This was the era of sex, drugs and rock n roll! The era of the best music ever!! Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks rocked the hell out of this tour in Japan, and they all played off of Stevie going off on this incredible performance! Lindsey, Mic killed it! They all killed it! They were on FIRE 🔥 Incredibly talented band! Intense creativity! They ate, slept and drank music 24/7! Best band ever! Best music ever! No one like them out there! Legends! Works of art! Xo Love you Fleetwood Mac, Love you Stevie! #fleetwoodmacforever #stevienicksforever 🙌🕊✨🌙💖💖💖
She is in a state that only a true artist can identify with. Music is spiritual. It is like a posession that occurs when the instruments: drums, guitar, piano,& voice come together. All of their creative & spiritual energy is mixing, transcending into another realm. A musical orgasm.
I'll never stop loving you my queen take me with you I sang you all my life you are my life rock on forever and ever you beautiful beautiful GOOD witch my queen take me with you
I am child of the' times' but you know what Stevie is the real deal. Her writing, girl next door to a fucking rock godess just blows my brain out of my head. She has been my idol. From the time I was a teen in the late '70s Istill worship her values. Rock on Stevie.
yeah he was wasted, but she was/they were at their best...it's a strange thing but true. Just watch the Gold Dust Woman performance from this night, both of these are a couple of the best performances of these songs ever.
yeah looks like she was up for 3 straight days. this version doesn't have that usual energy to it. Also I don't understand why the lovely style (especially the hair style) of the 70's disappeared only to be replaced by the 80's.
Why do people feel the need to point that out???? Yea it's WIDELY REPORTED,even by Stevie herself, that Stevie Nicks had a coke problem for half the 70s & the better part of the 80s yet some fkg rocket scientist feels the need to point that out on every one of her videos! WHY?!! Is it because she's a WOMAN? Any idea how many R&R bands were doing dope during this time? SO FKG WHAT!!! She got clean & never looked back so why don't YOU ALL? Tell us all something interesting that hasn't been commented on a gazillion damn times about Stevie Nicks instead of wasting space....damn🥱
Check out Lindsey's guitar from about 4:50 on, laid on top of Mick's drumming. A massive foundation from which eternal empires are built. Was it the coke in Japan or was it the lack thereof? This is the peak as far as I'm compared ... although I desperately the vid of 'You Make Loving Fun.' What gives??

I traveled to Japan for art show back in 1979 -- you did not bring drugs into that country. Maybe they snuck it in inside the equipment or something. Or maybe they got some pharmaceutical from a local Doctor Feelgood.
I don't agree that she was high. If you are a true fan you would notice the voice of Ms. Nicks. She was ill. Trying to put on a good show for the fans. Anyone even notice she had a hard time hitting the high notes ? Her voice sounded very raw and sore.
When I was a young girl in New Haven Connecticut I had a chance encounter at, of all places, The Gap in the Chapel Square Mall with Christine McVie. Christine told me herself that they were not sure they were going to be able to perform that night because Stevie was terribly ill. That's why Stevie wasn't with her. This was the era of these 2 talented women being ever so close to each other. This band had that mystical magickal spirit that got me through the roughest days of my life. I was too young to go to that concert. Christine was going to get me into it but i told her my parents wouldn't let me. she agreed I was too young when i told her how old I was but she thanked me for my loyalty to the band and she signed the book I was carrying Lol Christine is terribly missed by me. I LOVE this band.
Moreso that smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, coupled with ridiculous amounts of cocaine and marijuana, and the absolute vocal-destroying intensity of the Rumours tour damaged her voice far before its time
@whitepontiacheaven365 There’s pics of her with cigarettes in the mid 70s, and she also started smoking joints laced with tobacco way back in the late 60s, so she’d had plenty to smoke by then

Yes. Totally agreed
Love it. When Stevie grabs the microphone and says "Yeahhhh...All the same., all the same..."

Yup, Stevie is in another galaxy
I love fm but here Stevie was sooooo high

gloriously so..but that's rock n roll
So what, it was one of her best performances ever and she eventually sobered up. Negative vibes ain't a good thing. Keep the faith. Peace

Awesome performance
Wow she was high off of something!
I think she’s drunk.
Maybe she was but that's also just Stevie being Stevie. They don't call her a Rock & Roll Goddess for nothing😊

UAU!!! BIG PERFORMANCE!!!

Yeah and there is actual back stage footage of this concert and she was saying how she had a sinus infection

Raw and real
Well god fucking damn. 🐶🐶🐶
Just EXCELLENT 🐶🐶🐶
How any one can sing under the infulince is beyound me!
I love her and every performance is stellar …
But this one she looks worn out :(
That was an extremely grueling tour. It was a world tour. I forget how many performances but it was nuts. You can google it I'm sure.
@@JanaLalewicz oh man that’s right I forgot it was a world tour
The thing I remember about early Fleetwood Mac concerts featuring Stevie and Lindsey is the terrible sound.
She sounds hoarse here. But I still loved her singing.
she's stoned
Yep, Stevie Nicks was entering her "I'm too big to try anymore" paradigm that determined her career thereafter. What a waste.
Hahaha...what fkg reality are YOU living in?
