Accurate video is accurate. Having been a cat person for 43 of my 44 years on earth, 2022 was my first cat free winter and the first time I've ever purchased black trackies.
I have had to change the types of clothes and colours in my wardrobe to avoid using a lint roller everyday to clean all the cat fur off before heading out each day…the things we do because of our cats!
Ah yes, I am in the: "spending more money on cat food, than my own food," phase. I have a tiny food budget, and half of it goes to the cats, because I love them. :D
And buying the flavour of cat food you thought your cat liked but then they refuse to eat that kind 😩
Please consider cooking cat food, it's generally much better quality for the money spent.
Many vets have put information and recipes online. :)

My fella had not long been microchipped and desexed, thank god I had him done. After two weeks, he’s back doing everything he did as a nine month old kitten. It’s as if he remembers everything, including his spot on the bottom of my bed.
I was almost watching with full attention, but then my cat did a biiig streeetch.

As a previous cat owner, I can vouch for all of this BUT (again from personal experience) you'd be surprised just how much of this also applies to a dog! 🐶
LOL yes. But is it just us past cat owners who treat dogs like cats? Seriously my mini schnauzer "purrs." He does this rhythmic rumbling noise when happy, like when I'm gently scratching his head.
@@Skittenmeow nah I grew up with both dogs and cats. The dog convinced itself it was cat sized, and since the cats could sit in our laps, so should he be able to...which would be fine...but only if you want a 90 pound huskey trying to sit in your lap. He also somehow managed to climb under the christmas tree to take naps like the cats did...without surprisingly knocking it over...which is more than we can say for one of the cats.

I don’t have a cat but was laughing so hard because I’ve seen my neighbours deal with a lot of these 😁😂 particularly letting a cat in and out all the time.
As a owner of dogs I have to say… it is the exact same for dogs
My furry and fluffy feline Feudal Overlords aren't hungry all the time.
A lot of the meows are for attention, play time, pets, turn off the TV, or because I've left something on the stove.
And, most of my furniture is dedicated to my fluffy Overlords.
OMG Jimmy, do you by any chance have a cat 🤣? You couldn't have described them better if you tried. What about the one when the cat reaches up and grabs your ankles and sinks it's claws into you as you're stepping over it as it lies sprawled out in the exact path he knows you have to walk.

I AM that cat owner, that's really a dog person, but has 3 cats (did have 5 but two have since passed of old age)! My dog passed 2 yrs ago and recently became ready to buy a new one, but still getting "covid prices" together, because the rescue places won't let me foster/fail foster a rescue,... BECAUSE I HAVE CATS! (WHICH WERE MY DAUGHTERS RESCUES, BUT NOW I HAVE THEM!) OMG, this video is my life, isn't it?!!😭😭🤣🤣🤣

Oh jeez! The cat walking! I walked my Ragdoll once (for the first time) and he walked quite happily…the dogs were also walking.

He just walked up the tree trunk and stopped at the end of his lead - 3m in the air!!! It was quite the effort to get him down. Thankfully he then learnt to walk around the trees.

Always had cats and dogs. Dogs lived outside, cats lived inside, and of the current 2 cats I have, one just loves to torment our dog through the windows ! She also must always follow my son ( and only him) into the bathroom and/ or shower !🤣.
The other one will meow until he is followed by his human "slaves" to the laundry, where he uses a chair to climb up on top of the washing machine, walks across the bench ,to where his food is. The human slaves must assist him to get onto the top of the machine, if he is either feeling lazy, or the lid of the machine is down ( making it a half an inch to high for him)...LoL 😂🤣🤣
A mate posted to FB today that he was woken up at 3am to the sounds of screeching and thumping and he thought the dog had finally gotten sick of the dog and was throttling it. Turns out that cats can't remove washing baskets that they manage to tip on top of themselves in the middle of the night.

Yep that's me. I even watched this while holding my cat, (she was trying to figure out how to get to my dinner). I have never walked a cat on a leash like a dog. My youngest cat would probably scratch and bite so much she draws blood if I tried lol.

Here is a caring side of cats (well at least my cat!): when she heard the gaging sound on my phone she walked up to me eyes wide open to check if I was still alive. After a few mrrrp and a few sniffs she walked away satisfied that hooman is still alive and able to provide food. 🤪

Spending $150 at Pet barn
Having a full wardrobe of clothes specifically for the dog
Spending the entire household budget that was supposed to be for groceries on the dog
The dog climbing over the keyboard when your trying to use the keyboard
The dog jumping on your bed when you’re trying to use the bed
Being unable to get up to unload the dishwasher because the dog has jumped on the couch and every time you try to get up the dog bites you because it’s teething
Having multiple games of tug of war with the dog over shoes, socks, ball, pants, sneakers etc.
The list goes on!

As co-parent to my 23 year old sons cat, who is now 15, she is around half of those things... except at night, she shoves her cold nose on my face so I’ll wake up and lift up the blanket, only for her to not get under, but then go over to my husband’s side of the bed and snuggle up with him! If I sleep in, she comes and walks all over me, for no particular reason whatsoever.
