    I switched to T Mobile from AT&T and when I finally got out of the AT&T contract I told them that I would go without a mobile phone before I would ever use them again! AT&T is the only company I have ever had tell me they are raising rates because they were losing customers! The will be extinct someday!

    Never had a problem with Sprint customer service. Only made me mad that all the deals were for new customers and not existing ones.

    I've been with T-Mobile since they switched over from voicestream 16 yrs ago so they are virtually the only carrier I know I've never had a major problem that couldn't be fixed and I'd like to think my the money for whatever plan I had at the time was reasonable compared to other carriers hopefully this will be a good deal

    I am opposed to the merger because the same thing is going to happen when AT&T got bought out by singular and what happened then singular changed your name to AT&T the same thing is going to happen which means that is basic long to be either Sprint or T-Mobile at the end of the day that's the company name that they going to use either Sprint or T-Mobile you're not going to keep the other side just like Cingular did to AT&T and then change your name to AT&T remember that be opposed through the merger and that also means higher prices for your cell phone so again be opposed to the merger call up the FCC call up the FTC who ever you got to call up make sure you say no to the make sure you say no to the merger thanks

    Here are some important points about the potential merger.
    Sprint's network would eventually be decommissioned and replaced with a stronger T-Mobile network.
    All Sprint customers gain access to T-Mobile's network.
    All spectrum assets Sprint owns would be merged with T-Mobile, allowing for both companies to deploy one network, instead of two, which means MASSIVE savings (Part of why T-Mobile claims it will reduce prices, technically it's possible, but realistically, we'll have to see).
    Why is this merger a good idea?
    Sprint is a failure. They have massive piles of debt, and have little future. Their best option is to merge to stay afloat.
    T-Mobile (In my opinion) is the best entity to merge with. They both operate mobile networks, and T-Mobile is a consumer friendly company and has good leadership. Verizon or AT&T purchasing Sprint would effectively just remove competition, but T-Mobile purchasing Sprint would create a stronger competitor from two relatively weak competitors.
    And it would be absurd for a non carrier to purchase Sprint, as they'd inherit the same issues Sprint faces today, (Terrible outdated network, budget conscious customers, and debt) without the need for the good sides of Sprint (Spectrum, customers).

    • @dennisp8520
      @dennisp8520 6 років тому +2

      It means we will get better coverage, in the long term but worse coverage in the short term since a lot of work has to be done to convert Sprints network over to the standards used by T-mobile. Also all of Sprints customers will be piggybacking off the T-mobile network that is in place while this happens which means a lot of congestion in areas with even one cell site down for upgrades. It’s gunna be rough but really beneficial to the company in the long haul.
      Prices will probably be raised with a unlimited plan costing in the ball park of $240 for 4 lines instead of $160 since they will have less competition and want to raise revenue to pay for all the investments being made. I mean this is going to be far from cheap.

    Never had any issues with my T-Mobile service, use to have sprint when they first merged with Nextel and I use to try to defend their service until I tried tmobile, I went to At&t first to give it shot and see what is all the talk about their service and honestly didnt seen what the fuss was about, all I saw was my bill being so high for that crappy service, and not to mention T-Mobile was still offering unlimited data.

    This is AWSOME BUT YET SO ANNOYING! As a Sprint customer what should I expect if this deal goes through?!?! Do I have to do something cool like take my phone into a T-Mobile store and get my Sprint phone re-programmed? Being that I’m currently with Sprint would this mean I’m now with T-Mobile? Same for T-Mobile cutstomers....what should they expect? All these analysts keep dancing around the question! 5G is cool and all but how is this merger gonna effect me directly? Can someone please chime in?!?! Thanks!!!!

    Prices will go up. Canada and France lost a carrier and prices spiked up. The best for consumers is to have all 4 carriers in the U.S. Cell phone service for these 2 carriers just will continue to improve.

  • @steezmac732
    @steezmac732 6 років тому

    People complaining about coverage should know that it depends on your phone, location, where the towers are and how many towers there may be and the congestion. It could even be the geography. Look at actual coverage maps. I have worked for a lot of them. I once recommended Verizon to a man because he lived in the mountains. The coverage map on T’s website said no T-Mo coverage. The man still chose T-Mobile. He calls back a day later saying “Amazing service with T-Mobile”. All carriers have their pros and cons. Get the service that’s best for your lifestyle!

