“Perpetual sickness from daycare” made me laugh, I’m currently dying from yet another plague my boy brought home that didn’t seem to affect him at all.
1:53 with the "or else" and "I really don't want to have to do the thing" is hilarious and relatable. It seems to me like a lot of us Millennials were raised by folks with anger issues or other mental health problems, and while we don't want our kids to break meaningful and important rules, we also avoid the sort of punishments that were inflicted on us and try to be gentler than our parents were, but since this is one of the first generations in which gentle parenting is being normalized and the damaging effects of punishment and emotional abuse have really come to light, we don't have much role modeling to go off and might be awkward in our efforts. And then the irritation and sensitivity about their emotions kicks in and you have to comfort them about *them* breaking the rules. At least that's true for my husband and I! I'm even like this with the cat. 😄
3:48 "kids growing up with Gigle & Hoot *eyebrow raise*... &.. HERE you are " 🤣🤣🤣 Point to: Jimmy aka Jimmy Giggle of above mentioned fame💜💜 So much humour in all of this, thanx 😊
Millennial parent of a teenager here, we have mysterious net outages when someone misbehaves. Yes she has to use her phone data, but she only gets 20Gb a month and likes to stream in 4K. It is amazing how quickly she tries to right her mistakes
I'm a Gen Xer and it's incredible how much things have changed since I was a kid. When it came to discilpne, our parents could only belt us, ground us or stop us going to that party that we were DYYYIIINNNGGG to attend 😂

Jimmy I just watched your interview with 7 and thought do a POV on tv and radio announcers 😉 that would be funny also. This one I can just see my daughter thinking some of this 😂😂😂
Another Elder Millennial here, childless and loving life as the favourite Aunty of everyone else's kids because I play video games and throw epic tea parties 😁 Animals are my babies!
Millenial parent of three here and now I realise why I dont have many other millennial parent friends. My kids are bring raised old school. Its countdown from 3 and you better beleive there is timeout waiting for them at one.
Distinctly remembering the time and place of me stating "I'll never be one of those parents who lets their kids watch iPad's in restaurants"... 😂 100% spot on!
"Slowly realising you're becoming your parents... just without the wooden spoon" My parents knew how to count down from 5 without interruption. ...🤔 Maybe that's what the spoon was for.
Waking up taking your child to day care at opening time, have breakfast, get ready, drop school aged children at school at 9 am, go to work, get school aged children from school, go shopping, make dinner pick up baby from day care just before it shuts at 6 pm. Repeat every day…. Can you tell I’m an early childhood educator….this is seriously what most of you do. Sad but true story.
Hilarious again 😂 Jimmy phuleeeeese do a whole video on the craziness at Twitter at the moment. So funny all the people tweeting out on others’ twitter handles. Like Pepsi tweeting coke tastes better. Just fabulous! Loved your Twitter meltdown on MIA but we need more! 👏
...having to stay home, because your baby is sick from daycare and therefore can't go to daycare but still having to pay for daycare despite not making any money....
Oh the nostalgia! Nice to see you doing your own thing now! And yes, my now teenage kids used to watch you on giggle and hoot 😍 😂 Awesome vid man, keep it up ✌️
Don’t make fun of Bluey. My child is only 9 months and I use him as an excuse to watch bluey which is obviously meant for adults. 😉 But seriously that show is for adults.
Buying ridiculously overpriced wooden toys because they’re “Montessori” and someone on instagram said you needed them only for your children to never play with them and they just become decor on top of your Ikea trofast in your neutral playroom.
For once, barely a quarter of that meant something to me. I think they need to scrap this "Milennial" term. I was born in 87, grew up in the fab 90's. I am not on the socials, def not on Insta. Never own a $6K pram... just a 2nd hand one that RRP $200 brand new. Don't do earthy tones. Don't do the soy & almond milks. No food allergies in my household. Definitely there is no empty threats. There is strict discipline but lots of love given. And we do not treat our kids like babies, if they fall, we don't make a scene. I am really not liking being classed as a "Milennial". I always thought Milennial was the late 90's early 00's... but guess I was wrong. The only thing I could truely agree on is watching Bluey 😄
I feel the same! I'm born 91, barely use my social media, post maybe once a year if that, and I'm constantly hearing of millennials being 'lazy workers' and 'entitled' yet I've had bosses underpay me, treat me like crap and I'm still rocking up to work early and leaving late 😅 I feel like the term 'millennials' is misused way too much.
@@politicallyincorrectpanda yep sorry to say that millennials (Gen Y) were born from 1981 to 1996 with Gen Z born between 1997 and 2012 and Gen Alpha after that. But hey, I'm just a cynical Gen Xer so I really don't care either way dude.
What's a Millennial parent again ?, I honestly can't keep up with the titles anymore. My son is now 20 but when he was a baby, under 2, I got sick of reading all the same golden books as they were never long enough to knock the little bugger out, so I read him my Wilbur Smith novels but in a calming voice, so as the gazelle was being torn apart by the lioness it was all just words & went on for long enough to make even him crash. As for discipline, the 1st Xboxes & PlayStations were out by then, I went Xbox as it was the only platform that had Halo, a 2 player game, & if he acted up he was sent to bed while I played on, 5 minuets was his record from going from little shit to being allowed the 2nd controller again.
Do not relate to the food thing. As soon as my kids turned 6 months, I made sure they had dairy, gluten, nuts, banana, fish, eggs..anything that could cause allergies!!
"GIVING THEM EVERYTHING THEY WANT ....AND NOT REALISING THE CONSEQUENCES OF THAT YET".

"Kids growing up watching giggle and hoot, and here you are"
Perhaps my favorite line of any of these 😅
