Love the hood and side decals! Where can I purchase them at ?

Great to see some actual R&D and A/B testing. Also, like seeing the turning vane inside the IC. Only qualm is the "front mount" denomination LOL, this is Subaru PTSD, let go of it: Ford never made any RS with an intercooler that was not front mounted!

Awesome, heres hoping you guys make a carbon fiber intake for the Subaru GR chassis. 🤞

is the intercooler going to be Bar & Plate or Tube & Fin?

I'd like to request if you guys can develop custom pedals for the Focus RS that has better heel and toe placement. Thanks.

You can buy a spacer to bring the gas pedal up. There are a few different ones out now, a plastic one and one machined out of a block of aluminum. They are costly at around $60-80, but I imagine much cheaper then new pedals.

i do have a spacer. It's not very elegant though. Also I'd like the gas pedal to also be a bit wider as it's a bit far apart from the brake pedal.

I'm pretty sure almost half of the OEM Ford RS intercooler is covered from the factory with a blanking plate. Can anyone confirm?

The factory core does have a small piece that covers about 25% or so of the core. We removed that for all baseline testing though. So all of our baseline testing is with the stock core with no cover.

I heard ford put those covers on because in humid environments the stock intercooler was too efficient and creating condensation inside the intake. Wouldn't an upgraded intercooler have a similar issue.

mks57 I suppose that could become a problem in rare high humidity, low ambient temperature weather situations with a light footed driver. Generally thoes who install peformance intercoolers or look to improve IC peformance don't drive in a way that the IC will accumulate any concernable amount of condensation because any IC gets plenty hot during boost. High ambient humidity isn't always a bad thing but under certain situations it totally could be so I see your point.
Ford uses / shares parts with other vehicles and they had to blank some of the intercooler to use it in the 2.3L 4cyl. RS but still have an IC with enough thermal capacity for a future model or a new ECU flash. That plate is there to keep the IAT's hotter so tail pipe emissions don't dump fuel during cold weather with the factory ECU tune, no doubt. I'd imagine a water trap would be secondary if it was a considerable issue they encountered.
One thing you can count on with American cars is most anything you see nurfing a vehicles peformance is because of emmision control standards. If you live where it's frequently very cold and humid at the same time or you don't get into boost often and live in a very humid environment I'd recommend devising a IC piping water trap if you're actually finding measurable water in the intake piping.
I'm just a peformance mechanic, I'm not an automotive engineer. But that's a great question, let's hope Cobb gets back to you on it :)

Thanks for the reply. I live in southern Ontario Canada so surrounded by the great lakes so lots of humidity and cold in the winter. Was something i was curious about.
