Great video as always! I was there live while you were fighting Artorias. I have a challenge idea but idk if it was suggested before. Can you beat Dark Souls without souls? Basically anything that costs souls is not allowed. So for example; no leveling up, no buying items, no upgrading and no repairing.
@@emeraldwolf7920 Yeah I'm aware that it's by no means impossible but so are around half the runs Kyle does. I phrased it that way because that's roughly how he could title it. It's basically a harder SL1 run. I'm curious if not being able to repair weapons will force him to vary his weapons more and weapons that aren't upgraded are a lot weaker than fully upgraded ones. Anyways the point is that it isn't nearly as hard as consumables only but he might need a break from such hard challenges since he might go crazy haha.
Dude I can’t belive he’s doing this when I was going to start making dark souls videos I was going to do this cause he didn’t do it already so I guess that only leaves cross bows only for my channel
You should try to beat every Dark Souls 1 boss with its own weapon. So beat Asylum Demon with the Demons Great Hammer, Taurus Demon with the Demons Great Axe (I think?), Moonlight Butterfly with the Crystal Ring Shield, Gargoyles with the Gargoyle Tail Axe, etc etc. This will obviously have to be done in NG+ since you can't use a boss soul to make a weapon to fight the same boss you got the soul from. But still, I think it would be a pretty cool idea. (Killing Seath with the Moonlight Greatsword, Sif with Artorias' Greatsword, Gwyn with his Greatsword, I think watching those would be really fun.)
Moonlight Butterfly you could also get the Moonlight Butterfly Horn (a spear that does purely magic damage) Although, Ceaseless Discharge, Centipede Demon, Stray Demon, Bed of Chaos, and Four Kings don't drop a boss soul that you can transpose. That run could still be really fun to watch
@@Hopeful_Husker You raise a good point. I didn't think of that at first. Hmm.... Maybe killing them with the weapon from the boss before them? Or armor of thorns just to make Kyle rage again 😂 But yea maybe killing Four Kings with Artorias' Greatsword because Artorias was suppose to conquer the Abyss? And Stray Demon with the Demons Great Hammer, since it's basically just an AOE spam Asylum Demon? Idk the specifics but the ones that it does work with would be cool. I was looking for ds1 only consumables run and when I gave up I got ur video in recommended!
Gamers weekend: did you get all that?
Me with auto generated captions: yes… yes I did
God seeing a consumable only elden ring run is gonna be neat
Without a doubt the best way to watch a DS challenge run
A fitting end, getting consumed by the fire.
I have a challenge idea! Beat dark souls without walking or sprinting. You can only roll and backstep to move
Mr Kyle sir, I must say this is much improved editing and comedic timing over your past videos. The quick cut on your laugh at 'Super Smough' was perfect, as was the silent moment after missing Priscilla. Kudos to you.
I am not a native speaker and consumables only sounds to me like you try to handle the Game with some chips and a few brownies. Damn Fire Bombs will make me hungry now.
Consumables run is an interesting run. I like it!
Ds2 consumables only next? Slap some covenant of champions on there. Would love to see it Kyle, ds2 is my favorite and I dig your souls content.
very very dank, great work. your editing is getting so good. keep it up my guy
After seeing that Artorias fight, I DO believe in miracles! Nicely done, you madman.
I had to play back the explanation twice lol
Not the Anor Londo globe trotters 😂
Stardew valley is an... unexpected music choice for dark souls.
I'm about to beat Dark Souls for the second time ever, I've played up to Anor Londo like 15 times and just didn't feel like dealing with the 2nd half lmao. But atm I'm just waiting at the Bed of Chaos boss door, whom I always do last, I'm dreading going inside. So I'm gonna procrastinate with this video😂
For the Capra strat aim at the 4th visible partition on the wall above and you should consistently he able to hit roughly 4 or 5 firebombs on him
Nice video dood, and great job beating the DLC too, that didn't seem easy
this is alsways such a fun time and seeing this channel grow is so cool. Keep it up
Kyle, got a challenge for u. Its a spell run but ur spells dont replenish. U can use all spell types but once u use all casts you delete the page multiple copies of pages are allowed.
I think at this point you can beat Dark Souls without even playing it
Happy new year, that was one of the cleanest consumables runs I've seen. Great job
Bro... You actually put stardew valley music on a dark souls video. That shit goes hard with the violent gameplay and the calming music
Great video as always. NOw I'll wait for the rest of challenges!
Strongly recommend the ds1 double trouble mod, so easily forgotten
Happy new year and I love your videos so much btw
