I get that Gary V has his insufferable moments, but just the first 5 minutes he unpacks a lot of shit, and I think most people that use this lazy take of he says a lot without saying anything, are just dumb and not able to follow along
Pretty wild that Gary can talk about his great great grand kids seeing clips of him on the internet down the line, acknowledging his notoriety, then in the same breath mention how humble he is, is astonishing to witness. Real head scratching stuff to listen to.
Gary Vee. The Human Shtcoin
Why is Gary Vee a human "shtcoin"? Did he do something scummy recently? I haven't really seen him since 2016-17ish and then peripherally saw him get really big maybe a little before covidera... did something major happen or did he just fall out of the limelight and his voice/opinions grow old?
I wouldn't bank on digital media transcending time. Remember, all this digital "content" is a bunch of 1's and 0's stored on a server somewhere that does have a shelf life. If you're reading this, and you want to make a true and significant impact on this earth, shift your focus to physical work/content that will actually transcend time. Nothing is forever, but digital content is basically static noise that will eventually dissipate.
I like your perspective and have been thinking the same. Where are all the video tapes and cassettes of the past? All gone. So, not long after this will it probably all be gone. There may be a few exceptions here and there, but thats about it.
I’d say the majority of digital content will be transitory in years to come and that platforms won’t last forever. It’s hard to believe there will be a world without UA-cam but there is a more than probable chance that it too has a shelf life.

Felt like I was lied to and like a parent cheated because he was so instrumental in helping me break a toxic mindset.
