I don't understand some things like 1)Their is exception of amalgamation as per A6 I.e where one company acquire other company by paying consideration in share,debentures or cash is not part of amalgamation. But in two types of amalgamation (i)amalgamation in nature of merger(ii)amalgamation in nature of purchase. In the second type I.e amalgamation in nature of purchase we make payment in share,debenture and cash. Transferor business is not continued by transfree business. Is that all features of amalgamation in nature of purchase is not contradicting with features of amalgamation?