    It s means nothing Tmobile was and still the worst ISP in this country don't trust them, the time when you switch to tmobile they start over charge you from the second month. When you ask for a promotion like they advertise, they say "no this is for this kind of customer not you" I swear to God each month I had a different bill, over charged, I had the unlimited 4 lines plan with an automatic payment, the bill should constant,. No, each month I have to struggle with them. No more I went to somewhere else

    I joined T-Mobile because of their satisfying services. Personally I think Sprint is "third world" quality and will begin the downgrade for T-Mobile. If T-Mobile can be improved without skipping a heartbeat with Sprint, then I will continue with T-Mobile. However I have vivid memories of suffering the ineptness of Sprint for five years. And I don't say this lightly or prejudicially because my focus is efficiency and excellent customer service which I had suffered very poorly with Sprint. There better be a huge purging with anyone that were employed in 2000 up to 2014 in Hawaii. Please do a good house cleaning from the grass root and up. My family and I will be observing and giving a chance before we make our final decision to continue or leave. That is a threat and I mean it!

    The interview commented that when he goes from LTE to 4G his phone basically becomes a brick. Guess what, LTE is the real 4G and 4G on AT&T and T-Mobile phones that is NOT LTE was actually HSPA+, a technology that is actually 3G but was labeled 4G by those companies because it connected to data at the same speed as early 4G LTE and as a weak 4G LTE signal. However 4G that is not 4G LTE is just a fast 3G that was renamed 4G by marketing departments of wireless carriers.

    • @evacody1249
      @evacody1249 6 років тому

      Norman H my phone becomes a brick when I can't make a damn call. Which is why I left Sprint and T-Mobile. I bought a phone not a tablet. That LTE, 4G, 3G etc is data. It has nothing to do with call quality.
      T-Mobile and Sprint should worry more about call quality them data.

    I am usually not for mergers ,this one I am for, Sprint has massive debt but a huge system ,T mobile is a strong able company able to handle the merger ,stick it to the big 2, right now there are only 2 players with 97% of the market .If it the merger does not happen Sprint will die a slow death laying off thousands ,it simply can not survive if the current market .Sprint still has valuable system that can super charge T mobile with a merger . that will truly then have competition with the big 2 that will be a positive for the consumer .

I guarantee there'd be a lot more cell services if owners didn't have to run to government and beg to do deals like this with their OWN company. It makes me wonder who even owns these companies. We need a free market platform to create more competition and better prices.

    I Love T-Mobile ! I left Sprint because they don't help their customers. I hope T-Mobile does not pick up the bad habits that Sprint has. I will never recommend Sprint!!

    i think it may be good if they spinoff metro and sprints pre-paid services as a tmus MVNO but with its own board and a long-term service deal when you look at all the MVNOand brands they control it's over 67%of all prepaid service in USA

    There should be 4, not three! FCC bosses didn't seem to agree. But the Trump Admin and DOJ may have a different opinion. Bottom line is what has better results for the customers - and one thing is sure: Competition is more important than Monopoly games. T-mobile looks like it's "eyeing" with the chance to become # one. Sprint looks like it's just trying to save its own life. Will the merger happen? Who knows.
    To create 5G, most likely followed by AI is a bit scary. We started the Internet with dial up and then moved to faster and more reliable networks. The "learning ability" of AI will outsmart human beings - given full access to all web resources and government networks. AI and 5G will happen and they will walk hand in hand - I just hope not against humanity. Many see today the "control" element of "information" is in the hands of a few. To further ridicule and abuse human minds can have unexpected consequences.

    I just switched from tmobile to sprint and I notice you can't play games while on the phone tmobile let's you do that but I feel tmobile is expensive for only one line and lie about free tablet I had to pay 84dollars extra cause I was I leaving tmobile or I could of kept the line for the tablet and still pay 10bucks a month.

    Had Tmobile for 9 years. When it took in Metro and Walmart family mobile. The quality went down. Drop calls. Lose signal while traveling across the east coast. No signal. I had to drop the carrier. Terrible.

    I think if it happens, consumers won’t suffer much. AT&T & Verizon are still fat and away the most dominant carriers. T-Mobile is more middle of the road and Sprint is a compete waste.
