DeShannon’s version has such charm. As much as I dig The Searchers’ hit version, this one can’t be beat. I also think the lyric fits a girl a bit better.

even the most attractive have THEIR heartaches.
I'm not sure anyone realized it then, but popular music reached its pinnacle when Jackie performed this song. What charisma and what a wonderful sexy twang her amazing voice had!
I hang out in the 80’s on my music but this song is awesome with the original artist
The most genious, cool, nice and beautiful singer ever, past and present
Beautiful the song and Jackie
Great song and...damn....she's frickin' gorgeous!!!
+MusicDude86 look up Dusty Springfield..from the same era.. she was beautiful..and she could sing beautifully. Jackie Deshannon was gorgeous.. you're right. ...
BLAKE SHELDON IS MUCH BETTER LOOKING THEN HER,,
Wow!✔️🎶🌻🕺
Beautiful song
Beautiful woman too!💃
That would definitely depend on what "team" you play for.
then yes, now grandma.
She poured her heart, soul, mind and body into her songs! She was what she sang!
I recently saw Jackie on one of those PBS specials and She still looks and sounds great.
Amazing this. I came to this via Agnetha Falsktog's excellent cover. This is even better, and her dancing and face fills me with warmth. ...and just listen to that little wobble in the voice in the bridge on the word "true" . It undoes me.
Such class, such talent, and such a blessing! Thank you Jackie DeShannon.
She is unique.Only she can perform this song so perfectly,Amazing!
My ALL-TIME favorite song! I've been playing this for my history college classes for years, and Jackie's always been one of my "herstory" ladies. I've got every vinyl album she ever recorded and I have to add that I think her version of Neil Young's "Only Love Can Break A Heart" might be the all-time best cover version too.
.. a very cool version and presentation by a confident composer.
To be frank and honest..i just cant believe this woman actually existed!!..Shes got the looks...the voice and the rhythm!!..Who the hell has that now?????
Yep, get the timing right and it's all together !
I love the studio video by Agnetha Fältskog.
She was not only beautiful she was a helluva singer.
