Good to see that he still can't be blown off the stage even by someone of Kikos caliber. I think they are great together! I cant say enough about them. Dirk absolutely kills it too!

Agree. I love Friedman, but I actually became more of a Kiko fan. Kiko to me is more dynamic. Not that Friedman isn't, just Kiko has this style I really really enjoy. And with Dave together.. Holy Moly man. They actually really really compliment each other very well. As for Megadeth styles, Kiko has that Poland fusion thing meets his own Kiko style. It's weird, you can hear it on a few of his own solos throughout Kiko's solo album, and on Dystopia. Anyhow. Kiko and Dave rule, and Dirk is kicking ass well. I really believe this is a solid lineup, and obviously inspiring for Mustaine. After The System Has Failed, the albums with Broderick were just "ok". IMHO. The songwriting was kind of in limbo. There were good tracks here and there. Then Dystopia came out. It was familiar, but brand new, and in your face. The songs flowed more and so on. It sounded recharged, refreshing etc. Can't wait for the new album.

A big kid on tour around the world and just enjoying everything. There is one his daughter is with him backstage and he is running around playing with her right before he walks on stage. Its so great. He is the only Megadeth guitar player I havent seen them with live. I have to cure that lol. Just hope they come closer than the 5 hours is the closest right now. But I am sooo excited to hear the new stuff. That 30 second teaser they released sounded Thrash and I am excited.
For Me Friedman is GOD. It also helps that he played on the most successful albums (rust in peace, countdown to extinction and youthanasia) said that i love Kiko's playing and composing chops since Angra days.

Same. Marty will always be one of my 3 favorite guitarists of all-time, but when it comes to guitar skills, knowledge and versatility, Kiko is leagues ahead of him. I'd put Kiko on Guthrie Govan's level (Kiko easily held his own when they both jammed together, there's a video on this site).

James is an underrated bass player, it feels like he never left...excellent musician!
You should hear Dave's voice now so much better after touring again the show i saw in September was phenomenal and his voice took me by surprise. Almost studio quality for the song sweating bullets.

A truly magnificent recording. I saw them live but they didn't play Dystopia or COD. Despite everything, their concerts were extraordinary, I will watch them again when I have the opportunity.
The greatest that you are an incredible David! Mr Mustaine, the prayers and love of his fans continued his return on stage. And even bigger than with everything and the health problems that he went through, he continues to make excellent music. I really consider myself one of the greatest teachers of the genre.
