolls off your tongue like charging $2.99 for a tube! This is a bicycle not a car..beyond stupid..no faster than a 4000 grand bike with wheels...so 14000 for the coolness factor? Or to use your words"sexy"..youtube is the new comedy central..
hahahha it aint my price I am just readinug the info
Ugliest finishing tape.
hahahha
You need to go the gym. Shaking at 7.6kg's 😂
hahahha
