Aww I really miss these 😭 I still have a bunch of these minis, and most of them have retained their scent, but I hate that I don’t have them in 3-wicks. I really wish they’d figure out how to go back to the original pumpkin cupcake scent. When I smell the newer ones, I just pick up on some weird bubblegum-like note.
I still have a teeny plastic Hot Chocolate (circa .. 2010? 2011 maybe?) It still smells delicious but even at the time burning it seemed like a terrible idea. Who thought plastic candle jars was a good idea? 😂
I have SOOOO MANY of these minis left!! I’ll have to show my Collection on Instagram one of these days. I sold a bunch on Mercari too. I have a bunch of mini candle sleeves and holders!! Some have little stands they’re adorable! And HOW DID I MISS THIS VIDEO!!?? 😮😮😮
I remember watching you and your sister on UA-cam. She's so lucky to have a brother like you 🥰 so cool she lives in Japan and thanks for sharing your love of candles w us. And thanks to your parents for finding these candles 🕯️
That partnership between Slatkin/BBW was on fire - wish BBW could bring more of those cherished scents from their "vault"! Thanks Kent - your love and thus knowledge of scents and BBW just shines and we are the beneficiaries.
LOVE this video! I remember watching you and your sister (was it called the candle channel?), Little Balladeer, Scent my Way and Touch the Fire Twice. I have so many minis (especially holiday scents) and the little metal holders. I think there was a glass trio container to burn 3 at once? After 2011 I stopped collecting as much raising triplets, but still watched UA-cam videos when they napped to relax. Now I’m back full circle shopping there with 3 teens. 😊
This brought me back! In particular, seeing the Wild Strawberry, Hot Buttered Rum & Peppermint Mocha labels again 🥲 I burned my 3wick Wild Strawberry for like 2 years...i could barely smell it but I just loved that scent so much i didn't care haha
Mango Cilantro & Mango Beachwood were soooo good. I need Mango Beachwood again! I miss the slatkin era bc they made so many different fruity scents and a lot of them were unique and you can distinguish them from other fruity scents.
I never cared for Mango Cilantro but Mango Beachwood has really grown on me! I also agree, the fruity scents back then were more distinct and didn't smell so artificial and grody.
@@emilydiaz2994 yes do that to enjoy. Recently, I’ve been burning older scents and they’ve definitely lost strength. So I’m just going through all the old ones so I can enjoy what’s left of scent.
Hey Kent some of these are very reminiscent. I remember that the trio you mentioned with the candy sugar plum and I think it had peppermint marshmallows with it 😂 idk just throwing it out there haha I enjoyed this
They look tiny, because they are lol. They were only 1.3 oz, compared to the 7-8 oz of the single wicks today. Back then, they also had a 4 oz size as well.
Sharing your knowledge and tidbits on these candles are so exciting ❤🎉

I’ve smelled that bubblegum note since 2015! I still have a bunch too and little holders as well.
What a flashback. How fun. I couldn’t believe the little candle sleeve lol.
I love your videos so fun thank you
You're so welcome! :)
My fave description of yours of all times is "trash bag peaches" 😅 I love it and I get it 🤣
💙😆
Thank you for this video! I really enjoyed it!
Omg. How nostalgic! Those were truly the days. ☺️

Long time follower! I loved the videos with your sister!
Aw thank you for your long-time support! :)
I do have some of those plastic mini candles. So nice to go down memory lane with you. Love that your parents found your sister’s candles.
These were the days! This ignited my love for home fragrance
Soooooo fun!!!!! I have a few... Those were the days!!!!

The mini candles are great for blending with wax melts.
That was so much fun ! I still have two of these tiny candles in merry cookie and hot cocoa and cream. I keep them because they are so cute 🥰
Thanks for watching! Yea, I think the later ones even had the tiny silver lids on them, which made them even cuter!
“That’s what you get when you leave behind items in America and your brother has a UA-cam channel.” Haha! Yup, thems the rules!
😂
Love the mini candles! How many of the scents do you have in full size? That would be a fun video, seeing the side by sides.
Thank you for this trip down memory lane. I have about 10 of the mini's left. That was the good old times.😊💙

I love how you described the Slatkin and BBW partnership. In the nicest and more honest terms you could use, you read them/nailed it. 😂
Awh…the good old days. I wish he would bring back creamy eggnog. 🥺

Yes!!! They were the Old school reviewers!! Now everyone and their grandma reviews bc of instagram. Simpler times Better times before Insta!
Hearing you say “Omg Malibu smash!” made me so incredibly happy ❤
Aw love those little candles! I totally still have some and I wish BBW would bring them back 😍
I love how excited and cute you get on these throwback videos 💗 you can see in your eyes/face that you are being flooded with memories 😍
Wow, I just learned that cinnamon sugared donut is cinnamon spiced vanilla. Cause you always mention it. I like that one. Fun video.

Ugh yes! The Wild Strawberry performed like absolute trash but smelled so good!
I remember going to the outlet and stocking up on bags of these and they were only around $1. I miss these. Lol
Mango Cilantro & Mango Beachwood were soooo good. I need Mango Beachwood again! I miss the slatkin era bc they made so many different fruity scents and a lot of them were unique and you can distinguish them from other fruity scents.
I’ve been holding on to my last 2 mango cilantro I def need to burn them before they totally lose scent. That was such a great scent!
I never cared for Mango Cilantro but Mango Beachwood has really grown on me! I also agree, the fruity scents back then were more distinct and didn't smell so artificial and grody.

Aww I remember these I only have one left in my collection. Thanks for reminding us of easier / cheaper times 😊
Leaves in the mini was quite strong! Haha

Fun!
Why do these look so tiny? They look smaller than today's single wicks. Kind of cute, if u just wanted a trial. :)
They are similar to a tealight size.
