normally i don’t look forward to summer because i used to get bad FOMO from seeing people in my year hang out together in groups whilst i only had 2-3 separate friends… now i’m really looking forward to this summer because i’ve found comfort in myself and decided to not focus on others :) so this summer i’ll enjoy doing activities by myself like going on walks, sunbathing at the park, etc !
Being on your own while doing activities like that can be so nice. Most of my summers honestly while I was towards the end of highschool and then university, I would go to the beach by myself regularly, take myself on walks, out for lunch… 😂 it was fantastic 😂 I’m glad you’ve found comfort in yourself to do those things and feel good about them!!! It really is the best feeling

Something that also gave me comfort, even though it’s a bit tasteless is that most of the groups I’ve seen that post and have these big friend hangouts are usually just for social media and that’s it. I’ve hung out with people like that. It’s better to have a good small close group instead of big fake groups. Sometimes it’s nice being alone🤷

But sometimes the continuous loud noises kind of get so annoying

And the golden lighting, and the muffled sounds of kids playing in the background is so cozy and comforting
